Beauty

How often do you look for feedback from another, for verbal confirmation that you have done well, look good, sound good, are good, and so forth?  From where comes this insecurity, this need for confirmation and approval?  It is a tool of the separate self that looks around and compares, that innately feels lesser, unsure, and insecure.

The real you is naught but Love, born of Spirit, a carrier wave of the Power that birthed you and breathes you.  As you become more aware of ego’s choke hold on you, set aside your insecurities and step into your real power.  This does not involve boasting or over-confidence.  Those are also of ego.  This entails a quiet gratitude that allows you to breathe more freely and to see things around you which you had not noticed before in your restricted, self-focused state.  Look around you today and see the Beauty.  You are part of That, so you can relax now.

Abundance

Money is a wonderful tool of the ego.  Why?  Because it is a great separator.  There will always be ways to use money to compare with others:  more or less, better or worse.  When you make comparisons and assign attributes such as “enough” or “not enough” fear comes into play.  Ego loves fear.  Fear keeps you a slave to ego, and for some there is nothing that brings more fear than “not enough.”

When is enough enough?  How much do you need?  Examine your beliefs surrounding money.  How many of them are carried forward from your family history?  How many are learned?  How many serve you?  How many keep you from being free of ego and aligning with your true Self?
Money:  a blessing or a necessary evil or neither?  You give money its meaning.  Which meaning will help you find peace?  As always, the choice is yours.

Costumes

You are all wearing a costume.  Some of you know this, but most do not realize it.  The costume so disguises the real You that you begin to identify with the costume that looks back from the mirror.  When you look upon another, see not the costume, but know that Spirit is the real source of who you see.  Were it not for Love coursing through the veins of that one and of you, you would not be witness to that one.  See beyond the outer cover for the Love that may be hidden.  With new sight comes new perspective.  Change your perspectives, which have become habits, and discover a whole new level of freedom within yourself.

All That Matters

A time to take stock.  That is what this day represents to you in a world in which time holds meaning.  You see your lives in chunks called years.  How would you characterize this one?  Yes, of course we often caution about looking into the past, but we also share that life is for the growth of the soul.  The question that matters at this moment is, did you bring more love into your world in the past chunk of time you call a year?  Remembering that there is no right or wrong, what does your answer compel you to do?  You need not do anything.  You need not think in any certain way.  We merely wish to remind you that Love is all that matters.  Happy New Year.

Note from Suzanne:  I turned on Pandora radio as I sat down here after meditating to type this message from my notepad.  Carrie Underwood was singing a song I’d never heard (“So Small”).  I received such a jolt just now as I heard her sing, “Love is all that matters.”  Thank you, Spirit, for this beautiful confirmation.  May this be the mantra for all of us every day of 2015 and beyond.  Love to all of you …
Lyrics to "So Small" sung by Carrie Underwood":
What you got if you ain't got love
The kind that you just want to give away
It's okay to open up
Go ahead and let the light shine through
I know it's hard on a rainy day
You wanna shut the world out and just be left alone
But don't run out on your faith

'Cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
Is just a grain of sand
And what you've been out there searching for forever
Is in your hands
And when you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else seem so small

It's so easy to get lost inside
A problem that seems so big at the time
It's like a river that's so wide it swallows you whole
While you're sitting around thinking about what you can't change
And worrying about all the wrong things
Time's flying by, moving so fast
You better make it count 'cause you can't get it back

Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
Is just a grain of sand
And what you've been out there searching for forever
Is in your hands
Oh, and when you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else seem
So small, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
Is just a grain of sand
And what you've been out there searching for forever
Is in your hands
And then you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else
Oh, it sure makes everything else seem
So small

Motive

Why do anything at all?  Why get out of bed?  These are not rhetorical questions, but the most important questions you can ask yourself.  Stop before doing anything and ask in each moment, “What is my motive in doing this task?”  If it is to build up your sense of separation from others (the goal of ego), please realize that this may be a habitual thought pattern that can be broken if you are interested in your soul’s growth.

So, what is a motive worth acting upon?  Any, if it leads to soul growth, but the optimal motive is simply, “for the experience of it … to be love and to love.”  Do you see how simple it is?  But this takes awareness rather than sleepwalking through life.  If you are going to get out of bed, you might as well choose wisely.

Closer

“I want, I want” … two words which can take you farther and farther from peace  They are intricately connected with the thought, “I need.”  Be careful of these thoughts, for they are all part and parcel of the illusion of separation.  As you awaken and come to realize your true nature, you realize how easily needs are met.  It is the human who thinks it needs and therefore wants more, more, more.  How much is enough?  When do you “arrive”?

Basic needs are always met.  Your most basic need is love, but you are already That.  It is the human who fears and suffers from perceived lack.  Want nothing.  Need nothing.  This is a high level of mastery, but even a few steps in this direction will lead you closer to Home, to Love.

Beloved

All are loved equally in the eyes of God.  Do not waste a single breath feeling unworthy or unlovable.  Guilt is a necessary learning tool, but do not allow your past actions to make you feel less than any other.  Use them instead to propel you to make higher choices in the present moment.  You are loved.  It can be no other way, for you arise from the Source of All Love and are sustained by that Love.  When you fail to recognize this, you cut yourself off from this Source, but only in one direction.  Love flows to you and through you at all times, but it is you who allows yourself to feel it from within and without.

All are loved equally.  Looking about you, you can see how the human experience distorts this Truth.  Bring the Truth back into focus and be loved, Beloved.

Special

What is the greatest challenge facing you and all of mankind?  Your sense of separation.  You fail to see that there is only one Source and one Vibration that connects you.  There is only one Mind and one thing that matters … Love.  Of course, failing to see this is one of the main rules of your current reality, for if all of you suddenly had your vision restored, there would be nothing left to learn and no growth would take place.  And so, because evolution of the soul is the purpose of all life, urging you ever closer toward unity with your Source, you will stumble about not realizing that you have no need to boast or judge or fear.  All of these actions arise from ignorance of your unity.  All of these hold you prisoners of separation.

See yourself not as special, which separation wishes you to do, but see yourself and all others as Special (with a capital S)  because you are a manifestation of the one Mind, of Spirit.  Each of you has gifts of the Spirit which it will serve you and others well to use, but these do not make you any more special than any so-called “other.”  All are Special.  Celebrate All of You.

Never Alone

Do you often feel that you are alone, even in a sea of people?  Oh, little one, you simply need to go inside.  How many suffer years and years not knowing that you have constant companions who are exactly the kind most dream of … wonderful listeners who judge you not, excellent teachers who share only when you are ready, friends who love you without condition.  Why have you been unaware of these friends until now?  You have been looking around you, not within … within the greater Mind of which you are a part, within the loving Heart which makes up all that is.

Set the intention of kindling a new and greater relationship with your team of unseen Helpers and spend time regularly in the silence.  We are excited for you.  This is the start of something wonderful and the end of fear and loneliness.  Welcome Home.
