The Lost King is a little less lost

Compliments for "The Lost King"
"The Lost King," a novel about a king finding himself ...delightful summer reading. It’s set in the Middle Ages and it has a King, a damsel in distress, a fire breathing dragon — actually a wyvern — a swordfight, and a cat named Meeyoo.
The story is based around a king who has wandered away from his kingdom and can’t remember where he left it. His search to find it is the McGuffin (look it up) that drives the plot.
Along the way he finds Meeyoo, a donkey named Duncan and a fiery steed named Charger. He ends up billeting with an enchanting princess, meeting a sorcerer, working in a metal forge making swords, inventing a bread saw, eyeglasses, and finding work as a harmonica player in a barbershop where the barber practices medicine on the side.
Devorah lives in Port Aransas and has written for many publications over the years. The book is available through the Moon, the Art Center for the Island in Port Aransas, or by emailing her at devorahfox@aol.com.
If you are heading out for a day at the beach and looking for a whimsical tale of a king in search of his identity we can highly recommend The Lost King and congratulate Dee on a job well done.

Get Away to SA
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of SAVE for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
As a tourist destination, Port Aransas gets LOTs of visitors from neighboring San Antonio. Well, we have those beaches, right, not to mention great restaurants and other attractions. But where do Port Aransans go when we need to get away? We go to SA. After all, San Antonio is one of the nation’s most affordable vacation destinations, and SAVE, the San Antonio Vacation Experience, makes it an even better bargain. SAVE offers more than $600 in savings to vacation must-haves like
theme parks
animal adventures
shopping
historic tours and
hotels.
SAVE partners include top San Antonio hotels and attractions, but there are options for the budget minded as well. Need a place to stay? Find SAVE partner hotels on the Riverwalk, near theme parks, even the airport, including establishments like the
Grand Hyatt San Antonio
Hyatt Regency San Antonio on the Riverwalk
Hilton Palacio del Rio
and many more.
Where would I like to go? Here's my sample itinerary:
I'd start with a tour of the Institute of Texan Cultures. (I have a scene that's set there in my next novel!). Using SAVEinSA I would get a free ticket for every one that I buy.
Get some serious retail therapy at the Tanger Outlet Mall. SAVEinSA would get me a free VIP Coupon book with over $900 in savings!
And how's this for thrills? An Alamo Helicopter Tour for a bird's eye view of the Alamo and the Riverwalk! The SAVEinSA deal is 10% off all flights.
Then I would cool down at a “Dive In Movie” at Splashtown. Using SAVEinSA I would get $7 off the Splashtown admission.

Check in at the Hilton Palacio del Rio. I've been there before and it's lovely. Using SAVEinSA I would get a special room rate and with a LIMITED TIME OFFER I could get Complimentary Self Parking, Complimentary Wi-fi and $25 Food and Beverage Credit.
The next day, tour the San Antonio Botanical Garden. The native forest walk sounds very attractive. SAVEinSA would get me a $1 off admission.
