Why keep praying?
You and I are continually reminded how important it is for us to pray, especially when our prayers are not answered when we want them to be; and when this happens, we have a tendency to pray less and less, instead of more, until we rarely do or don't do anymore. Believe it or not, He does hear your every prayer. For He is your "refuge" and "strong tower" (Psalm 61:2). So, just as David did, you, too, can call to Him "as [your] heart grows faint" and ask him to "lead [you] to the rock that is higher than [yourself]" (61:2). #NeverStop #Petitioning #Protesting & #Praying #YourPrayersWillBeAnswered

How well hydrated are you?
As water is essential and critical to your survival, there are still moments when you need more than just the required water that your body needs to keep it functioning properly and well hydrated. It is only when you ask Him that he will give you a drink of His living water and quench your thirst, just as He did for the Samaritan woman at the well (see John 4:5-7, 17-18). So, if you are still thirsty, might you just ask, hydrate yourself and then offer and share a drink of it with others. #NeverGoThirstyAgain

How do you view, as well as reflect, humility?
A weakness, never. A strength, absolutely. No action goes unnoticed or unpunished, when humility is not at the root of every intention. Exemplifying humility, in every possible way, is a man who "humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-even death on a cross!" (Philippians 2:8). Boastfulness and arrogance come at a price; but when you become "a servant" and "humble [yourself]" (2:6-8), as He did, you will be rewarded for your virtuous behavior. #BeHumbleToday & #EveryDay

How well protected is your heart?
Both vital and vulnerable, the heart needs protection, in order to survive and thrive. Helping you to better shield your heart is found in Proverbs. You are instructed, "above all else, [to] guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (4:23). When you listen to Him, he will "keep your foot away from evil" (4:27). For His wisdom will always take care of your heart. Might you consider becoming more heart conscious. #WiseWords = #AHealthyHeart

How do you determine which traditions to keep?
For many, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to let go of traditions, especially ones that do not serve them or others well. For such set ways, the "we have always done it this way" traditions, can cause you to lose sight of what is truly necessary and needed. Revealing and responding to human traditions comes in the book of Mark. Jesus remarked to the Pharisees and said: "You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions" (7:8). Therefore, when certain traditions no longer serve you or others well, might you look to improve them so that they do. #New & #ImprovedTraditions

How powerful is prayer?
Prayer is one of the most powerful and effective means of being heard and helped. Whether you are searching for support, strength or fighting "against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesian 6:12), there is no better weapon to have than prayer. For He encourages you to "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests" (6:18); because, no matter how may or how often, He hears and will answer everyone of them. #AlwaysPrayerful
