Why I Love Ryan O'Connell and "Special" So Much; Oprah's Great Big Cabbage Is Unreal, Ryan Field Books

Why I Love Ryan O'Connell and "Special" So Much

Pretty Man by [Ryan Field] I really enjoy everything about Ryan O'Connell, from his TV show to his wonderful, unique POV. And, he's cute, too.

His Netflix series, Special, has thankfully been picked up for a second season and now he's promising more gay sex scenes. I think I love his honesty the most.

“I’ve had to suffer through so many straight sex scenes and now everyone else has to pay,” the 33-year-old says.

This is why I've parodied straight romances a few times in books. I...

Gay Bathhouse Club Dallas Opens; "God's Own Country" Director Recants Amazon Boycott Regarding Censorship and Gay Sex; Ryan Field Books

Gay Bathhouse Club Dallas Opens

All kinds of businesses are beginning to open up again all over the world, and this story is about one of them in Texas.

Apparently, the Governor of Texas is allowing gay bars to open up again after the COVID shutdown, but many of those bars are choosing not to open up just yet. They claim they will remain closed for the safety of their patrons. You can't blame them.

However, Club Dallas, gay bathhouse in Texas, will be reopening with certain guidelines.

The same repo...

There Should Be Male Full Frontal Nudity In "The Great"; Neil Jones Addresses Gay Rumors; Ryan Field Books

There Should Be Male Full Frontal Nudity In "The Great"

First, we're watching The Great on Hulu staring Nicholas Hoult and we're loving it. In short, it's a true parody of the life and times of Catherine the Great, Empress of Russia.

Nicholas Hoult plays Catherine's husband, Peter, who is also the Emperor of Russia. He's self-centered, obtuse, self-indulgent, and seriously hot as hell. He's one of the worst characters I have ever seen in a TV series, and yet you can't help but love him. And Houl...

Ellen DeGeneres Changed the World For Gay People; Gay Matchmaking In India Under Fire; Ryan Field Books

Ellen DeGeneres Changed the World For Gay People

They are claiming all this controversy over Ellen happened over the last few months, but I remember when Ellen started getting bad press. It was around the time she was caught socializing with former President Bush. Let's be honest about it. Up until that time, I don't recall Ellen ever getting any bad press whatsoever.

From that point on, however, it seems as if Ellen's press has continued to devolve, and now she's allegedly at the end of her pro...

JK Rowling Is Caught Liking Transphobic Tweets; Daniel Newman Shares Phone Number For Sext Messages; Ryan Field Books

JK Rowling Is Caught Liking Transphobic Tweets

The sad story with regard to JK Rowling and transgender people continues. This is the latest thing I've read.

JK Rowling has been criticised for appearing to like anti-transgender tweets targeting a trans woman who has faced years of bullying online.

Here's the link for more. I didn't see the tweets in question, and I'm only linking. But a rep for Rowling claims she had a "middle aged moment," and she liked the tweets by accident, which of course is...

Joe Biden Is the LGBTQ Savior of All Time; LGB People Have Less Contact with Siblings; Ryan Field Books

Joe Biden Is the LGBTQ Savior of All Time

For the first time in US history this past year, we had an openly gay man running for President, with his legal husband by his side, Pete and Chasten Buttigieg. Many believe that Pete had an excellent chance of winning swing voters, and ultimately winning the general election. I believe he had a strong chance of becoming our next President.

We also have a countless number of LGBTQ people both in office and running for public office nowadays. And even...

Anti-Gay Trolls Busted On Grindr; "The Bionic Woman" and Queer Feminist Women; Ryan Field Books

Anti-Gay Trolls Busted On Grindr

Unfortunately, this seems to be a way of life in the age of technology.

Christiaan Otto regularly spewed homophobic nonsense about the evils of homosexuality and how gay people being responsible for coronavirus to his followers on Facebook.

Here's a link to read it all in full. The article goes on to mention many other anti-gay trolls in detail.

The Bionic Woman and Queer Feminist Women

There's a new book out that apparently examines the old TV show...

Anderson Cooper Reflects On Coming Out As Gay; Hot All Male James Marsden In "Dead to Me"; Ryan Field Books

Anderson Cooper Reflects On Coming Out As Gay

I've never believed in forcing anyone to come out of the closet, but I've always said that I've never known anyone who came out and regretted that. In other words, as difficult as coming out usually is, the benefits are always well worth it.

With that said, Anderson Cooper recently reflected on coming out as gay.

"I consider it, along with [my son] Wyatt, one of the great blessings of my life to be gay," he told DeGeneres in Thursday's...

Armistead Maupin Turning 76 Today; Transgender Woman Apologizes for Outing Gay Men in Morocco; Ryan Field Books

 Armistead Maupin Turning 76 Today

Here's a nice tribute to Maupin, in the form of a documentary. I haven't read much of his work, and I wasn't fond of the Netflix reboot for Tales of the City, but l know Maupin has many fans out there. And he was writing gay content back when most people didn't have the guts to do that.

In honor of Tales of the City author Armistead Maupin turning 76 today, we offer up the documentary biopic of the man himself.

You can check...

The Mainstream Catches Up With Technology and Digital Publishing

I don't have a link to this one. It's just an observation. Ever since the world shut down for Coronavirus it seems the mainstream has been discovering all the different ways they can use technology for informational purposes, for communication, and even for promotional purposes.

Of course those of us who've been working in Digital Publishing for the last two decades know all about virtual interactions. We've been doing all of it,...
