Apologies
These past few months have been very full on and so I must apologise for my lack of posts and support. Work has been busy and like many others I’ve been plagued with various back to back viruses that seem to linger for far too long. My partner has spent the past few weeks in the hospital with one such virus and is seemingly going in the right direction, as you can imagine it’s been stressful for both of us.

On the plus side, the books seem to be doing well and pretty much taking care of themselves.

Look forward.
Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?
Like most people I have had ups and downs in my life. It would be easy to pick out certain times or places that are special moments, but here’s the thing, I would not go back. I am where I am now because of my ups and downs.

Life, the perpetual rollercoaster.
I’ve been very neglectful of my blog site lately. I’ve started a new job, still in the care industry but a little less hectic. I have to admit I miss the ladies and residents at my previous work place but sometimes life doesn’t go the way you want it to.

I’m happy to say that I did the author talk, albeit I was a bag of nerves! Hopefully I will be less jittery next time. I’m very pleased with the feedback from the 4th book of Billoughby Billoughby 4: Saving Grace https://amzn.eu/8QrJp7K
The other book is a trilogy of stories that I wrote as short tales. Ladies preference was so much fun to write and focuses on the lives of 3 very different women. Ladies Preference: A Trio of Tales https://amzn.eu/d/eZBU7Or
The car shows over the summer have been great, we’ve met some great people and the weather has been kind.

Now the stingy insects have all but gone into hibernation it was time to get back to some archery, I still enjoy it and even though I’ve had a little break from it, I didn’t do too badly.
Stay well and stay happy,

Chit chat
So tomorrow I’m going to be doing my first author talk, am I a bit nervous? Absolutely, but it should be fun and an experience. It’s going to be at a museum with some other local authors and thankfully I’m not first. I’ve had a blast writing not only the Billoughby series but the other books too. They’re all different and they have been a real adventure in this chapter of my life.

Billoughby 4 Saving Grace

I am thrilled to announce the next exciting installment of my historical fiction drama series. Having had some early feedback on book 4, I am confident I went the right direction with the characters.
It’s been a hard slog, but well worth the time and effort. It has helped me too, I was struggling with focus in the earlier part of the year and some health issues into the bargain. If you get a chance I would more than welcome your feedback but mostly, enjoy it.

Excited
So I had some unfinished stories hanging around on my drive. I have finished them off and put them into a collection of 3 short novella’s/works. I had so much fun doing them that I didn’t simply want them to disappear into the void that is my scatter brain. Today I got the printed copies and I love it. Yes, I’m biased, of course I am

Reblogging. Is it yes or No?
I read lots of interesting, funny & serious blogs here on WP, I’ve even come across a recipe or 2. Is it polite to just go ahead and reblog them & if so do I need to add a title etc?
