Are you making 2nd quarter goals? Hope, health, & happiness.
Yesterday I met with our CPA to file our 2022 taxes. So. Not. Fun! My husband Ray and I now owe even more taxes than the year before. I’m looking to Jehovah Jireh our Provider. God provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice to God instead of his beloved, precious son Isaac. God told Abraham to kill Isaac to test Abraham’s faith in Him. When God saw that Abraham was going to obey, not even withholding from God his son who he waited years into his old age to have and who he greatly loved, God stoppe...

What needs reviving in your life?
You’ve probably heard of the Asbury Revival at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. It’s been going about 11 days strong now. Students were having a regular service in the chapel there and a few lingered after the service. The Spirit of God fell and there was worship, praise, and repentance among the university students. People from across the USA and even the world began coming to witness and to participate in this event. It caught the attention of the media and other places began experienci...

My one word 2023: Light
My one word for 2023 is "light." We are to shine like stars in this increasingly-darker world. Light exposes the darkness. It reveals. It helps you and me to clearly see and to guide us. Jesus said He is the light of the world. What is your one word for 2023?

My new book made #1 in the category of Christian Prophet in Kindle!
It’s always exciting to write a book. No matter how many books that you’ve written and published, whether it’s one, ten, or 100, the feeling of seeing your name on that front cover (or Kindle cover) NEVER gets old. And there’s no other feeling than HOLDING your book! I liken it to birthing a baby. Pregnancy is difficult and uncomfortable and by the ninth month, you just want it to be over with…but when the baby finally comes, what JOY to hold that precious, beautiful baby! And with a book, there...

What’s new: my last Vlogmas of 2022, Cultivate speaking event, my new book, and one-word 2023
Hi there! I’ve got several exciting things to share with you today! First, here’s my last Vlogmas 2022 (vlogs that are about Christmas – a vlog is a video + a blog). I share about creating a miniature Christmas tree for our daughters Eden and Leah from Ray’s mom’s (their “Mimi”) Christmas crafts. She made me one with bears when Ray and I first married, and made another with snowmen that I gave our daughter Heather when mom passed away, as Heather (and I) loves snowmen. You can see the finished a...

What has you blocked?
On Friday, after having my morning hot, creamy coffee and prayer, I set about to do my work in my office on my laptop. I had a Zoom coaching call also with my biz coach, Diane Cunningham Ellis, which went well. Diane gave me some suggestions on improving my website and advice on how to prosper more in my business. (She often says, “If you’re not making money in your business, it’s not a business. It’s an expensive hobby!” Amen!) About mid-morning, my husband Ray texted me that a plumber was comi...

My birthday: Destin beach, a surprise visit, Japanese hibachi grill, Starbucks gift cards, songs, and more
Yesterday was my birthday. My husband Ray’s gift to me was my recent week-long trip to Destin beach, Florida for a week alone (August 15-22, 2022). I’ve been praying for over 3 years to travel there. One day I found a reduced plane fare online and Ray said, “Book it!” so I did immediately! Destin beach is gorgeous with soft, white sand and clear, blue-green water. I desperately needed this time of relaxation on the beach and to work on my speaking and writing biz. You can see my recent vlog, My ...

The beach is my happy place
What is your happy place? Mine is the beach. Specifically, Destin beach, Florida. I’ve been praying for over three years to travel there. It is the setting for the first fiction book that I wrote, Storm Tossed. The Destin beach is gorgeous with soft, white sand and clear, blue-green water. I recently went there for a week, staying in a beautiful Air BnB. It was an amazing, fun time. I give Jesus Christ all the glory for getting me there. I’m so thankful to my husband Ray for his support for me ...
