Ghostbook snippeteen.

click the photo to read the Ghostbook snippet at insideadog.
As you know, I'm currently polishing the Ghostbook before handing it over to my OBP editors. Today I've posted a wee snippet of it over at insideadog. Hope you like it.
As usual I've chosen to illustrate it with one of graciferblue's mosh photos - they just resonate so well with this story.

Thanks to a reader
Big Thanks to Joleene Naylor who e-mailed me her reviews of The Poison Throne and The Crowded Shadows.

Joleen's entry to the Loups-Garous contest
Joleene was one of the winners of the Loups-Garous competition back in old 2009. The competition asked readers to illustrate the vision inspired by the words Loups-Garous and the prize was a copy of the first two Moorehawke books.
You might remember this wonderful drawing which Joleene did for her submission?

New article up on insideadog. Talking about genre and how useful it is to know who you are as a writer, but how it's best not to let it confine you during the creative process.

Branching out... or not.

Thank You Met Éireann
Many many thanks to Noreen Brennan in the queries dept at Met Éireann.
I wanted to check if the weather in my current project would have been historically correct. Despite the fact that Met Éireann's records only go back to 1940, Noreen took the trouble of going to the library and looking up some journels from 1890! This was dedication above and beyond the call and, I think, deserves a public thanks!

The Poison Throne: UK/US confusions :0)
Very excited to discover that Orbit have released the ARCs for The Poison Throne ( what a beautiful promotional package they put together too! I am so happy! THANK YOU ORBIT!!!) There seems to have been a little confusion over the origins of the books however, and a few rather out-there opinions and theories being expressed via the interwebs. Given the slightly tangled online history of the book's publication the confusion is perfectly understandable, so, rather than address each query...
