A few examples of Fan Art from the Valhalla trilogy

It was nearly impossible to select just ten for a photoset. I’ve never seen a single work inspired by the books I haven’t really liked. Check out the Walrus Squad linked tag above to see it all!

Armor from Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

It’s not quite Thaco Armor from Valhalla but it has a similar aesthetic. The biggest difference is that with Thaco, all the equipment and supplies are concealed within the armor. Thaco collars are also far smaller, though they too contain atmospheric containment systems. Also with Thaco, one armor fits all sexes without alteration, and of course Thaco armor is far more colorful when not camouflaged.

HI important question here; how easily could Violet kill that lady.

Laureline seemed fairly tough even by Valkyrie standards. Violet would win but it would be a fair fight. Unless she used her Tikari.

Counterargument: Looking at that woman, killing her seems like it would be pretty low on Violet’s priority list given the choice.

Yeah, on the FMK thing Valerian would be the K and Laureline would be the F. I was going to say that would make Luc Besson the M in the picture, which wouldn’t be on her list but I’m sure he’d he’d be all about it given his record.

is the uhm, female breast plating also part of the aesthetic?

No,  Thaco Armor is the same for all users, and has pliable material over the chest for any type of body. I should note that it’s selectively pliable meaning it fits any form it’s put over, but if struck by a weapon from outside it’s 100% solid and is roughly as protective as the more conventionally armored zones.

Sadly The Thumb Drive of Saluko Jones doesn’t exist in the real world. But if it did, I guarantee you it would have one of those parts

Part 3 of a series
