Have I mentioned how incredibly fucking proud I am of this film? Because it’s everything I wanted it to be, everything I want in a movie that I’ve never seen before. It has moments that make me cheer, and nothing I dislike. Sorry for the egotism but damn it, I made a movie and it’s all I wanted it to be and more.

I just watched Jealous Gods and i really love the movie and the ambiguous ending, especially all the valhalla references. since it takes place in the same universe, is it possible that Bridget is related to Veikko? or if there are any other connections bet
Thank you! Bridge wasn’t written to be related to Veikko but 200 years is a long time and it’s a big world. I won’t rule out the possibility.

Some people have asked how Jealous Gods fits in with the Valhalla universe in terms of timeline and shared universes.
The answer is that I have two timelines in which everything I do takes place, a Real one in which the laws of science apply, and a Surreal one in which absolutely anything can happen. A couple of unpublished projects take place in both and connect the two, and some other curious bits and pieces seem able to exist in both or affect the other realm, for instance one of the surreal stories is mentioned in Ragnarök as having been written by Toshiro.
Jealous Gods takes place about 225 years before Valhalla, both are in the Real timeline. Several events mentioned in Jealous Gods are mentioned in Gudsriki and vice versa. One notable bit of info is that Jealous Gods takes place in early 2007, so the cell phones are anachronistic. “Day of the Beast” is an unfinished film that covers the events of the first chapter of Gudsriki. “Valknut” is the tentative name for the series of books covering V Team’s first year before Ragnarök.

Hmm, I need a name for this character. She’s supposed to be a snake-like character so lets google up a snake glossary and use the first term on the list as her name.
*opens glossary and reads first entry*
Ah yes, her name shall be “Anal plate.”
Write it backwards, no-one will ever know.
