Before Your Eyes

Seize this moment to create a dream.  Seize this moment to see it as true.  What are you waiting for?  Do you think all pieces must fall into place before you can believe that your dream is possible?  The pieces fall into place when you see the dream as possible.  Your dream need not be of tremendous proportion.  It may be a small secret you have been holding inside, silently wishing it were true about you.  Seize the moment and bring that dream to the front of your mind.  See it before your eyes.  Feel it and own it.  This is how dreams are created.  They go nowhere when you hold them as a future projection.  They happen when you seize them as your reality now.

The Perfect Mix

You attract into your life exactly what and who you need for the greatest learning.  We are not speaking of doing so through your wishes, which does happen, but at a subtle level through the Law of Balance.  Opposites attract is another way of saying this.  Of course, you also have those who are quite complementary to you in vibration to help amplify the strengths you possess.  As we stated: all for a reason.  Like a recipe with the perfect ingredients, each person in your life adds the perfect mix to the stew that is you.  When the mix gets a bit overpowered with one flavor, perhaps it is time for a change.  The soul knows, and circumstances will unfold to correct the seasoning just right.

Look around you at the people in your life and see what you have attracted to you.  What are you learning?  What are you refusing to see?

Beyond the Veil

Why do people stop and stare at rainbows?  They bring out the awareness, if only at a subtle level, that there is more to reality than meets the eye.  One moment you are looking at a clear blue sky, and the next you are seeing a swath of brilliant colors painted in an arc before you.  What causes this appearance?  Is it real?  As real as you are.  But is it solid?  No.  A thing need not be solid to be real, nor need it be visible to make it real.

Your loved ones who have passed, along with the angels and the masters, are as real and as present as the rainbow.  You cannot make a rainbow appear any more than you can make the veil disappear to see your loved ones.  The veil lifts when it does by grace, just as the rainbow appears when conditions are right, giving you a glimpse of reality that shifts your reality.  Until it does so, we send you rainbows as reminders that all is not as it seems.  Your loved ones are not gone forever.  They are just beyond the veil of illusion, their lessons here completed as yours continue.  Make the most of your time here, won’t you?

Reality

What is reality?  That upon which you are focused and take as your current experience in any given moment.  You say that perception is reality, and this is true, but do not fall into the trap of believing that what you perceive is the only reality.  Change the way you perceive reality and your reality changes.  This is true mentally, as you may know.  If you change your thoughts to more beneficial ones, then your reality becomes more enjoyable, and the opposite is true as well.  If you put on a pair of 3 dimensional glasses, your physical reality changes, and so on.  Do you see?  Reality is changeable.  Do not become so fixed, so set in your ways, that you block out possible learning opportunities and alternative experiences with which to experiment.  That is why you are here:  for the joy of experimenting and the growth that results from it.

You

The center of attention.  This is what most humans secretly crave to be.  Why is this?  Because each of you is a focus of Consciousness, the center of which is you.  But there is more than you in existence.  There is you, and you, and you, and you … all having experiences for the growth of the soul.  Move your attention away from what you falsely perceive as the only center in existence and you will discover the intricate links between the perceived centers.  With this shift in perspective, you will see that the center of all of the you’s make up one limitless, boundless You.  Imagine how much you can learn, experience, and enjoy if and when you take the focus off of you and focus on You.

Engaged

When you sit in the back of the room, you are disengaged, and there is a reason.  When you walk to the front of the class, you are fully engaged, sending out a message to yourself and all others:  “I am interested in what is going on.  I am here for the full experience.  Count me in.”

Where do you sit in the classroom of life:  in the back, going through the motions, or in the front row, fully engaged, here to get the most out of every moment?  A simple shift is all it takes, but you must be the one to get up and change your seat.

Through the Trees

You are expecting bells and whistles on your journey.  You want to have apparitions and great experiences when you sit to meditate.  When these things fail to happen you are disappointed, looking for the big events, which are actually small things.  You are missing the big picture, which includes the small things.  As a result of your meditative practice, do you notice how your patience grows, and your intuition increases, and your stress goes down?  These gifts may appear to you so subtly that you fail to notice.  Add them together and compare them with your past behavior, and lo!  There is your miracle!  There is your “big thing.”  “Do not lose the forest through the trees” is a wise statement.  Enjoy the entire journey, the big and small events—most especially the latter, for every moment counts.

Surrender

The act of surrender shows the utmost of strength.  To overcome ego’s will and the human belief that one must always be in charge requires fortitude unknown to many.  What is this act that says, “I am not in charge here.  I release the need to do it all, to have things my way, and to be in control?”  It is not weakness, but a display of immense power.  Do you see the paradox?  In surrendering the human aspects of Self, you are showing that you know there is another side of you.  Surrender the need to have all the answers, to know how this unseen side works, and you will come to know it.  How do you surrender?  You close your eyes or turn them skyward and say, “Lead me.  Guide me.  Show me what to do next.”  It is that simple.

In Trust

Trust is a beautiful thing.  It leads you to step out with confidence and take on tasks which otherwise you might not undertake.  It leads you to lean on others you might not otherwise ask for assistance.  Why do you fail to trust?  For you have done so in the past and met with less than optimal results.  Ah, that is why trust will always carry a choice.  This is when you learn to trust in that sixth sense … in the guidance of the heart, and to act on it.  The more you do so, the more your faith is buttressed until doubt becomes knowing, and trust becomes full faith and trust that your thoughts and actions are guided.  What a beautiful way to live.  Do so, and so it is.

The Sixth "Scent"

The gift of smell … one of your physical senses, but one through which Spirit can speak.  You are drawn to the beauty of a rose --the flower of love -- by sight, but in taking that extra step, you can enjoy its pleasant aroma as well.  The gift need not always be pleasant to be a gift.  You may be repelled by an odor and know to stay away from something which may harm you.  And what of the gift of a scent when no thing or person is apparently present?  Suddenly, the familiar perfume of a loved one who has passed or the smoke from a dear father’s cigar fills the nose.  How does this happen?  It is not magic.  It is merely the creation of a specific frequency that triggers a memory, and in so doing, sends you a message:  “I AM here, my love.  I have never left you.”

You have a saying:  “The nose knows.”  Spirit knows what you need at all times and sends gifts for the nose as a small reminder that Love is the essence of all that is.
