कब तक वो किताबो वाला इश्क़ करू तुमसे?
अब है तेरी बारी, मुक्कम्मल कर मेरे ख्वाब
चाहे फिर क्यों न करनी पड़े जंग तुजे उसे रब से ही आज।

ये भीगी बारिश से जैसे नफरत सी हुई हैं,
तू ही कहता था, तेरे बिना मेरा अस्तित्व नहीं
तो अब ये तू ही बता, तेरे बिना मैं खोकली बन_

सुन आज कोई बात नहीं करते हैं
तेरे फिर से डूब जाने की बात नहीं करते हैं,
तेरे, हर शाम के बाद वह बदलते हुए चाँद के पास जाने की बात नहीं करते हैं
तुजे यु किसी से बाटने की बात नहीं करते हैं,
हमारे कभी न मिल पाने की बात नहीं करते हैं
सुन ना, आज कोई बात नहीं करते हैं,
तू तो मनचला डूब कर फिर उभर आता हैं
और में बावरी न जाने किन अंद्देरो के नशे में डूबती चली जाती हू।

तुम कहते नहीं पर मुझपे मरते ज़रूर हो
तुम थकते नहीं पर मुझे ख्वाबो में देखने को थोड़ी देर सोते जरूर हो,
तुम्हारे होठों पे सजी इबादत में, मैं हूँ
तुम्हारे सीने में छिपी वो सुकून की चाह में, मैं हूँ,
तुम कहते नहीं पर रातो से नफरत तुम्हे भी हैं
तुम कहते नहीं यार, पर मेरी वो हर अनकही बात से प्यार तुम्हे भी है।

एक नयी उम्र मांग के लायी हूँ मैं वापिस
एक और सांज तेरे साथ गुज़ारने आयी थी मैं हाफ़िज़,
कुछ चंद आरज़ू में निकल गए
कुछ तेरे इंतज़ार में,
रेहम थोड़ी कर- तेरे जाने के बाद कल तू फिर चला आएगा
मैं चल गयी तो मेरा खोया वक़्त फिर कहा आएगा।

जो तुम ना माने तो उनसे भी सिफारिश तय कर ली,
देखो अब ये रूठना मनाना नहीं चलेगा
बिना कहे वाला इसरार अब नहीं चलेग।

A Discourse In Distortion

An infinite jigsaw puzzle
With distorted edges and a path of struggles
No end in sight
No pieces fit
I haven't found my own solution
My failure, my only remission
No answers, no sense, no meaning
Only a delusion, a small chaos
Why should be things easy to understand? 
A puzzle in piece
Or a piece in a puzzle
I am an unasked question
With these broken fragments have I walked thus far
With few more of them I intend to fly just a little more far.
