How can you avoid offending another? For the most part, we do not look to offend others; and if we do so, it is by accident. It is when we take the time to learn and educate ourselves, just like Josiah did, by learning the law and then “renew[ing] the covenant in the presence of the LORD” (2 Kings 23:3), so that we can avoid being offensive.
