I remember hearing comments like, "I don't mind the gays just as long as they don't try to seduce me," from straight guys all the time when I was growing up. It bothered me then and it still bothers me now. They "don't mind the gays."

It's no secret I've never been a fan of books or movies with gay content that are written and controlled by straight people. I believe that's discrimination, homophobia, and cultural appropriation. It's the worst kind of exploitation because many of us still don't even realize we are being exploited. It looks as if Ellen DeGeneres made another comment that's pissing people off. She was broadcasting a show from her 24 million dollar home and said this about being in quarantine:
This is like being in jail, is what it is, she said. Mostly because Ive been wearing the same clothes for ten days and everyone in here is gay.
