Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jennifer Lane My most recent book is Aced the second book in the college sports romance series Blocked. Besides my continued fascination with sports, coming of age, and family dynamics, my unique inspiration is the racial divide in the US. We are more polarized when it comes to politics and race than we have been in some time, and I'm intrigued by how those differences play out in romance. The freedom of speech to express our strong opinions is a strength of America, as is the ability to find common ground despite divergent views.

Also, on a less serious note, I have always been drawn to tall, dark men, and hero Alejandro Ramirez definitely fits the bill. ;-)
