Five of Pentacles (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day
When the Five of Pentacles appears in a reading, it is important to consider where you may be experiencing poverty consciousness in your life.Poverty is not just a financial condition one suffers; it is a pervasive state of mind. "How am I going to pay for this?" "If I don't give him more money for the hundredth time it will be my fault if something bad happens?" "I wish I could just get lucky and win the lottery." "I'm just not good with money." "When can I get out of this debt?" "Why am I so worthless?" "Why don't they appreciate me?"
These are all examples of poverty consciousness. Even rich people can get stuck in poverty consciousness. This is because poverty is not actually about money. It's really about self-esteem.
It is important to recognize that poverty consciousness is a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you focus on lack and scarcity, you attract more of it into your life. The more you worry about money and resources, the less you feel like you have. This can create a vicious cycle that is hard to break out of.

Do you feel confident enough to put up boundaries with others?Do you ever feel that success is granted to everybody else but continues to elude you? Are you adequately compensated for the work you do? Do you value yourself and the services you provide? Do you need to get a new job?
The people depicted on the Five of Pentacles have fallen on hard times. They are sick and injured. Behind them is a cathedral, emitting warmth and glowing with light. The poor folks on the card don’t even think to enter. They are rejected “untouchables.” The feel they are on the outside. They truly don’t consider themselves as worthy of a place inside. They have allowed poverty consciousness to enter their hearts. Once this belief is let in, it’s challenging to cast it out.
In ancient Greece the Goddess of Poverty was named Penia. This Goddess would wander from house to house, much like the vagabonds on the card. Penia would bang on the doors of everyone until someone without boundaries let her in. Once Penia was in the house, it was so difficult to get her to leave. She would constantly make the occupants feel obligated, worthless and guilty. Penia stayed indefinitely until the individual took back their home by casting her out. In this case, the home is a symbol for one’s heart.
The Five of Pentacles alerts you to any person or situation that seeks to make you feel less than.Giving to others and being of service must be done with boundaries. The old saying: "Give a man a fish feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him a lifetime," encapsulates this truth.
There is one force on the planet that can eradicate poverty consciousness: Self-Esteem. When you feel smart, capable, competent, and confident you know your self-worth. If an individual feels worthy, poverty consciousness cannot gain a foothold. Unscrupulous individuals can't "use" people who are strong in their sense of self-worth. Users and manipulators are like predators. They go for the weakest one when hunting for a sucker. It’s time to create strong boundaries.
Know your worth and value. Stop giving yourself away if you are running on empty. Put up boundaries with needy individuals. Speak up for yourself! Help others only if they are helping themselves. Go for your best opportunities.
Five of Pentacles in a Love ReadingNew RelationshipThe Five of Pentacles warns of one partner not being completely self-sufficient, financially, or emotionally. This can manifest into a needy relationship dynamic where one partner uses guilt or head games to secure their emotional needs. This card will also warn you not to approach a new relationship like a starving dog, needy for affection. Maintain your dignity and know your worth!
Long Term PartnershipThe Five of Pentacles can indicate a relationship subsisting on starvation rations. It’s time for both partners to recommit equal love and effort if the union is to survive. This card can also highlight a major financial problem which is negatively impacting the health of the relationship. Identify what the “energy wasters” are in your partnership and eliminate them.
Seeking RomanceIf you are single, the Five of Pentacles advises you to raise your standards and keep them high. Don’t listen to people that tell you that you are being too picky. Wasting your time with someone who is not meeting your standards is just that: a waste of time. Second best will never be enough. Raise the bar.

Queen of Cups (Reversed) | Tarot Card
When the Queen of Cups appears reversed in a tarot reading, it can indicate that you are passing through life without truly allowing yourself to feel or experience it.All of your rites of passage, your achievements, and your self-improvements need to be acknowledged and felt at this time. The Queen of Cups encourages you to honor your feelings, and reminds you that your feelings give your life meaning, awareness, and colorful vibrancy. Today, don't "blank out" while doing tasks on autopilot. Stop once in a while, and be present with the beauty that surrounds you. Acknowledge yourself, love yourself, and appreciate yourself for the work you do every day to improve your life, and the lives of others.

It reminds you to be present with your feelings and experiences rather than avoiding or suppressing them. By acknowledging your emotions, you can find deeper meaning and awareness in life.
The Queen of Cups reversed also calls for self-compassion and self-appreciation. Acknowledge your accomplishments and personal growth, celebrating each step on your journey. Queen of Cups (Reversed) 👑🌊 for July 23 | Daily Tarot Reading/Card of the Day | Elliot Oracle

YouTube video for the Queen of Cups (Reversed) | Tarot Card of the Day by Elliot Oracle
Do you bottle up your feelings and deny they are even there? Are you uncomfortable with your feelings? Are you afraid to be "open" because someone or something might potentially hurt you?
The Queen of Cups tarot card represents someone who is at peace with their sensitivity and emotions. She encourages others to see the value in their own feelings and views sensitivity as a strength rather than a weakness. The Queen of Cups recognizes that feelings are sacred and give life its vibrant colors, allowing us to experience a range of emotions, including joy, love, excitement, and even pain.
If you struggle to embrace your emotions or find yourself denying them, the Queen of Cups encourages you to honor your feelings and see their worth. She places her own emotions in a precious chalice adorned with angels, recognizing their value and beauty. She reminds us that like beach stones that reveal their vibrancy when placed in water, life can reveal its complexity and richness when we allow ourselves to feel fully.
Many of us are taught to suppress our emotions or view them as a weakness. However, denying our feelings can lead to an imbalance within ourselves and the world around us. The Queen of Cups reminds us that denying our emotions robs us of experiences that can bring us joy and vibrancy in life. By embracing our emotions, we can find beauty in the world around us and activate pleasure-giving dopamines in the brain.
To experience the vibrancy of life, the Queen of Cups encourages us to look for beauty and admire it in all its forms. This can include buying flowers or art, admiring nature, or finding beauty in the seemingly mundane. By opening ourselves to feeling fully, we can find meaning, complexity, and richness in life.
To avoid getting stuck on painful feelings, ask yourself what the feelings may be teaching you at this stage in your life.Opening yourself to feelings can sometimes bring about emotional pain, hurt, or discomfort. These feelings especially need to be felt, honored, and then released. Crying is a good thing, and helps clear blocked emotional energy. This will ensure that difficult emotions don't become bottled up and create problems for you unconsciously. What are you learning from being present with them? To release negative emotions, focus on something beautiful. Allow yourself to let in all of its brilliance. Today, take care of your feelings. Filter out whatever is painful and release it. Choose to focus on beauty, and on life's magic. Stop going through life without feeling it! If you feel stuck, you can always do something for someone else to make them feel good. This always has the added effect of helping your emotions as well. Feelings are very precious! Let them flow. Be at peace with them, and with yourself.
Queen of Cups (Reversed) in a Love ReadingNew RelationshipThe Queen of Cups reversed can represent someone who repeatedly dives into tempestuous relationships, floundering in her (or his) desperate desire to be loved. She avoids learning how to swim, hoping instead for a strong savior to rescue her. By presenting herself as a victim needing rescue, she is continually victimized. Her life can change when she chooses to be empowered.
Long Term PartnershipWhen the Queen of Cups is reversed, she represents someone who is often overwhelmed by their great sensitivity and may need assistance in dealing with feelings. She can also represent a smothering or needy partner in personal relationships. She may need to channel more of the attentive devotion she shows her partner toward herself.
Seeking RomanceSometimes the Queen of Cups appears reversed when your heart has become numb, or you aren’t allowing emotional experiences to sink in. To begin the process of opening your heart, start in environments where you feel safe and protected. It may be time to reconnect with nature, meditate, or allow quiet time to listen within to what will heal old wounds.

The Seven of Cups (Upright) in a Love ReadingNew Relationship (Upright)The Seven of Cups can signify an element of fantasy that makes this union feel magical. However, this card frustratingly reveals that you don’t have all the information yet. It may feel as if there is a confusing fog that is not allowing you to see clearly. Don’t allow the expectations of what you want to see, cloud reality. Stay tethered to your common sense as you proceed. The fantastical nature that the Seven of Cups carries also suggests a fresh, dreamy, and passionate stage of a relationship. It's a time where every moment feels like a fairytale. However, remember that this card also encourages a grounding in reality. While it's perfectly okay to indulge in this newfound love and excitement, it's important not to lose sight of the realities and potential challenges that might surface along the way.
Long Term Partnership (Upright)The Seven of Cups can represent a partner who escapes from reality. It may be difficult to confront serious issues. However, this card is also associated with intense creativity. One partner may dream big but may also struggle with manifesting their goals. They benefit from a relationship partner who creates structure and can see to the details. The dream-like essence of the Seven of Cups can also mean that one or both partners may be dwelling more in their fantasies rather than dealing with the realities of their relationship. The creative energy of this card can be a beautiful thing when it motivates and inspires, but it's also essential to stay grounded and address the practical aspects of life together.
Seeking Romance (Upright)You may not be perceiving reality clearly. Either your greatest hopes or deepest fears have distorted your perspective about love. Place your attention on the practical steps that can be taken, to improve your current situation. This card can also warn you not to project the fantasy of what you want to see on someone you don’t know that well. The Seven of Cups, while it emphasizes the importance of dreams and desires, also cautions against being swept away by unrealistic expectations or illusions. It encourages a careful, grounded approach to seeking love, advising patience, self-awareness, and a realistic outlook on relationships.
Seven of Cups (Reversed) in a Love ReadingNew Relationship (Reversed)This card can represent a partner who succumbs to escapism to an excessive degree. He or she may have an addictive personality and may be predisposed to abuse drugs or alcohol. The Seven of Cups reversed can also warn of a person who gaslights or is unable to face facts. On the flip side, this card can also symbolize the struggle to ground oneself amidst a whirlwind of emotions that come with a new relationship. There might be a tendency to overlook red flags or ignore intuition out of the desire to maintain the relationship, even if it's not beneficial.
Long Term Partnership (Reversed)If you are glimpsing an uncomfortable truth within yourself or your partner, don’t continuously pretend it away. Avoiding relationship issues only makes them compound. Look at the reality of what is happening, not what you are hoping or fearing to see. It’s time to dispel illusions and face facts. This card can signify that you are waking up from an illusion you’ve bought into. The Seven of Cups reversed serves as a wake-up call, urging you to take off the rose-colored glasses and face the facts. It may be a painful process, but in the end, acknowledging and addressing these truths head-on is the first step towards resolution and growth.

YouTube | The Fool (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day
Is there an unrealized dream you still have, but you are too scared to go for it?Are you ever afraid of looking really stupid? Can you laugh at yourself as you haphazardly try to learn something new? The Fool knows what every domesticated cat knows.........that humans are just stupid monkeys. Why should he fret over what others think? People who buy into maintaining an image limit themselves, by a self imposed box to suffocate in. That's not living! The Fool is free to walk openly wherever he dares. He is free. The Fool can never be boxed in, kept, or defined by others. He goes his own path. The Sun is shining and his spirits are up. He is wearing the ugliest pattern this side of creation. It brings him great joy to flaunt it. If he gets happiness from it, that's all that matters. It's not like he's hurting anyone!
The Fool doesn't seem to be paying any attention to possible future calamities. His head is occupied with the thrilling possibilities of the day. Could he be in danger of going over the edge of the cliff? Possibly... but maybe that would be fun....he never actually got to die before... The Fool knows an important secret: Things are never as bad as they might appear. Somehow he always manages to get back up again unscathed. The Universe has a soft spot for fools, and blesses them with the craziest luck.
When the Fool appears, he is calling you toward a new adventure. It's time to escape from the confines of ruts and routines! What do you still dream of doing? What would make your life feel lived? The Fool represents the need for taking risks. Even if others might think you are foolish for trying, it's time to throw your hat in the ring for your dream. Take an action toward your goal and don't overthink it. Just begin and momentum will follow. Leap into the unknown landscape of possibility.
Release your inner-fool, for your heart's desire awaits! Abandon the self consciousness that prevents you from appearing too enthusiastic in public. Release thoughts of "I really should do this." or "What will so-and-so think?" from your consciousness. Learn to laugh at yourself and the world. Remember that after all the work and worry of "crafting an image" for others, you were still a primate. Let go of fears that stem from the ego and over-concern you with how you appear to others. Find the sunny, warm, funny, innocent and optimistic spark that waits deep within you, and set it free! You will be much more fun to be around.
The Fool gleefully whispers his words of wisdom to you: "Let go and cast off your fears of trying, of dying, and of looking stupid. They're cheating you out of the fullness of life."
The Fool in a Love ReadingNew RelationshipThe Fool prefers to bond as a friend first. He can settle into a long-term relationship; however, he needs to feel unrestricted, or he will naturally rebel. There is a “wait and see” quality to this card. Although off to a good beginning, this card will caution that events need to play out a bit more. In the meantime, have fun!
Long Term PartnershipThe Fool can appear when it’s time for a fresh start in a settled partnership. This card will encourage you to create new conditions for intimacy to reawaken. A new goal that both partners can get excited about such as an eagerly anticipated trip, a new home, or a shared interest can bring you closer together.
Seeking RomanceThis card encourages less predictability. The Fool craves newness, lack of restriction and adventure. If you’ve fallen into a slump, it’s time to change-up the energy. The appearance of the Fool encourages travel, new friendships, and exciting new places. The Fool never seems to grow up, and so he could encourage you to be more playful.

The Star (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day
The Star (Upright) | Tarot Card
The Star is a powerful symbol of renewed hope and inspiration that emerges after experiencing turbulent times. It represents the light that shines even in the darkest of moments, reminding us that there is always a glimmer of possibility and a guiding force within us.
In traditional Rider Waite tarot symbolism, The Star depicts a woman by a stream, pouring water from two pitchers into the water and onto the land. This act of pouring represents the flow of divine energy and spiritual nourishment. The Star encourages us to connect with our higher selves, our true essence, and to align with the eternal part of our spirit.
By embracing the energy of The Star, we are invited to tap into our inner wisdom and follow our true path. It reminds us to have faith in ourselves and trust in the unfolding of our journey. This card urges us to seek guidance from our own North Star, the compass point that leads us back to our authentic self and our life's purpose.
To touch the starlight within means to connect with the eternal aspect of ourselves that transcends the challenges of the mundane world. It is a call to tune into our higher consciousness and align our thoughts, actions, and intentions with our deepest values and aspirations. By doing so, we can navigate through any obstacles and find meaning and fulfillment in our lives.
Embrace the hope and inspiration that The Star brings. Trust in your own inner guidance and allow it to illuminate your path. Remember that you are connected to something greater, and by touching the starlight within, you can transcend any adversity and shine brightly in your own unique way.

YouTube video on “The Star (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day”
What is the meaning of your life?Have you lost perspective, becoming consumed with something that really isn't that important in the long run? When was the last time you felt absolutely clear about your purpose?
The woman on the Star card has drawn the healing waters from the pool of the Universal collective. She is pouring some of these waters on the parched earth beside her, symbolizing a replenishment of her world, and the neglected parts of herself. What feels dry and parched in your consciousness? What needs replenishment and watering? The woman is taking some of the water for herself. She knows she is worthy, and it is wise to do so. By taking the gifts of the Universe to replenish herself, she will be able to share more of herself for the collective good.
The woman is also pouring some of the water back into the universal pool. She is giving something back to the collective, to improve and enrich it. “To whom much is given, much is required.” If she keeps returning some of the water to the pool, she will ensure it never dries up and will be able to draw future blessings from it when needed.
The Major Arcana in the Tarot can be interpreted as a path laid out in symbols toward deeper understanding of the self. In the Major Arcana, the Star is numbered XVII, and occurs immediately after the most challenging cards (XII The Hanged Man, XIII Death, XV The Devil, XVI The Tower). After accepting sacrifice, death, confronting the shadow self, and returning to her true nature, the superficial layers of the ego are stripped away.
The Star represents the imperishable light within you that transcends the fears of the ego. This is the eternal starlight of Spirit. Each of us possesses this light. This light is always sparkling within us. However, sometimes it is so buried beneath burdens, and layers of ego and fear, that it is hard to feel or see. Some people forget this light exists altogether, until they see a laughing baby, or are moved by a pivotal (sometimes traumatic) life event. The Star card reminds us that our inner light exists. When we draw from its eternal waters, we can bounce back from death and defeat, transcending all challenges. Knowing this, we come to understand there is really nothing to fear...
In the background sitting in a tree is an Ibis bird. The Ibis was very sacred in ancient Egypt. It is the emblem of the God of Wisdom, Thoth. The Ibis calls us to the wisdom we need to access in order to fly above our present challenges. The Ibis grant the perspective of the big picture high on his tree. He is the God of the Moon and of writing. Perhaps it’s time to journal your deeper revelations.
The Star reminds you to replenish yourself by accessing the transcendent light within. When you have drawn from the power of this light pass along it’s blessings and reinvest in the Universal pool. Open your eyes to where you are truly needed in your world. If you’ve ever helped the homeless or sat with an old lonely lady that needed to talk or left a huge tip and a sweet note for a hotel maid or waitress in a rough life patch, then you’ve been doing the work of the Star. You’ve been replenishing the waters of the collective good. The Star is all about restoring Hope in yourself and others.
Follow your North Star back to the best parts of you, and your true purpose.
If you continue to pass on blessings to others, you will always be blessed.

Six of Pentacles (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day
Six of Pentacles (Upright) | Tarot Card
The Six of Pentacles represents compassion, generosity, and cultivating good karma. It reminds you that your true character is not determined by how much you impress powerful and influential individuals in society. Instead, it is measured by how you treat the outcasts, the penniless, and the "least of these." When you show kindness to those from whom you may expect to gain nothing, you may discover that you receive a gift far greater than what you give.
In traditional Rider Waite tarot symbolism, the Six of Pentacles depicts a wealthy figure distributing alms to those in need. This card represents the importance of sharing resources and extending a helping hand to those who are less fortunate. It symbolizes the power of generosity and the positive impact it can have on both the giver and the receiver.
When the Six of Pentacles appears in a reading, it encourages you to embody the spirit of compassion and generosity. It reminds you to consider how you can contribute to the well-being of others and make a positive difference in their lives. This card invites you to share your resources, whether they are material, emotional, or spiritual, with those who are in need.
Today, reflect on how you can extend kindness and support to others, particularly to those who may be overlooked or marginalized. Embrace the opportunity to entertain angels unaware by showing compassion and generosity without expecting anything in return. Remember that acts of kindness have a ripple effect, spreading positivity and creating a better world for all.

Does “tunnel vision” get in the way of noticing the light within the people around you?Do you think that “those bums should just get a job, and take care of themselves!,” since you never got a free pass? Does making eye-contact and smiling at strangers frighten you, causing you to avoid connecting with others?
The rich merchant on the card has worked hard to escape the crushing poverty of his youth. However, he always remembers what it was like. He had to deal with a lot of other poor people in “survival mode.” This made him learn early that hungry people, without their basic needs met, can do horrible things to others, with little remorse. The merchant knows that he could have ended up just like the people his society disdains. If he was born a little different, didn’t have mentors, got sick or had a disability, made a wrong decision somewhere in the past.....well then he might be begging for scraps too.
The merchant holds the scales. This shows he sees “both sides.” He also remembers many poor people showed him loyalty and kindness, far more valuable than what can be found among the upper echelons. He learned “hard work,” and how to keep fighting to overcome obstacles from these hearty folks. This is why he sees their value. This is why you see him willingly handing out some coins to people in need.
He also knows a secret from his youth. That angels actually disguise themselves as social outcasts all the time, waiting to bless those who stop, and notice the light in their eyes.
There are myths, fairy tales, and religious stories that stretch back far into human history with the same theme. A test is presented to someone who has “everything.” A god, fairy, or an angel, appears before the fortunate individual, disguised as a beggar. If the the individual treats the beggar kindly, they are given some sort of magical assistance (like Cinderella going to the ball). If however, the wealthy person treats the beggar as worthless, something terrible happens. They undergo a horrible transformation. Their “outsides” reflect the ugly they harbor within. Remember "Beauty and the Beast?"
Don’t ignore the light within the eyes of the people around you.Giving strangers a warm welcome, offering food, and showing respect was one of the sacred customs from Ancient Greece. It was respected by absolutely everybody. It was a custom decreed by their king of the Gods, Zeus. The Greeks believed that Gods and Goddesses appeared before men as lowly beggars all the time, testing their humanity. If they were treated well they could change one's fortunes. Some Christian stories also describe angels doing the exact same thing.
Today, you could be interacting with an angel unaware. Also don’t assume you know another’s “societal worth,” by their outward appearance. Angels love to disguise themselves as what society deems as "crazy people." I think angels can actually take over their bodies (I've seen it myself). I believe it's probably easier for angels to take over the minds of nuttier/eccentric people. People without an open mind probably have a "closed sign" up for the angels.
The Six of Pentacles in a Love Reading:New RelationshipThe person you are interested in appears to have it all. Make sure that you are not placing their perceived value on a pedestal at the expense of your own. Embrace what makes you powerful and meet this person as an equal. The Six of Pentacles can also signify a new relationship with someone who holds a higher position or has secured more wealth than you.
Long Term PartnershipFor a healthy relationship, the Six of Pentacles can be a secure card. A balance has likely been struck in your union. Your partnership is complimentary. Although one partner may wield more worldly power, they are complimented by their beloved’s inner strengths. This card can also signify a time where your partner needs your selfless help and support through difficulties.
Seeking RomanceIf you are single, the Six of Pentacles asks you to be mindful of role you are embodying, the equal partner, the giver, or the beggar. You don’t need to beg for someone to love you. Likewise, you don’t need to constantly give in to disempowered people. Seek equity in your relationships and enter them with your power intact.
