Konnichiwa to my first translated work
Whaaat? I know, right?
Late last year I was approached by a representative from a Japanese literary zine called LETTERS UNBOUND, enquiring about my short story published in The Law of Consequences fantasy anthology.
Their next issue is scheduled for release this May with a “FOOD” theme, and guess what… they’ll be including The Sand Witch’s Sandwich translated into Japanese!
I am so chuffed this story will be reaching readers I never imagined it could. And I’m sure Ellie would be pleased...

A truly disreputable bunch of wrongdoers! I’ll be joining Charity Norman, Cynric Temple-Camp, and Stephen Johnson on an author panel in Whanganui. It’d be great to have you join us for what I’m sure will be a very entertaining evening.
The event is part of the Mystery in the Library series being held across the motu in the build up to the Ngaio Marsh Awards later in the year. Each will feature a panel of local authors discussing crime, mystery, writing, publishing, and plenty more I’m sure.
