BOOK REVIEW: "Thin Places" a memoir by Mary DeMuth

After reading Christian author Mary DeMuth's Daisy Chain and A Slow Burn, I knew I wanted to read her memoir, Thin Places.

BOOK REVIEW: "Meander Scar" by Lisa Lickel

I first met Lisa Lickel via an author interview here at WordVessel. You can read the interview here. She contacted me about doing a possible review of her latest book, Meander Scar at the end of last year, and I jumped at the chance.

Meander Scar tells the story of Ann Ballard, a forty-something woman whose husband has been missing for seven years. Unable to move on with her life and blocked by powerful in-laws when trying to have her husband declared legally dead, Ann's life seems to have s...

I'm honored to welcome author Jennifer AlLee to WordVessel. Jennifer, tell us about yourself.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: Gospel of Peace Footwear

The Journey So Far

Whew! What a whirlwind! The past couple of weeks I've been scraping by on about four hours of sleep per night trying to keep up with all the "stuff" required in launching a new book.

Here's a brief run-down of all that has transpired so far and the monetary cost involved. Once the dust from the fallout settles a bit, I'll write more extensive posts on some of these items to familiarize you with the process in case you're interested.
