Rays

Rays of sunlight break through the clouds, catching your attention, so striking are they.  Dark clouds come to all at some point in the human existence.  The rays of light are those unencumbered by the clouds.  They shine through like the sun to lift those in need.  At times you will be in the shadows and at times the roles will be reversed and you will be the ray of light for one whose turn it is to receive.

Never forget that the eternal Light burns within at all times, but in your human incarnation you will experience clouds as well as sunshine.  Never fear that you are alone.  Look for the rays of sunshine.  They come in many forms … sent to you as the answer to prayers—yours and those of others—for strength and courage to carry on.  Blessings be these rays of light.  Blessings be upon you.

Special

All are Special.  Remember this and allow it to seep into your consciousness at the human level.  May competition become a foreign concept.  May comparisons cease when it comes to good, better, or worse.  There is no need for this, only for ego’s sake.  Ego is the one who shouts, “Look at me!  Please!”  And do you feel the desperation?  He tries to make you think that you need love.  That is always the bottom line for all of you.  The baby learns to cry and compete for attention.  Who has the loudest lungs, the sweetest smile?  And so it continues.  But beyond the cries and acting lies a beautiful soul who already knows the truth:  you are Love.  You always have been.  You and those around you have forgotten this when you fall into the trap of making comparisons.  Look only within, and judge not.  Simply turn up the love for all others, and the needs will slip away.

Free

Ah, yes.  You set a goal for yourself.  Perhaps you were going to eat certain food in certain amounts for a certain number of days and you did not do so.  Perhaps you were going to change a lifelong habit and you fell back into your old ways.  And what happened?  You fell back into your old ways of thinking badly of yourself.  Habits, habits, habits.  What are they?  Patterns of behavior.  And what are you?  A pattern of energy, here to learn and grown and to learn and grow to love.

Can you love yourself—this pattern of energy you call “you” just the way you are without changing your patterns of behavior?  Ah, yes.  There’s the question.  It may be difficult for you to do when you see with your human eyes.  So, shift to seeing with the eyes of the soul, which understands human behavior and patterns.  There you will find compassion for the human side.  There you will find understanding and patience.  There you will be free of shoulds and incriminations … free to simply be love as you look at your human self with the understanding that you are perfect just the way you are, you beautiful soul.

In Memoriam

What is a memorial, but a way of remembering, of keeping something or someone dear in the memory.  Every moment can thus be a memorial moment.  As you pause today to remember and memorialize your fallen ones, we honor all of you.  The true hardship is for those left behind to soldier on.  Death is not a tragedy for those who have passed, but simply a new chapter.  Mourn not your fallen ones, but celebrate Life and Love.  That is what you miss, but it is still there, most especially as you memorialize a being, bringing them to your heart, where they live on always.

Yes, honor those who have passed.  You call it a sacrifice, and yes, it is, but rest assured that your loved ones who died in service salute YOU for your sacrifice.  Can you feel the love they send to you … in memoriam?  Love goes on, and your memories ensure that your loved ones remain close, making every day memorial day.

Wispy

The question is so often asked, “Do we reincarnate?”  And the answer is a qualified yes.  Aspects do, yes.  The real you has no form.  The human thinks in terms of identifiable, separate forms.  That form-like aspect of you does not come back again so that you would recognize it walking down the street.  Yes, we see you smiling at this silly concept.  And so we smile as well when you worry that one you love who has passed will reincarnate before you get to join them and so will be lost to you.  You need not worry (about anything, ever).  Consciousness is an energy form, and it is true what you are taught:  Energy cannot be created or destroyed, merely transformed.

You and the one who has died are Aspects of Consciousness ... Aspects of Greater Consciousness.  When in human form, the Aspect of Consciousness takes on certain characteristics which result in the soul’s growth.  This is the point of human existence:  adding to the Whole.  After you have added what we hope is more Love to the Whole, a bit of the Whole of You may decide to go back and take on form yet again for yet more growth.  Those aspects that were you do not completely gel into one form and become lost to those who once loved you.  No, the Aspect of Consciousness that was you will always, yes, always remain recognizable as the Aspect of Consciousness known as you, even when bits (if formless energy can be referred to as bits) of the Greater You are now off having another experience as a human for the growth of it.

Do you see?  Fear not.  There is only Love, only Being, only One Mind, and billions of aspects of That.  Love never dies.  It merely goes round and round, growing ever brighter, ever stronger as you, and you, and you, and you.

Well and Good

Groveling … begging … what do these connote?  Desperation.  A lack of trust.  A lack of remembering what you have forgotten, either in the moment or over the years:  that you are spirit … divine at your essence, or you would not be breathing.  The greatest Power that exists breathes through you and as you.  Need you grovel or beg for anything?  Beware of conceit.  This Power has neither humility nor pride.  It simply is.  Is what?  Presence.  Being.  Love.

Does this make sense to you?  If not, sit in the silence until you feel the fullness of nothingness, and then you will know that at your core you lack nothing, have everything, and are enough.  You always have and always will have and be enough, for Presence is everywhere and everything, and you are That.  Trusting That, knowing the self as That, you need never again plead or beg, but surrender into the knowing that all is ultimately well.

Empowered

Be aware of rituals.  They can be as much of a crutch as special objects or any other item outside of yourself to which you give power.  When you do so, you forget that the Power lies within you.  Anything external is simply icing—at times sweet, but unnecessary.

Think about your rituals and props.  Does the idea of being without them strike fear in your heart?  What have we told you about that heart?  It is the greatest gauge of Truth.  Fear in this area indicates misalignment with Truth.  The Force truly is always with you.  If you attempt to give it away (which is impossible) by focusing on external things, you are merely doing your Self a disservice.

Love vs. Fear

Love is all that matters.  This may seem a nonsensical statement to those who are worried about putting food on the table and paying bills.  This we understand.  What we wish you to understand is that there are two ways with which to view your life:  as a human, who basks in fears, and as a soul, whose true Home is Love.  Yes, it is true from a human standpoint that Love will not pay your bills, but neither will fear. Being in a state of peace where you know yourself as an aspect of the Presence, which is Love, will allow you to see the temporal nature of each human situation and see new solutions.

Learn to shift perspective from human to spirit, from fear to peace born of Love, and the bills will be paid, for you will find innovative ways of changing your life.  We give you this one example, but the ways in which your life improves when you learn to rise above fear and see from the eyes of the soul, which is Love-based, are limitless as your life flows in new and unforeseen ways.

Pointing

Every time you point a finger, three of your own point back at you.  There is great truth in this, if you allow yourself to see.  We do not intend to shame you, only to bring awareness of how ego works, that impertinent fellow.  It is far easier to point out another’s faults than to admit that you are human, too.  We wish you to take note the next time you point a finger how soon thereafter you do the self-same thing of which you accused another.

This is a testing ground in which you live and play.  Experiment all you like, for that is why you are here, but be cautious as you point out other’s faults.  They are merely playing as well.

Without Judgment

Shed the “shoulds” … our advice for the day.  In your human world, nothing will bring you more quickly to dissonance and misalignment with the spirit than the world “should.”  It leads immediately to judgment of another, which is of the ego and speaks to separation.  Using “should” states with the certainty based upon belief that your way is best.  How do you know?  From your experience perhaps it is, but the other is here for their own life lessons and experiences.  Should (and you will notd the use of the word “should”) all others think and act as you do?  This is righteousness.  You may know it all, but are you here to take away another’s lessons, or to continue growing yourself?  Shed the shoulds and you will find that the focus only on your own growth is far more peaceful.
