A Tennessee Mom Reads List of Homophobic Insults Her Child Has Faced, Ryan Field Books

A Tennessee Mom Reads List of Homophobic Insults Her Child Has Faced

I'd just like to point out that things like this have been happening all over for years and no one has spoken up about it. Especially not a parent. The old school way to handle this was to pretend it never happened and move on.

However, that's just not acceptable now. A mom in Tennessee read a list of slurs her child has faced to the school board. The woman's daughter came out as a lesbian in the 4th grade. Yes, most of us know...

Pulse Shooting Survivor Claims: 'It's My Florida, Too.' Ryan Field Books

Pulse Shooting Survivor Claims: 'It's My Florida, Too'

Here's the story of a man named Brandon Wolf and he's written a memoir titled, "A Place for Us."

Wolf survived the Pulse nightclub shooting, lost his best friend in the shooting, and now he's a gun safety activist.

Sadly, like many gay people in Florida, he doesn't feel safe anymore.

You never know if the people hopped up on that transphobic hysteria that the governor keeps pumping out are the same ones that are going to show up to an event...

Kevin Spacey was Pressured to Come Out as Gay, Ryan Field Books

Kevin Spacey was Pressured to Come Out as Gay

When allegations regarding sexual misconduct started to surface around Kevin Spacey, he claims he was pressured to come out as gay. He's on trial right now in London for alleged sex offenses and he seems to be talking openly about all of it.

He told jurors that his entire world "exploded" in 2017 when he was accused of these offenses.

“There was a rush to judgment and before the first question was asked or answered I lost my job, I lost my reputation...

Michigan Salon Owner Won't Serve LGBTQ Because of Pedophiles, Ryan Field Books

Michigan Salon Owner Won't Serve LGBTQ Because of Pedophiles

This is really rich, and no doubt a direct result of the SCOTUS ruling last month that allows businesses to discriminate based on religious reasons.

But this only includes the TQ+ end of the alphabet. Apparently, LGB is not part of this. I'm not sure whether to rejoice or just shake my head. I wouldn't support a business like this anyway. And neither would any straight people I know.

I've been seeing a lot of this going around lately. ...

Trans Woman Wins Title of 'Miss Netherlands,' Ryan Field Books

Trans Woman Wins Title of 'Miss Netherlands'

This bit of news should really shake up author J.K. Rowling and the TERF crowd. A trans woman has won the title of Miss Netherlands and many of us think it's wonderful.

A woman named Rikkie Valerie Kolle Is now Miss Netherlands 2023, and she's the first trans woman, ever.

She's absolutely beautiful and so excited to have won.

“I DID IT!!!!! [image error][image error],” Kollé wrote on Instagram following her win, “It’s unreal but I can call myself @missnederland 2023.”

Here's mo...

Ron DeSantis's Very Gay Ad, Ryan Field Books

 Ron DeSantis's Very Gay Ad

Apparently, Ron DeSantis, Governor of Florida, made a video showing how masculine he is. He did this by attacking some of the more positive things Donald Trump has said about the LGBTQ community in the past. It's clearly a video designed to go after Trump but somehow backfires along the way.

And while he makes Trump appear to be LGBTQ sympathetic, to his "Family Values" base, he tries to make himself appear as masculine as Tom Cruise in Top Gun. I'm not joking about th...

First Openly Gay President in Latvia is Sworn in, Ryan Field Books

First Openly Gay President in Latvia is Sworn in

Here you go, homophobic American family value Christians in the US, this is what is happening on a global level.

The first openly gay President of Latvia was sworn in. I've posted about him before.

And he's not making this about being gay. Edgars Rinkevics seems to be focused on many issues, including fighting the crime and corruption against cartels.

Even though the EU has had openly gay people as heads of governments,  Rinkevics is he first head o...

Candace Cameron Bure Fires Back After Being Accused of Homophobia, Again, Ryan Field Books

Candace Cameron Bure Fires Back After Being Accused of Homophobia, Again

Miss Bure of the "Family Values" crowd is in the news again for alleged homophobia. Apparently, Miss Benny, who played 'Casey' on Fuller House is claiming that Bure tried to get rid of her on Fuller House.

According to this article, it went down this way. Miss Benny was assigned the male gender at birth, but came out as trans last month. Benny didn't call  out Bure by name. It was implied that Bure didn't want Queer charac...

Kansas Attorney General Sues So Trans People Can't Change Driver's Licenses, Ryan Field Books

Kansas Attorney General Sues So Trans People Can't Change Driver's Licenses

I guess if someone is transgender they prefer to be officially recognized as a different sex.  I don't know how most states handle this, but this article discusses how the AG, Kris Kobach, of Kansas is fighting to keep trans people from changing their sex on their driver's licenses.

The new law that Kobach wants would define everyone's sex as male or female, according to their biological birth. There is no mention of the ...

The 'Customer' in SCOTUS Gay Rights Case Raises Questions, Ryan Field Books

The 'Customer' in SCOTUS Gay Rights Case Raises Questions

Here's an update on the legal case where a web designer claims she didn't want to do gay wedding web sites because they were against her high moral and religious values. She alleges that she got a a request from a man named 'Stewart' and his husband for a web site.

The problem is that this 'Stewart' is claiming this never happened.

Here's the rest of the story. They go into a great deal more about this case, and others, and I don't like t...
