Biden has been relying heavily on Warren for policy lately, and several of her ideas are both creative and incisive.

Ultra-Millionaire Tax | Elizabeth Warren

A net worth tax >$50m could go a long way to healing corporate America's culture of runaway avarice.

My Plan to Cancel Student Loan Debt on Day One of My Presidency | Elizabeth Warren

Forgiving student loans is now necessary to America's future.

Breaking the Political Influence of Market-Dominant Companies | Elizabeth Warren

On reforming monopoly political power.

End Wall Street's Stranglehold on Our Economy | Elizabeth Warren

On regulating the financial sector.

Her plans are thoughtful. With luck, Biden will choose his VP wisely. He is 77 now and would assume the presidency at 78. By the time his term is over he would be 82.

The priority now has to be defeating President Trump. in November. Even the wisest can't see all ends, and perfect can't be the enemy of the good.

Block! How rude. I wouldn’t engage with someone saying this about me.

This amendment is defective.

This amendment is defective. If there were ever a time to remove a president for competence reasons, it would have been in the last four years. We need a whistle-blower provision with teeth.

I’m not inclined to believe anything he does is sincere at this point.

I’m not inclined to believe anything he does is sincere at this point. There have been too many untruths.

I agree with this idea.

I agree with this idea. But it’s hard for people to generate the most wealth possible when they have to put food on the table and pay ridiculous rent.

We already have wealth transfers with graduates progressive taxation/capital gains rates, social security, education inflation, & housing NIMBY. No Millennial will ever see SS payouts, and fewer and fewer can afford homes. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have a baseline level of poverty for everyone with UBI and a national version of FEHB (somewhere above ruin as the “floor”), then add education reform & a consumption tax — with an additional yearly wealth tax increasing geometrically above 100m? The goal of this would be to manage the Pareto distribution, foster innovation, and increase society’s overall wealth generated. No more young Will Huntings struggling to make ends meet.

This is the only way we'll have any chance to survive as a species.

This is the only way we'll have any chance to survive as a species.

Climate change will require globally coordinated geoengineering solutions. AI will need to be carefully managed globally, or we'll become obsolete. Biothreats/pandemics will only become more common with shrinking biodiversity.

Trade and technology may bring us closer together in time.
