Fun actual non-made-up fact: The first edition of Valhalla has a Beatles joke regarding Umberto that got cut before the currently available second edition.
I want a first edition valhalla to go with my gudsriki with little side cover print.
Just a note- There are about 75 first edition copies, but as far as I can tell under 50 copies of Gudsriki with the undersized title on the side were printed. So it remains to be seen which book will be the real holy grail of Valhalla collectibles.

Conveniently, I’m reading gudsriki for the second time, and just read the part where vibeke ate decaying walrus.
It’s weird, I’ve not read any of the books since the last was published so my memory of them is kind of dwindling. I hadn’t thought of this scene in a long time. I tend to remember only the things I’m not happy with but this reminds me of a moment I can be proud of- Spoilers- The will to barf half-digested rotting walrus on ones nemesis during a kiss really showcases her character and why I enjoyed writing her. Thank you for commenting, you made me very happy :)

Bought a copy of Valhalla on google books bc I follow the author on tumblr and while some of it goes over my head (bc I’m an idiot) it’s actually really interesting and unique. Was not what I was expecting.
