First full review for GOD'S BANKERS

This is the first review.

Although the finished book is still a couple of months away, the early industry reviews are starting. Kirkus always leads the pack, and booksellers and librarians rely on what it says to decide how many copies to order. And Kirkus – where the reviewers are anonymous – has a reputation for being tough on writers. First mini-review for GOD'S BANKERS

Here is the first pre-publication mini 'review' for God's Bankers - A History of Money and Power at the Vatican. All traditionally published authors wait for three early reviews. The one below from Library Journal is almost always first. LJ does thousands of short reviews/synopses annually. GOD'S BANKERS: typset pages have arrived....

In the world of publishing, progress is slow and then suddenly there's a big leap forward. Today, I got the manuscript for God's Bankers - A History of Money and Power at the Vatican for the first time in typeset pages (720, made possible because a couple of hundred pages of source notes are in a small font).
