Baby Piper: it’s hard to wait
It’s hard to wait. I’m not much of a waiter. Like a racehorse rarin’ to go out of the starting gate, I’m not real longon patience. Yet patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. “So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete.” ~ James 1:4, TLB My stepdaughter Eden is now 32... Read more »

Lots of changes
I’m sitting here in my office drinking my coffee, thick with hazelnut creamer, an indulgence I have these days to replace my coke habit. Not coke as in crack, but Coca Cola. I was addicted to it for years and in January I radically changed my lifestyleand finally quit drinking coke. I This has truly been a year of pivot. Before the beginning of each new year, I take some time alone with God to pray about the coming year,... Read more »

What are you afraid of?
This past week I was in Diane Cunningham‘s Five Day Be Brave Be Seen Challenge on Facebook. Diane encouraged the women to conquer their fears, step out to be brave and courageous, and to become more visible online with their business. Everyone battles fear. Fear is your enemy. It will stop you from fulfilling your great potential and purpose. You won’t be able to run the race and get to the mountain top of all that God has planned for... Read more »

She’s written over 35 eBooks at Amazon and her husband CJ has written 20. Together, their royalties from Amazon pays their basic bills most of the time! When I heard this, I knew I’d have to take her course, Author Audience Academy. During this writers’ training, I got my book idea, wrote the book, The Cinderella Story: The... Read more »

My dream this morning
I don’t usually tell my dreams publicly to people. ButI had a dream earlier this morning that I believe was from God for me and others. Here is the dream and what I believe is the interpretation. Dream: There was a banquet for supper. The hour was late, about 9 p.m. I was welcoming people as they came in, pointing them to another room where they could get the appetizers and wine. One man asked where the room was and... Read more »

My new website theme
“Sherefused to be bored chiefly because she wasn’t boring.” ~ Zelda Fitzgerald, The Collected Writings I don’t like being bored and seek to live a happy, fulfilling, productive, and spiritually fruitful life. This includes my speaking/writing business. About once or twice a year, I become restless and want to change my website theme. A theme is the way your website looks. Think of it like clothes on a person’s body, the way you are dressed. Some people enjoy dressing up,... Read more »

Punch the voices of fear and doubt in the face
Our youngest daughter Leah graduated from our homeschool over two years ago, and she still isn’t sure what she wants to do with her life. I’m like the racehorse Secretariat, rarin’ to go out of the starting gate. As people say, opposites attract, so my husband Ray is more like a turtle. He never makes […]
