Why not move them out of the public square, and into museums?

Why not move them out of the public square, and into museums?

Stop publicly holding up what they stand for. Keep remembering what they represented - so it doesn't happen again.

The risk of death might be low for teenagers, but this doesn’t take morbidity into account.

The risk of death might be low for teenagers, but this doesn’t take morbidity into account.

Young people can still be intubated, taking resources from older people who need them to survive. They can still kill their family. The loss of just one loved one without a goodbye is devastating. Also, for the young, long-term complications resulting from neuroinflammation and clotting could be permanent/chronic. I myself have a chronic condition. It’s no joke.

This isn’t the flu. It’s a hemotological and neurological sarbecovirus, studied in full BSL-3 conditions precisely because of the combination of virulence, asymptomatic transmission, and long incubation. If COVID-19 isn’t a bioweapon, it might as well be.

Americans need to relearn science-literacy, and duty to one another. What we have seen lately borders on natural selection at the civilizational level.

But isn’t CBD a constituent of the cannabis plant (marijuana and hemp)?

Make sure you capture the subtleties.

Make sure you capture the subtleties. There’s a distinction between THC and CBD, the latter of which can be derived from hemp, is anti-inflammatory but not psychoactive, and is also potentially effective in treating depression.

No. Do more than just pose a problem. Come up with a solution.

No. Do more than just pose a problem. Come up with a solution.

Striking and protesting without a plan are acts of the powerless. Americans are not powerless.

America's wealth does not come from its corporations. It comes from its people - from dreamers and innovators and builders. These have kept the USA a step ahead of other nations for decades, until now. We need to get away from 1987's "greed is good" mindset and back to that focus on people.

We have 6 chief issues:

1) Education inflation & student loan debt;

2) Inequality mismanagement, revolving-door corruption, & corporate political clout;

3) Healthcare feudalism - lack of universal, high-quality coverage;

4) Housing costs - supply constriction/NIMBY policies at local level;

5) Lack of any meritocratic selection process for federal civil leadership;

6) Internal strife & in-group party pandering.

All of these have caused a perfect storm in Coronavirus response. They have hampered decision velocity in our tepid leadership. They caused our people to fracture, losing sight of sense of common duty and sacrifice (no masks).

It is not too late to solve these problems later this year, and beyond. But keep in mind there is more at stake here than America.

If we fail, China's system will be the new world norm for centuries. The ideals in our Constitution will be replaced with a culture of censorship, thought control, concentration camps, mass executions, and an Orwellian social credit system. (Look up the Belt & Road Initiative & the Xinjiang re-education camps.)

Smart Americans such as yourself have a moral obligation to step up and offer solutions.
