the worst memories of being bullied is when ppl would pretend not to be bullying you and ask you questions and u thought they were just asking u stuff but they were actually laughing at you the entire time and u had no idea bcos you were young and you didnt understand why people would be mean to you when you didnt do anything wrong.

I spent a lot of my childhood in a constant state of “this is a trap but I don’t know how”

This stayed with me. Sometimes when people are nice to me, I still think they have bad intentions.

Though they’re not my worst memories of being bullied, I want to reblog this in solidarity with everyone, especially any of my readers, who know this one personally.

I am still not capable of hearing compliments without instantly suspecting the person giving them. Someone saying I’m smart is generally the fastest way to make me not trust them, and any compliment from anyone I don’t know well instantly makes me hate whoever gives it. I’m getting better at getting past this and recognizing it as a false thing based on bad memories but yeah, when I’m 90 years old if someone tells me I’m a very smart guy, I’ll probably still feel a sting of hatred toward them.

Best wishes to anyone trying to sort through the same.

irrepressiblenaiad:

SO HEY I PUBLISHED AN EBOOK

I spent quite a bit of time on this and I’m really proud of it! As you can probably guess, it’s pretty fucking lewd. It’s transformation, mind-control-via-programming, sci-fi lesbians, conveyor-belt fucking, all these lovely things. It’s also, well. Nice? No-one is horrible in it. The hotness is not derived from suffering.

I’ve even had reviewers tell me they loved it even though it wasn’t their fetish!

Consider buying it and trying it!

(If you want to help me out but don’t want to buy porn, well, I do have a donate link on my blog too…)

An old friend of the blog has resurfaced with a new book. I haven’t seen this one but if the above is to your taste by all means check it out and support an aspiring author!

A too nice angel befriends a bullied imp and maybe accidently triggers the end of the world in this fun urban fantasy with a focus on aro/ace characters, questioning identities and platonic friendships. Light and fun, and then maybe less so– the apocalypse can really make it difficult to keep a happy face.

Get it on Amazon for $0 (Oct 1-6) or .99c: http://amzn.to/2uXPddg

It is one of my greatest regrets that college has left me without the time to read for pleasure. This is what I’d read if I could. Please let me live vicariously through you all and read this! Maybe this first though.

“What curious things, these Homo Sapiens. One drone in a public digestion pool causes so much more grief among them than thousands of drones executed from orbit.”

- Story idea I’m filing away for later

The amount of curiosity this provokes is through the roof!

Hey! Your book Valhalla was mentioned in the recent Greg Proops Smartest Man in the World podcast "Spikes"!

Really? That’s amazing! I’ll see if I can find it!
