Seriously, I think they have. @incorrectvalhallaquotes has posted new Valknut chat every day for years now and I am so enthralled and happy they exist to continue the humor. It’s a pleasure to see every time and the will to post so regularly is something I know from facts and respect a great deal.

Good Angel: rad af LGBT+ book you should read
Good Angel is a novel by A M Blaushild. Cover art is by @quibbs
it’s a colorful, fun, slice of life about angels and demons attending a sort of university training. a nice angel is too nice to a demon, makes a few mistakes, and possibly kickstarts the apocalypse.
Slow going at first with a slice of life style. Humor, magic, friendship… and maybe the end of the world. Lots of LGBT rep, though it isn’t the focus, with a specific main on ace/aro. The main themes are grey morality, identity, religion… it’s both light and dark and everything in between. It’s about having fun and facing the consequences. Part of a duology with part two coming 2018. Starts slow, but evolves into a magic, action-packed urban fantasy that delves into religious lore.

The Nest by AriBach Concept art for an adaptation of the Epic of...
Concept art for an adaptation of the Epic of Gilgamesh into a space fantasy setting. The Nest is a cluster of several planets within a gas shroud.
In the center is Garter, a city globe of epic proportions that consists of towers several hundred miles across, some that reach nearly to the other planets. Nearby is Shell, the planet mined to make Garter’s mass. It’s little more than a broken crust. Utna, Anger and King are Earthlike planets with a few moons. Utna shares a water moon with Shell, where the gravity (which is clearly haywire around here) is slowly siphoning away Shell’s fluid. There are two gas giants, Heaven (tan) and Calque (purple with yellow storms), as well as the crater world Varia and the blue, foggy Loa.
The region houses a dozen intelligent species and countless beasts, and the inhabitants of Garter are godlike beings that rose from the hyper-rich merchant nexus of the Nest.
Basically I’m going for Middle Earth in space with this one. I assume similar things have been done across Asimov and Bradbury and others, but here’s my shot at it.
