Psychologist/author (psycho author) Jennifer Lane invites you to her world of romance, sports, and suspense! By day she's a therapist, and by night she's a writer. She can't decide which is more fun.

Jen's most recent novel is psychological thriller, Twin Sacrifice. Psychologist Matthew Durante risks his own life to save his twin brother’s as their foster father tries to take them down.

Jen loves to create sporty heroines and hot heroes in her college sport romances. Volleyball wonder Lucia Ramirez finds her love match in Blocked despite the glaring political spotlight aimed on her family. In Aced, the second book in the Blocked series, it's her brother Alejandro's turn to get lucky in love. Spiked (Blocked #3) completes the series and featu

Besides my continued fascination with sports, coming of age, and family dynamics, my unique inspiration is the racial divide in the US. We are more polarized when it comes to politics and race than we have been in some time, and I'm intrigued by how those differences play out in romance. The freedom of speech to express our strong opinions is a strength of America, as is the ability to find common ground despite divergent views.

Also, on a less serious note, I have always been drawn to tall, dark men, and hero Alejandro Ramirez definitely fits the bill. ;-)(less)

This limited author time means that writer's block rarely occurs for me because I'm typically excited to get back to my characters. However, it's not like the words easily flow. We really are too much alike!!! I take a women and gender studies class whenever I can. I love it. I will most certainly check out the Far Side. Lol, Thank you love. My school Mississippi University for Women (http://www.muw.edu/footsteps) were doing a book on the first black students here in honor of our integration of the races and 1966. They ask students to submit copies of essays, poem, etc to be added and include in the book. I was accept and voted third most read. Whenever I get a chance I will love to send you a copy of what I wrote. I'm so excited I just had to tell you.
