How can we honor and celebrate Him?

We can do many things to honor and celebrate the Lord; and one of those is by taking communion. Taking communion represents His sacrifice and hope for his promised return. So, "whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, [might] you [remember to] proclaim the Lord's death until he comes" (1 Corinthians 11:26). #Honor & #CelebrateHim

What pressure(s) have you placed on yourself? & How well do you handle the pressure?

Many place a great deal of pressure on themselves; and in doing so, set themselves up for failure and potentially lose themselves along the way. In order to maintain and continue to be and stay within yourself and abilities, might you remind yourself that "whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord" (Colossians 3:23). When you stay true to yourself and your abilities, you will not put undue stress and strain on yourself to be someone you are not. With time and experience, it will all work out. Trust the process and Him. #HaveRealisticExpectations & #MaintainAHealthyOutlook

How can you avoid trouble?

Trouble looms around every corner; and if we are not aware, we might just find ourselves in it. In order to stay away from trouble, we are guided to "flee the evil desires...and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart" (2 Timothy 2:22). Might you heed the warning. #Turn & #Run

How hospitable are you?

It takes very little to be hospitable to others; and when we do so, we see that our world is not as big as it seems because of the connections among the people of this world, along with Christ himself. Matthew reminds us that "anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me" (10:40). So, if it is friendship you seek, might you be more welcoming and hospitable to others. #ItPaysToBeNice & #YouCanNeverHaveTooMany

What do you need?

When considering asking someone for something, might you first ask yourself "What do you have in your house?" (2 Kings 4:2), just as Elisha asked of a poor widow in need (see 4:1-4). In doing so, you may already have the means, as did the widow, necessary to take care of your needs. #TakeStock

How real and true are you? Paul reminds us of what it is to be ourselves and a friend to another in need. We are to “love [our] neighbor as [our]self” (Romans 13:9); and “let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another” (13:8). So, might you strive to be such a person. #BeThatFriend❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthierLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

How do you deal with dark moments? At any given time, we are all susceptible to dark and difficult days, hours and seasons. It is in these dark moments that we can reach out, in prayer, to ask the “LORD [to] preserve [our] life; in [his] righteousness, bring [us] out of trouble” (Psalm 143:11). If you allow Him to do so, he will bring you back into the light. #DigDeep❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

What is the crush trying to tell you? The cross has the ability to speak to people. For Paul, “the message of the cross is…the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18); and with this power, the cross also provides love, sacrifice, hope, strength, wisdom and so much more. Might you consider listening. #Listen #Learn & #LeanOn❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

How can you avoid offending another? For the most part, we do not look to offend others; and if we do so, it is by accident. It is when we take the time to learn and educate ourselves, just like Josiah did, by learning the law and then “renew[ing] the covenant in the presence of the LORD” (2 Kings 23:3), so that we can avoid being offensive. Might you consider doing so. #GrowInKnowledge & #Etiquette❤️ #ANWadvocatingforhealthyliveshomesandworkenvironments

How wasteful are you?

It is tough to see anything of value, in particular food, go to waste; because there are those who are going hungry and do not have the means or resources to buy it. With a situation as such, we are encouraged, if we can, to offer our "plenty" so that we can "supply what they need" (2 Corinthians 8:14). When we do so, there will be less waste and we will be able to help those in need. You just never know when you, too, might need help. #WasteNotWantNot & #ShareTheLeftovers
