What Others Think

A silly picture or any number of things triggers embarrassment.  Embarrassment is of the ego.  The soul knows only love.  Of what are you worried?  What others will think.  Where did you learn to think like that?  In this question lie two keys to your discomfort.  In the first is the word “learn.”  Embarrassment is learned behavior.  Are indigenous peoples embarrassed by their naked skin?  Why are you?  This is learned behavior.  The second key lies in the word “think.”  Thinking is of the ego.  The soul, based in the heart, knows feeling, not thinking, but feelings of love.  Lesser feelings are born of thinking.  We believe you most likely get our drift by now.  You can drift between embarrassment and peace, between ego and soul, between shackles and freedom any time you would like in your world of time.  Isn’t it about time you put what others think aside and simply focus on what really matters?

A Change in View

Are you stuck and cannot see a way out of your predicament?  Rise above for the soul’s eye view.  When you are zoomed in on your issues alone, you often fail to see the other opportunities.  Who else is involved?  Who else can help you?  Are you indeed stuck, or are there other choices?  There always are, but they often involve change, something most humans shy away from.  If you are ill at ease and seek peace, then change is necessary.  If you are unhappy and seek peace, then change is the answer.  Is change so bad?  Often the fear of it is worse than the actuality.  Fear … your greatest obstacle to peace.  Rise above and study the choices.  Study them well until you are so familiar with them that change is a welcome next step.  Have no fear.  Peace lies just around the bend.

Letting Go

When you become impatient with another, this is an indication of expectations on your part.  You are expecting them to be as you are.  But why should they be?  To what end?  To please you?  To have your experiences?  Are you beginning to see how the human mind works?  Can you release expectations?  If so, what is the result for you?  Peace.

We understand why you might want others to have certain experiences.  Perhaps you do know best.  But perhaps the other has their own lessons to learn.  Can you be at peace with that?  All are here to learn lessons.  Help another stay out of harm’s way, by all means, but there comes a point when even that is not your role.  All are here to learn and grow, including you.  Release expectations about others whilst helping to the best of your ability and find peace.

Growing Up

Childhood issues can remain in the energy field well into adulthood.  Some humans take them to the grave and beyond, even to the point of bringing them back to battle with them for another lifetime.  Did you know that carrying them around is unnecessary?  Once a lesson is learned, it can be seen with gratitude and transmuted into higher vibrations.  There are those who were mistreated.  Others were abandoned.  We will not go into the myriad ways humans do a disservice to one another, but in carrying the vibration of victimhood forward, you are perpetuating the legacy and doing a disservice to the self and to the Self.

Are you aware of how you were mistreated and how that is affecting you now?  That is the first step.  Now are you willing to change?  To stop the abuse of yourself?  It only takes a moment of recognition of this, the greatest opportunity of your life … to change the pattern.  How do your childhood hurts show up in your life today?  It is time to leave the things and ways of your childhood behind and step into your true power.  One before you may have wielded anger or another such low vibration, but you now have the opportunity to wield the only power that transmutes all beneath it … Love.  Isn’t it time?

Sticky or Smooth

Fly paper or Teflon?  Which do you resemble most when others accuse you of something or apply labels to you?  When lower vibrations which do not serve you enter into your energy field, do you allow them to stick or to roll off?  If they stick, how long until you discard them?  Do you realize the choice is completely up to you?  Nothing sticks to spirit, not even the good vibrations, for there is no good or bad, simply “being” … being love.  What a way to live … unaffected by vibrations around you.  Again it comes back to awareness of who you are.  You are temporarily in a human suit, which can be sticky or smooth.  You choose the suit you are wearing, but it is changeable.  Which one suits you better?

Are You There Yet?

As a child you rode in the back seat of the car and asked, “Are we there yet?”  And in focusing on the destination, you missed the scenery along the way.  Are you there yet?  Where are you trying to go?  What if your vehicle should stall here and now?  Could you be content, or is what lies ahead so appealing to you that you can focus on nothing else?

What if we were to tell you that life is all about the ride?  There is nowhere to go, simply one scene after another unfolding right before your eyes.  Are you missing them by continuously asking, “Are we there yet?”  Pull over at the rest stop if you’d like, for the journey is eternal.  Rest a while, and while you do, have a look around and see what you have been missing.

The place you have been so anxious to arrive at has been in the seat with you all along.  That urge to go, go, go is actually an urge to be, be, be.  Be what?  Be awake.  To remember.  Remember what?  That love is all there is, and you are that.  To feel love, give love.  Aha.  The car has arrived.  Welcome Home.

Living a Double Life

There is more to your world than meets the eye.  The light that meets the eye is but one sliver of the light in existence.  How you limit yourselves when you think that if you cannot see it, that it does not exist.  Who is it that you are hearing as you read these words?  You cannot see us, yet we have given you far too many synchronicities, far too many direct answers to your questions in times of need to not trust that we are here.  Yet, can you see us?  Most cannot.

Trust the eyes as far as they can take you, and then go a step farther.  And then take another step.  In taking these steps you are entering a new world of possibilities that has been there all along.  “Hello,” you say, “Is there someone there?  Can you help me?”  And now you can begin to truly live in both worlds.

Living a double life is not all cloak and daggers like your spy movies.  It is an expanded way of learning, and growing, and getting to know yourself as both human and spirit, and most of all, as Love.

All for One

Do nothing at the expense of another.  This is quite challenging for the human being who is ruled by the ego.  The ego sees only separation.  He or she thinks of the self only and takes actions that are self-centered.  “Every man for himself” is the motto that points directly to ego.  There is little soul growth in such an attitude, for the spiritual path is all about the journey from ego to oneness.  Oneness sees all as part of a whole, made up of countless souls.  These souls are not separate, but comprised of the same indivisible Source-energy.  “Every man for himself” becomes “Every soul for the whole” and then taking an action that would cause harm, discomfort, or even inconvenience without agreement from another becomes unthinkable.

Rainy Days

You wish for every day to be sunny, but life is not like that.  Into each life some rain must fall.  Bring to mind that special scent just after the rain when all has been cleansed.  What you saw as a curse was actually a blessing, come to wash away impurities.

What is it that needs to be cleansed in your emotions?  The Universe will conspire to show you.  Pain is a sign that there is something within you in need of cleansing.  Pain is your rain, come to show you the way to the sun.  You can put up an umbrella and cry, “But I do not want to get wet!  I enjoy being dry and comfortable just as I am!”  or you can stand in the downpour, face the pain, and be free.
