Homophobia is not just that blatant kind of discrimination where LGBTQ people are put down and banned from something. It's not just about a Christian baker not wanting to bake a cake for a gay wedding. It goes much deeper than that, and unfortunately I see it all the time with our so-called straight allies. It's a form of passive aggressive homophobia...

This was a little surprising to me, but not a total shock. It's always important to know when to leave, and I think Buttigieg showed wisdom and intelligence in doing so at this particular time. He did a wonderful job, ran a wonderful campaign, inspired millions of people, and he made history. I think he'll be around for a while.
With that said, Buttigieg returned to South Bend to formally announce he was dropping out.
