Duke University's Elizabeth Williams on being the 4th Pick in the WNBA Draft

Three-time All-American and three-time ACC Defensive Player of the Year Elizabeth Williams was drafted by the Connecticut Suns with the 4th selection in the 2015 WNBA. Williams, who graduates in May, majored in Psychology and was a two time All-ACC Academic Team honoree.

Kehinde Wiley Talks "A New Republic"

Kehinde Wiley: A New Republic , now at the Brooklyn Museum, raises questions about race, gender, and the politics of representation by portraying contemporary African American men and women using the conventions of traditional European portraiture. The exhibition, which runs from February 20 - May 24, 2015, includes an overview of the artist’s prolific fourteen-year career and features sixty paintings and sculptures.

Komunyakaa is Global Distinguished Professor of English, New York University. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1994. His most recent book of poetry is The Chameleon Couch (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2012).
