Four of Swords (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

“Finding Peace and Rest.”  Four of Swords (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

Four of Swords (Upright) | Tarot Card

The Four of Swords symbolizes our need to find inner peace.

It encourages rest and recuperation. The appearance of the Four of Swords gently reminds you to pay attention to your body and any areas where tension has been building up. Today, you may need to give yourself some peace and quiet to rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit. It may also be time to let go of whatever is preventing a sense of peace and causing inner suffering.

In traditional Rider Waite tarot symbolism, the Four of Swords depicts a figure lying on a tomb, suggesting a temporary retreat from the outer world. This card represents the importance of finding solace and taking a break from the daily challenges of life. It is a call to prioritize self-care and recharge your energy.

When the Four of Swords appears in a reading, it invites you to create space for stillness and relaxation. It suggests that you take time for yourself, whether through meditation, quiet contemplation, or engaging in activities that bring you peace. This card reminds you to honor your body's need for rest and rejuvenation, as well as to release any burdens or worries that may be weighing you down.

Today, embrace the energy of the Four of Swords and seek inner peace. Allow yourself the time and space to recharge, heal, and find balance. Prioritize self-care and let go of anything that is causing inner turmoil. By finding moments of peace and tranquility, you can restore your vitality and cultivate a sense of well-being.

Four of Swords (Upright) 🛌🧘‍♂️ | Tarot Card of the Day | July 8: Finding #Peace and Rest.

YouTube video for the Four of Swords (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day by Elliot Oracle

Do you feel inner-peace, or have you been suffering?

When is the last time you gave yourself a relaxing mid-day nap? Do you need a break from the stress that's built up?

Hidden in the upper left-corner of the stained glass window in the Four of Swords is the word: PAX (Latin for PEACE). Aside from encouraging rest, this card asks you if you are feeling inner-peace. Usually what causes suffering in our lives is attachments to things that need to be surrendered. Trying to control outcomes, or hanging onto a path that no longer brings rewards are examples of this. Take a time out and identify anything that is interfering with your inner peace. Is it a life path that you honestly aren't happy on? Is it an attachment to a specific outcome? Do you still need to hang on to this attitude or path? Wouldn't it be a relief to finally let it go and see what new wonders await you in your newfound freedom? Often we rationalize why we need to suffer, but there is no rationalization for it. You can choose inner-peace, and let go of whatever you've outgrown that keeps preventing a sense of being at peace within yourself.

Another way to bring a sense of inner-peace is deep breathing. Secure ten minutes for yourself where you won't be disturbed.  Sit back and relax in a comfy chair. Bring your awareness to your body. With your mind, slowly scan the sensations of your body from head to toe. Is there an area with tightness built up? Find the area of tightness and try to relax the muscles surrounding it as much as you can. When you identify where the tension has built up, its time to breathe into it. Empty all the air from your lungs. Take a deep breath, slowly inhaling through your nostrils over an eight second count. Fill your body with revitalizing air. Let your stomach expand with the inhalation. Inhale the revitalizing oxygen into into the place of tension. Hold the air there for eight seconds, right in the tense spot. While holding the air, purse your lips as if you were about to drink from a small straw. Exhale all the air over eight counts through this aperture slowly. It should sound like a dolphin’s exhalation. (PPHHHHHHHHH). Use your abdomen to press all the old air out of your body. Let all the tension escape with the breath. Feel the muscles around the tense spot relax even further. Repeat this breath exercise with two more healing inhalations and exhalations (Eight counts in, hold eight counts in stressed spot, release through pursed lips eight counts). With each exhalation allow your body to let go of all the accumulated strains of the week.

The Four of Swords reminds you to breathe, relax, and let go.

We are always being stimulated by tasks, media, and demands. Breathing is the easiest way to release tension, but there are so many other ways to relax. Take a nice hot bath with candles and scented water. Sip a cool refreshing drink or soothing herbal tea. Take a relaxing nap for an hour just to rest your brow. Read your favorite book with snuggly blankets a cup of cocoa. Take a breather in a cool darkened room.

Today, allow yourself rest and recuperation. You don't need to suffer. Let go of that which is not meant to be. Blessings will always come to those who are at peace within themselves.

Four of Swords in a Love ReadingNew Relationship

The Four of Swords could indicate that your budding relationship may not progress quickly at this time. Be patient. The person you are asking about may periodically need to retreat to regain clarity or may simply need more time to make up their mind. This card can also represent a love interest who is involved in some sort of recovery process. Take it slow.

Long Term Partnership

For a long-term partnership, the Four of Swords could indicate that one or both partners benefits immensely from periodic alone-time. You may also find that your relationship works best when you can both focus on your independent interests. It may also be time for a vacation to rest, replenish, and rejuvenate your bond.

Intimacy

It may feel like your sex life has been in a long slumber. It may be time to reawaken the passion by speaking candidly about your needs. This card can also indicate that external stress is interfering with the intimacy you and your partner share. A relaxing, romantic retreat is in order. Engage in activities that release tension.

Seeking Romance

If you are single, you may be feeling rather isolated. Counterintuitively, you may have also become very comfortable being on your own. This can result in unconsciously sending out signals to others that you’re not actually looking for a relationship.

The Chariot (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

“Embrace Courage in the Face of the Unknown.” The Chariot Tarot

The Chariot (Upright) | Tarot Card

The Chariot symbolizes courage in the face of uncertainty.

It represents taking risks and stepping towards what you really want out of life, even when there are no guarantees. The Chariot illustrates that victory does not solely come from the attainment of a goal, but rather occurs at the exact moment you choose courage instead of fear.

In traditional Rider Waite tarot symbolism, the Chariot portrays a triumphant warrior riding a chariot pulled by two contrasting sphinxes. This imagery symbolizes the need to harness and balance opposing forces to navigate through challenges successfully. The Chariot reminds us that true victory lies not only in the destination but in the journey itself.

When the Chariot appears in a reading, it serves as a reminder to summon your inner strength and determination. It encourages you to confront any doubts or fears that may be holding you back and embrace the unknown with confidence. This card signifies the importance of trusting your instincts and taking control of your own destiny. It is a call to embrace your personal power and move forward with unwavering resolve.

Today, let the energy of the Chariot guide you towards embracing the unknown and facing challenges head-on. Choose courage over fear, trust in your own abilities, and move forward with determination. Victory awaits those who have the bravery to chase their dreams and navigate the uncharted territories of life.

The Chariot (Upright) 🤝🔮 | Tarot Card of the Day | July 12: Embrace #Courage in the Face of the #Unknown.

YouTube | The Chariot (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

Do you avoid making decisions that could lead to your happiness because you are afraid of failing?

Have you ever stayed in unhealthy situations longer than you should have because you feared an unknowable future? Is there something you would like to change about your life right now, but you are too scared?

The Chariot is led by two sphinxes, one black and one white. They face in opposite directions, representing two possible futures. The sphinx is a creature of mystery and represents the unknown. The man in the chariot is taking a risk and letting the mysterious sphinxes lead him. He doesn’t know what lies ahead, but he has taken the risk anyway.

The Charioteer advises you to take risks to improve your life, even if there are no guarantees.

In the background of the card there is a large castle surrounded by stable walls.  This represents leaving the safety of the home to go out into the world. A large moat surrounds the castle and has also been crossed.  This represents bypassing emotional decision making which usually favors comfort over self-improvement. The Chariot is covered by a veil imprinted with stars. Stars are eternal and ancient. They symbolize that the charioteer is seeing “the big picture.” His Higher Self is directing his path.

The charioteer is still advancing toward his goal, and yet he is already crowned and sceptered. He has already won. He made the decision to have courage direct his path instead of a need for comfort, assurance, and security.

Choosing courage empowers you, and already makes you a winner.

The Chariot in a Love ReadingNew Relationship

When dating the Charioteer, be confident. He (or she) is attracted to strength of character and presence. Don’t be too eager to please. Chariot people retreat when they catch the slightest whiff of desperation. The Charioteer respects individuals who hold firm convictions and know their own mind. This card can also signify progress or movement in a relationship.

Long Term Partnership

The Chariot can describe a partnership where both people are leaving their comfort zones and are about to embark into uncharted territory. Although there are challenges or conflicts that are sure to be confronted, the Chariot promises victory. Overcoming adversity brings out the best in this relationship.

Seeking Romance

If you are single, the Chariot encourages you to be bold and go for it! Don’t let the fear of “looking” a certain way keep you from your happiness. Leave your comfort zone and have courage. You won’t win your heart’s desire if you retreat from every opportunity to achieve it.

King of Pentacles (Reversed) 💭💼 | Tarot Card of the Day | July 11: Organizing #Thoughts and #Priorities.

What is the most pressing issue that needs to be addressed in order to begin the journey toward your goal?

What seems to be habitually holding up progress? Are you avoiding something out of fear? What do you need to learn more about to take your next steps?

When the King of Pentacles appears reversed, he may indicate that your focus on material success and possessions has become unbalanced. You may be placing too much emphasis on accumulating wealth, at the expense of other aspects of your life such as relationships, creativity, or spirituality.

The King of Pentacles reversed suggests that you may be becoming too focused on short-term gains and losing sight of the long-term picture. You may be making decisions based solely on financial gain, without considering the impact on your overall well-being. It's important to remember that true success and abundance come from a balance of different aspects of your life, not just financial gain.

Take a step back and reassess your priorities. Ask yourself if your current goals and pursuits align with your values and overall vision for your life. Take time to focus on building relationships, exploring your creativity, or connecting with your spirituality. These things may not have an immediate financial payoff, but they contribute to a rich and fulfilling life.

The reversed King of Pentacles can also indicate that you may be experiencing financial setbacks or difficulties. It's important to stay patient and remember that setbacks are a natural part of any journey. Use this as an opportunity to reevaluate your financial situation and make necessary changes to improve it.

Remember that true success and abundance come from a balanced approach to life. Focus on cultivating a sense of well-being and abundance in all aspects of your life, not just financial gain.

When the King of Pentacles appears reversed, it indicates the need to simplify and organize your thoughts and approach to achieving your goals.

Take your major goal and break it up into a manageable sequence of steps. Organize your tasks into a manageable schedule and take action. The King of Pentacles is a master organizer. He patiently and lovingly tends his vineyard over time, ensuring the sweetest grapes. The best grapes cannot be hurried. The King's example can help you remove the "mental clutter" that are obstacles toward progress. He exemplifies the notion that Rome was not built in a day........ but also reminds you that Rome was eventually built. It's time to not only be proactive, but patient as well. Before you know it, you will taste the sweetest grapes.

King of Pentacles (Reversed) in a Love ReadingNew Relationship

The King of Pentacles reversed can represent a potential relationship partner you are increasingly impatient with. Perhaps you aren’t receiving a commitment within a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes a situation will become increasingly uncomfortable to motivate you toward something better.

Long Term Partnership

The King of Pentacles reversed can represent a partner who is financially successful but emotionally unavailable. He might also be content with how things appear on the surface rather addressing the deeper needs of the relationship. This card can also signify an unhappy relationship that has come to feel more like a business.

Seeking Romance

If the King of Pentacles reversed represents you, there is likely some unfinished emotional business that is thwarting your new beginning. You cannot rush through this process. Until you bring complete closure to the past, you may feel your new chapter is continuously out of reach.

Seven of Cups (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

“Navigating Dreams and Realities.” Seven of Cups (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

Seven of Cups (Upright) | Tarot Card

The Seven of Cups represents dreams, illusions, and wishes.

It is a card that invites us to explore the realm of imagination and possibility. However, it is important to approach this card with discernment and clarity.

In the original content, it is mentioned that some people waste years stuck on the lessons of this card, using wishful thinking as an avoidance mechanism. While it is true that the Seven of Cups can dazzle us with its castles in the air, it also presents an opportunity for self-reflection and introspection.

In traditional Rider-Waite tarot symbolism, the Seven of Cups depicts various options and desires, symbolized by the cups. Each cup holds a different image, representing different paths and possibilities. It serves as a reminder that dreams and aspirations are important, but they need to be grounded in reality. It encourages us to discern between fleeting fantasies and realistic goals.

The Seven of Cups invites us to explore our dreams and wishes, but also reminds us of the need to stay connected to our present state of affairs. It encourages us to take responsibility for our lives and make conscious choices that align with our values and long-term aspirations. By embracing a balanced approach that combines imagination with practicality, we can navigate the realm of dreams and illusions while staying rooted in reality.

Seven of Cups (Upright) ☁️🌈 for July 10 | Daily Tarot Reading/Card of the Day | Elliot Oracle

YouTube video for the Seven of Cups (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day by Elliot Oracle

Do you find yourself hesitant to make important changes in your life due to the fear of failure, letting others down, or appearing unsuccessful?

Do you lack enough confidence in yourself to get the ball rolling? What crutches do you use to evade reality?

It's okay to wish and hope for a better future, if you are doing the work. Wishing to lose weight but still consuming 4000 calories a day without moving isn't going to get you to your goal. By setting daily attainable goals for yourself, you can build and reinforce your self-esteem.

Theodore Roosevelt had a famous code he lived by: "Get action!" By taking action (putting out the resumes, meeting with experts, taking risks, reaching out, asking questions, learning a new skill), a magical thing starts to happen. Momentum begins. Things start to fall in place. Hope is rekindled about the future. Your dreams begin to manifest. Soon the reality you are living is better than an empty fantasy. This is because you are no longer passively waiting for life to hopefully hand you your dreams. You are going out and making it happen.

When the Seven of Cups card appears in a tarot reading, it’s an invitation to explore your deepest desires and to dream big.

Then get to the work of manifesting it. Think about one major life goal you have. What practical steps can you take right now to achieve that goal? Be courageous and don't let old avoidance mechanisms prevail. Instead of hoping, wishing and waiting for what you want, go out and get it!

Seven of Cups in a Love ReadingNew Relationship

The Seven of Cups can signify an element of fantasy that makes this union feel magical. However, this card frustratingly reveals that you don’t have all the information yet. It may feel as if there is a confusing fog that is not allowing you to see clearly. Don’t allow the expectations of what you want to see, cloud reality. Stay tethered to your common sense as you proceed.

Long Term Partnership

The Seven of Cups can represent a partner who escapes from reality. It may be difficult to confront serious issues. However, this card is also associated with intense creativity. One partner may dream big but may also struggle with manifesting their goals. They benefit from a relationship partner who creates structure and can see to the details.

Seeking Romance

You may not be perceiving reality clearly. Either your greatest hopes or deepest fears have distorted your perspective about love. Place your attention on the practical steps that can be taken, to improve your current situation. This card can also warn you not to project the fantasy of what you want to see on someone you don’t know that well.

Are you clear on what you want out of life?

If someone asks you what you want out of life, do you respond, "to be happy," without even knowing what that means for you? Do you think you've failed, or messed up with your life, and you that can't get it back on track?

Let me tell you something... That's just a lie from fear. It's not true.

The man on the card is considering his future. He's richly dressed, an important person in his small corner of the world. Yet he feels unfulfilled. The man is not looking at you, he's thinking about life. His life.

At first glance it appears he is overlooking a vast desert. A sandy wasteland with little promise. What kind of future is that?! But as always with the tarot, look closer... You will see that these are not barren sands, but the orange glowing waters of sunrise or sunset. Ships are crossing to and from their ports of safety. Sunrise and sunset are the magical times of "in-between." Transformations always happens at these times (see the Two of Swords). The man's heart is yearning to embark, to leave his small island home. Somehow, it has unconsciously always been his dream. He wasn't sure what he was missing, but now he knows. He took the time to stop, think, and get clear about what he really wants out of life. Now that he is clear on his objective, he can open himself to the wonders of the world. He's going to go for it!

Today the Three of Wands asks you to stop, overview, and think about where you are going.

Is there something you still want to have, achieve, or be? Well you can still have it! The world is wide, open, and waiting. You just may just have to leave your own "small island" (a metaphor for your comfort zone). If you act on what you truly want for yourself, you won't ever regret it. Taking action in the face of fear proves your courage, which becomes self-esteem. Who doesn't want to feel more confident about themselves?

You can still have all you want, but you have to be clear about what that is. When you know it, it will be your treasure map, guiding you to unbelievable riches.

When you have your bliss, clear in your mind, ask yourself, "Am I doing at least one thing today that contributes to achieving this for myself? If the answer is "No," don't beat yourself up. Get up and change it. Make it priority number one tomorrow. Wanting to "be happy" isn't clear enough. What does happy mean for you?

Above the Temple leading to the Oracle of Delphi were the words: "Know Thyself."

If you really do take the time to know yourself, then all you desire can manifest like magic.

Three of Wands in a Love ReadingNew Relationship

The future is full of possibility for your new partnership. The success of the relationship is left to the choices you currently make. You are both be entering this union during a pivotal time of personal growth. This card can also signify exciting adventures abroad.

Long Term Partnership

The Three of Wands beckons you and your partner to start making plans for the future. You are both feeling free to make decisions that are in alignment with your mutual desires. A major transition is happening, clearing the horizon for unlimited possibilities. This card can also signify excitement about an upcoming trip or change of residence.

Seeking Romance

If you are single the Three of Wands reminds you that the world is wide open and waiting for you. You may need to leave the security of your deserted island to explore what is out there. Be open to the potential for happiness when this card appears. Your future remains a blank slate.

Five of Cups (Reversed) | Tarot Card of the Day

“Shifting Perspective and Finding Opportunities in Setbacks.” Five of Cups (Reversed) | Tarot Card of the Day

Five of Cups (Reversed) | Tarot Card

When the Five of Cups appears reversed, it suggests a shift in perspective towards viewing setbacks as opportunities.

In life, there will be issues thrown your way which you didn't deserve or intend. When we don’t get what we want, we often view the situation as negative. The Five of Cups reversed symbolizes an opportunity to go even further than a challenge’s outward appearance. Always with this card, you must shift your perspective to the cups still standing in order to cross the bridge.

In traditional Rider Waite tarot symbolism, the reversed Five of Cups reminds us of the importance of changing our perspective. Instead of dwelling on what went wrong or what was lost, we are encouraged to focus on the cups that are still standing. This card teaches us that even in difficult times, there is always something to be grateful for or something positive to be found. By shifting our mindset and seeking the lessons and opportunities within challenges, we can move forward with resilience and a renewed sense of purpose.

Additionally, the reversed Five of Cups invites us to embrace a more positive outlook and to see setbacks as catalysts for personal growth. Rather than allowing ourselves to be consumed by disappointment or regret, we can choose to view these experiences as valuable opportunities to learn, evolve, and make necessary changes. Don’t allow yourself to feel defeated. Ask yourself, “What is this challenge teaching me?” Also ask, “How is this difficulty teaching me to become a better version of myself?” This card reminds us that there is always hope and possibility, even in the face of adversity. By reframing our perspective and focusing on the potential for growth and renewal, we can transform setbacks into stepping stones towards a brighter future.

Does your mind ever feel hypnotized with problems?

When the Five of Cups appears in a tarot reading, it serves as a reminder to break out of the trance of negative thinking. The card's imagery depicts a figure fixated on the spilled cups in front of him, ignoring the two still-standing cups and the bridge behind them. This represents the tendency to dwell on the negative aspects of life and overlook the positive ones.

Negative thinking can be like a hypnotic state that consumes our attention and energy. It can be challenging to break out of this trance, especially when our minds are idle. However, by focusing on the positive aspects of life, we can shift our attention away from negative thoughts and restore our sense of well-being.

One way to do this is by recalling the details of a happy memory, such as a favorite place we've visited. By vividly remembering the sights, sounds, and sensations of this place, we can redirect our attention away from negative thoughts and onto something positive. The more details we can recall, the better we'll feel.

It's essential to catch ourselves as we're slipping into negative rumination and redirect our thoughts. When we snap out of the negative trance, we can focus on constructive actions that lead us towards our future. By focusing on the positive aspects of life, we can enjoy its goodness even when everything isn't perfect.

So, let's knock off the ruminating and place our focus on something that makes us happy or restores our faith in ourselves. We deserve to live a life that is filled with joy and positivity.

If you continually look at life in an aggrieved manner, your personal power will continue to elude you

The situation that life is presenting you with is neither "positive" or "negative." These perceptions of “good” or “bad” luck are blocking you from the purpose of this situation. Choose to see how these challenges are directing you to a stronger, more empowered version of yourself. Open your eyes to the strength of character you may have forgotten you possessed. Personal growth happens in the place where challenges occur. Being surprised that life is not going according to your best laid plans is like being shocked that the weather is not behaving as forecasted. “Setbacks” appear when there is a better way forward, that you are not aware of yet. Don't get mad, scared, or depressed. Get powerful. Focus on what gifts remain on the pathway to success. Negativity halts momentum. The Universe is not depriving you. It is redirecting you to where better blessings await.

The Five of Cups (Reversed) in a Love Reading:New Relationship

The Five of Cups reversed can represent someone whose perspective is clouded by toxic emotions. Keep your energy clear of anyone that makes you consistently feel bad. New love is supposed to feel good! This card can also signify a lesson you’ve learned before but seem to be repeating with someone new. Don’t get stuck in past ruts.

Long Term Partnership

You and your partner are doing some major work on your relationship. You are releasing toxicity that has built up from the past. Everything you’ve experienced, including setbacks, have taught you something valuable. This card can also signify a mutual commitment to picking up the pieces after a major storm in your relationship together.

Seeking Romance

You’ve begun to snap out of the illusion that your unhappiness is permanent. You’ve given yourself space to cry, grieve, and truly accept a loss. Now joy will want its turn. Don’t allow past attachments to ensnare your heart. You are strong enough to begin anew.

King of Swords (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

“Challenging Assumptions and Balancing Logic with Intuition.” King of Swords (Upright) | Tarot Card of the Day

King of Swords (Upright) | Tarot Card

When the King of Swords appears, he is asking you to take a closer look at how you might be limiting yourself based on your own assumptions.

The King of Swords embodies the archetype of 'The Man,' representing societal structures and expectations that unconsciously influence our behaviors and perspectives. While the King of Swords symbolizes intellect, rationality, and logic, these qualities can become restrictive if taken to an extreme. This card serves as a reminder to strike a balance between your logical mind and your heart's wisdom, as well as to challenge any assumptions that may be hindering your personal growth and understanding.

In traditional Rider Waite tarot symbolism, the King of Swords is depicted as a stern figure, embodying the qualities of intellectual prowess, clarity of thought, and the power of discernment. However, this card also carries a cautionary message about the potential limitations of excessive reliance on logic and reason. The King of Swords encourages you to broaden your perspective, engage your intuition, and consider the emotional aspects of a situation alongside the intellectual. By challenging your assumptions and embracing a more holistic approach, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and others.

Allow your heart and intuition to guide you, in addition to your logical mind. Find the balance between intellect and emotions, and use your discernment wisely. Open yourself to new possibilities, and be willing to question established beliefs and perspectives. The King of Swords reminds you to remain open-minded, adaptable, and receptive to different points of view. By doing so, you can navigate challenges with clarity, make informed decisions, and foster harmonious relationships.

Are you too rigid in your thinking, refusing to consider new ideas or perspectives?

Do you feel limited by societal structures and expectations? Are you struggling to assert your own boundaries and autonomy in the face of authority figures? Do you look at others that are different from you with assumptions before you really get to know them?

All of us are raised in a world of assumptions. As children we are unconsciously presented with attitudes of racism, sexism, and phobias that color our eventual view of the world. People fear what they don't understand. People also find it uncomfortable to question a conclusion they arrived at long ago. When the King of Swords appears, he places you in contact with your own assumptions. Every now and then we need to challenge our assumptions in order to grow. Sometimes the assumptions that need to be released are narratives that you are unconsciously accepting from external society about how far you can go, and how much you can achieve.

The King of Swords is not an evil king. His real interest is preserving the security of the System. He argues that the way things are far better than changing his mind. Sometimes the King of Swords symbolizes a difficulty with changing your mind about something that seems settled. Although the King looks fixed, look closer... There are butterflies covering his throne. This represents that systems can be changed; assumptions can be transformed, and old divisions can be healed through understanding. The King of Swords can change his mind! Here's the biggest secret: The King of Swords is a part of us. The part that needs to lose its rigidity.

What part of you feels rigid? Are you dismissing whole swarths of people, simply because they have a different viewpoint, politics, ethnicity, or other social identifier? What calcified attitudes in the world would you like to see changed? Are you encountering these traits with someone else around you?

The King of Swords is at his best when he applies critical thinking and logical arguments.

In order to change fixed attitudes, you must understand them. The King of Swords represents understanding things more acutely, so that you can make reasoned arguments and arrive conclusions that are evidence-based. Sometimes the King of Swords appears in the form of a loved one who challenges your own viewpoints and assumptions. They may say the craziest things, and may be incorrect with the facts, but they do serve in making you question your own conclusions.

You will never win a full on “battle” with the King of Swords. He’s heavily entrenched and armored. He can be a fixed personality, or he may represent an institution or organization that is set in its ways. When the King of Swords appears win him over with clarity, evidence and reason. This King can change his mind, but only if it makes logical sense to do so.

King of Swords in a Love ReadingNew Relationship

The King of Swords can represent a cautious courtship. The person you are asking about will likely want to be sure that you share the same values or world view before making a commitment. Dating this person can feel a bit like an audition process. This King maintains his guard until his mind is settled. This card might also represent a conservative person.

Long Term Partnership

The King of Swords represents a traditional relationship structure, providing safety and security. However, this card can also represent a partner who is entrenched in extremely entrenched in his (or her) systems and beliefs. A King of Swords will not deviate once his mind is made up; you may find yourself being the one who compromises more.

Seeking Romance

If you are single, the King of Swords could be telling you to stand your ground. If a person has proved to be not aligned with your values or moral code, it is okay to keep your distance. You may need to be careful and more discriminating in matters of love at this time.

Nine of Pentacles (Reversed) | Tarot Card of the Day

“Reclaiming Inner Balance and Aligning with your True Values.” Nine of Pentacles (Reversed) | Tarot Card of the Day

Nine of Pentacles (Reversed) | Tarot Card

The Nine of Pentacles reversed is a reminder to evaluate your situation and determine if it truly aligns with your values and goals.

Often when you are immersed in a messy relationship, environment, or situation, you can slowly become numb to it. After a while, you forget to even notice anything that is out of balance. This becomes the new normal. Don't ignore the warning signs or negative feelings that may be telling you that something needs to be addressed. Living with garbage can make you feel like garbage. The reversed Nine of Pentacles urges you to cultivate your own sense of abundance and self-worth, rather than seeking it from outside sources.

In traditional Rider Waite tarot symbolism, the reversed Nine of Pentacles carries the message of reclaiming your inner balance and realigning with your true values. It serves as a wake-up call to reevaluate your current circumstances and take action to regain a sense of harmony in your life.

Reflecting on your choices and decisions is crucial for finding your way back to a place of balance and inner peace. Assess whether the path you have chosen aligns with your priorities, values, and aspirations. If you discover that you have veered off course, remember that it is never too late to make a change. The reversed Nine of Pentacles encourages you to surround yourself with positivity, let go of external validation, and focus on self-improvement.

Take the time to create a nurturing and supportive environment for yourself. Surround yourself with people, experiences, and activities that uplift and inspire you. Nurture your own sense of abundance and self-worth from within. By aligning with your true values and making conscious choices that support your personal growth, you can cultivate a life of contentment and fulfillment.

Are you relying too heavily on others or external circumstances to bring you happiness and fulfillment?

Is it time to make a change?

The Nine of Pentacles represents wealth and security. It also symbolizes savoring your success. Every financial guru teaches that gratitude for what you have leads to even more wealth. The Nine of Pentacles teaches that wealth follows your focus (which must be trained) and is more of a state of mind than a dollar amount. If you want to experience even more wealth, you will have to slow down, acknowledge your success, and train your focus.

Do you take the time to slow down and savor your successes? How would you rate your concept of “self-worth?” Does your environment feel like it exudes “wealth energy?” Does it feel balanced, look appealing, and smell like abundance? (If not, it might be time to get a book about Feng Shui from the library.)

The wealthy woman on this card admires her abundant garden. It shines with the golden light of success. Her palace sits aloft the hills in the distance. She is training her pet falcon. Falcons are famous for their focus and their speed. The woman has placed a hood over the falcon. This symbolizes that she has learned how to train her own focus. She knows that what she places her attention on, she receives. The falcon is not racing ahead for a hunt, or frantically looking for his next prey. He is instead enjoying the affection of his mistress. He is also listening carefully to her encouraging words.

The woman has another pet with her in the garden.... this one is rather difficult to see but also teaches a very important lesson..............look closely..............can you spot it?

Far down in the left-hand corner of the image is a snail. Snails are sloooooowwwwww. They take their time to reach their destination. In fact, “destinations” aren’t important to them because snails are always at home. The woman keeps the snail in her garden. Snails are very sensitive to their environments. This reminds her that in order to ensure that even more wealth flows, she needs to slow down, take care of her environment, and savor her current success. The wealthy woman makes sure that her garden is only filled with imagery that conjures up a sense of abundance. This keeps her little companions healthy, and ensures wealth is continuously attracted to her.

Slow down and create an environment that will encourage feelings of success. Wealth will follow.

Today take an honest assessment of your personal environment.

Also, look within your heart for any garbage that needs to be taken out. Does your environment and state of mind meet with your standards of excellence? Are you happy with the way things are? Is there some work you need to do on yourself to improve? Like the beautiful garden on the card, your environment needs to exemplify stately beauty. This includes your state of mind. Know that you deserve the best, and don’t feel you need to accept anything that undermines your sense of self-worth. Speak up and take control of your personal garden today. Take the hood off the falcon and train your focus on improving anything that does not meet with your standards. You deserve the best!
