George Cukor's Classy Gay Sex Parties

If you're lucky enough to have had much older gay friends like I've had, you've probably already heard about parties like this. I still find it amazing that high profile people could get away with so much more in those days.

Cukor became known for his wild and distinguished parties, hosting Hollywoods brightest on Friday nights, and a more sordid crowd on Sundays.

Here's the link to read more. Apparently, famous Hollywood director, George Cukor, never...

Anderson Cooper Announces He's A First Time Father

Anderson Cooper has just announced that he's now a father.

On Monday, I became a father, he said. Ive never actually said that before, out loud, and it still kind of astonishes me. Im a dad. I have a son, and I want you to meet him.

I never get tired of reading about stories like this. Hell I never thought I would see stories like this about gay men.

You can read it all, here. There are photos of the baby that are seriously and totally...

Ryan Murphy's Streaming "Hollywood" Show On Netflix

I'm linking to that general column right now in Queerty that deals with the latest in LGBTQ entertainment, but they mention Ryan Murphy's new streaming show on Netflix and I've been very curious about it. It drops on May 1.

The series follows a group of young creatives who come to Tinseltown in search of a dream, and instead, discover a gas station brothel run by an eccentric would-be star (obviously modeled on Scotty Bowers).

Of...

Will Reeve News Reporter Isn't Wearing His Pants; "Never Have I Ever" and Gay Girls Coming Out; Ryan Field Books

Will Reeve News Reporter Isn't Wearing His Pants

This seems to be a running joke on social media lately. With everyone home working in self-quarantine a lot of guys have been allegedly forgetting to put on their pants during social media videos, teleconferences, and news broadcasts. And some have been caught with their pants down. I'm sure in some cases it's been honest. I also think some of it's planned to get attention, but who doesn't like seeing a cute man without his pants?

This one...

Anne Tyler's Redhead by the Side of the Road

Redhead by the Side of the Road: A novel by [Anne Tyler] I think I've mentioned before that I've always been a huge Anne Tyler fan. I was introduced to her work in college during a contemporary fiction class I took for my major, and I got hooked on her books with the first novel. As I recall, that was titled, Searching for Caleb. Since then, I've read every book she's written and I've never once been disappointed.

Her most recent novel, Redhead by the Side of the Road, did not disappoint me either. Once...

Trans Men Strip to Their Underwear

We rarely ever see stories about trans men, so whenever I do see one I try to link to it. It just amazes me sometimes that so many people never even consider the fact that there are...and always have been...trans men.

But I do think that's changing for trans men. There's a trend called #DontRushChallenge on Insta and TikTok that's prompted a video of trans men.

The video was put together by Instagram user Lucas Elliot (@cooltransluke). He said he and seven...

Sex Doll Sales On the Rise
Well this is interesting. According to this article, sex doll sales are on the rise because of self quarantines and social distancing.
We are seeing the sex doll industry go through a revolution during the COVID-19 pandemic with a huge increase in orders from both couples and male and single females, company spokesperson Janet Stevensen told GayStarNews
You can check this out, here. The sex dolls cost a little more than $2,000.

Bella Ciao Da Ogni Balcone; Should You Delete Your Ex's Nudes...and Your Ex; Ryan Field Books

Bella Ciao Da Ogni Balcone

One of the things I love about Twitter is that I always feel connected globally. And the hashtag #BellaCiaoDaOgniBalcone is an excellent example. It actually means, Beautiful Hello From Every Balcony, and so many people have been sharing it today for various reasons.

Here's a link to one video where an Italian musician is serenading his neighbors.

But really, it's a hashtag where many in Italy and doing the best they can to get through everything with the Coronavirus,...

Sam Smith Loves Poppers; Gay Man Pays Straight Studs For Sex; Ryan Field Books

Sam Smith Loves Poppers

The only reason I'm posting about this is because I like poppers, too, and I have this feeling a lot of people don't even know what they are. I know most straight people don't know.

With that said, here's what poppers actually are

Popper is a slang term given broadly to drugs of the chemical class called alkyl nitrites that are inhaled

You get a quick rush that doesn't last more than a brief moment. That's it....

An Unsolicited Review for "Sleepless In San Francisco" by Ryan Field; Hockey Star Brock Weston Comes Out As Gay; Ryan Field Books

An Unsolicited Review for Sleepless In San Francisco by Ryan Field

For me, speaking as an author and as a reader, the best reviews always come from readers and from those who weren't solicited to write the review. For me, an unsolicited review means there's no hidden agenda with either party involved. In other words, the reviewer isn't trying to get anything from me, and I'm not trying to get anything from the reviewer. And I like that, and I appreciate that.

With that said, here's a new...
