Winners, Update, and Blog Award

UPDATES:
My copy of Faith & Finances: In God We Trust arrived on Thursday. What a beautiful book! I love that the cover shows Jesus strolling beside a briefcase-toting businessman. The devotions, written by many authors, including Loree Lough, Virginia Smith, DiAnn Mills and myself, are couched inside a modern-day retelling of the rich young ruler.
Here's the back-cover copy:
Jesus spoke about money and material possessions more than he talked about heaven, hell, or prayer. He noted the...

GUEST BLOG POST: Book Promotion - Back To Basics by Marlayne Giron

BOOK REVIEW: "The Raven Saint" by M. L. Tyndall (& Book Giveaway!)

In August of last year, WordVessel was delighted to feature author M. L. Tyndall. (You can read the interview here.) When she spoke about the themes and scripture references for her books, I knew that I wanted to read some of her work in spite of the face that I'm not a big historical fiction fan.
So when the opportunity presented itself for me to review the third book in the Charles Towne Belles series, I jumped at it. And I am SO glad I did!
I really identified with the main character, ...

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
