True Learning
People don’t value free stuff.
Not because they don’t want to “intentionally” value it,
but because the human mind is built in such a way that unless there is tension in the mind, it does not register anything.
“Free” is tension-less. Thus, the mind ignores whatever is given away for free.
The surest way to ensure that the student imbibes none of that you say is to give it away for “free”.
You will be better off keeping all your secrets to yourself, unless a truly sincere student appears.
Now you will ask who is a sincere student?
A sincere student is someone who is desperate to know. Not out of curiosity and to gain the pleasure of “knowing” a secret.
But whose heart is hell bent on knowing the truth. He seeks understanding, rather than information.
And the teacher must seduce this person into finding the secret for himself. For there is no way to “transfer” the secret from a person’s visceral understanding to another.
True learning is not transfer of information. No-one does that better than Google.
True learning is understanding the truth. And testing it a 100 times to make sure that it is THE truth. And not opinion, belief, dogmas taken from the culture.

Why BYJUS Is NOT A SCAM
You really believed that BYJUS is a SCAM…Didn’t you?
Just because you watched some YouTube videos…
What if I told you that it’s not?
Take down BYJUS and another RYJUS will crop up.
Until you understand,
The ROOT of the problem.
The problem is not BYJUS…
BYJUS has just found product-market fit.
It became successful in creating something that parents WANTED.
Why are you jealous that BYJUS sales executives understand parents’ emotions better than you?
And before you say “Oh, they exploit parents’ emotions”
Well, so do all the Ads that you see on TV!
Parents who send their kids to horse races,
While they sit back and cheer for their child to win,
Deserve nothing better than BYJUS.
The number of parents who ask for Krishnamurthy schools or decide to Home-school is 1 in a Billion.
So why is BYJUS at fault?
They were just successful in creating something that parents WANTED.
They just found PRODUCT-MARKET fit.
Whether you like it, or not.

My Biggest Regret
My biggest regret in Life,
Is
Wasting time as a Kid.
Time that could have been used to discover my talent(s).
Time that could have been used to learn something new.
Time that could have been used to create something.
Time that could have been used in so many other, productive ways,
But instead, I chose to play games…
The game that sucked the most Life out of me, was, Runescape.
The makers of that game are addiction specialists. I was hooked on it for countless hours…
All for NOTHING.
When I hear the stories of people who became great and world-class,
my heart breaks as they mention starting at a young age — like 10 or 11.
They discovered their talent at a very young age and pursued it relentlessly.
I have discovered my talent(s) at age 27. And, I’m yet to find the exact GPS coordinates of my talent.
When I see my younger brother (6 years younger than me) treading a similar path — wasting time mercilessly, playing Runescape,
it breaks my heart.
He is at 21, what I was at 11.
What I was at 11, I am ashamed and embarrassed by.
What I am infinitely more ashamed and embarrassed by,
is the fact that I could not set an inspiring enough example for my younger brother to emulate during his tender age of 5.

Education Is A Lucrative Business
People who work in the field of Education,
feel like they are changing the world.
But they haven’t been able to change themselves in years!
Truth be told, Education is a lucrative business.
Parents never question when you want to pursue something in “Education”
Teachers love it when they are asked for help, advice,
And when students shower them with questions that they know,
and even if they don’t know, they will instinctively cook up an answer,
rather than saying “I don’t know”
After all, they are THE teacher. How can they not know?
Society is full of praises for the teacher.
For they are the ones “helping” the society.
Family is full of pride.
And so is the self.
But no one really questions, whether these teachers produced any transformative outcome?
Nor for them, neither for others.
The truth is, Education is a lucrative business model.
Get paid 100% upfront.
Recurring revenue.
Make the student dependent on you, make more money.
Make the student feel like he is “Getting somewhere”,
Make more money.
Then when the student complains that he paid so much money but didn’t get anywhere?
Conveniently blame it on the student for not having followed your instructions correctly.
The student, too, believes that he will get somewhere. That is in fact why he comes to the teacher in the first place.
When one teacher does not work, he goes to another teacher.
Till he finds someone who he can relate with and understand.
He would pay the fees in full. Attend all the classes.
And then once it’s all over, he would return back to his default self.
Having not gotten anywhere. In life. In business. In whatever it is that he had enrolled in.
The world is full of scam artists.
Scamming themselves, and others.
A burden on themselves, and others.
A Word On Truth
What exactly is Truth?
Where does it come from?
Truth is reality. It is how things are…
There is no definition. It cannot be described through words
For it comes from a place unseen and unknown.
But it usually tends to come when you’re hell-bent on finding it.
Not from an intellectual standpoint…
But from a place of sincerity. When deep within your heart, you truly, truly wish to find out how things naturally are without any sense of judgement or discern,
When you absolutely MUST find out,
that is when you find it.
But beware,
Truth has the power to completely shatter you into pieces,
and put you through immense internal turmoil.
I think that’s probably why people are afraid to find out the truth.
But I’d rather die,
than live a false life.

Why I Enjoy Learning Much More Than Any ‘Teaching’
Truth be told, I enjoy learning much more than any “teachings”
It is just that I have some talents which can be utilized as a teacher.
But there was a time when I loved to “teach”.
So much so that I’d offer to “Teach” people for free!
I loved giving people Free advice.
I loved “helping” them…
Then I was made to see,
That people cannot be really helped. (At least not in the way you think!)
And that they do not value anything of ‘free’.
Truth be told,
A teacher’s need to teach is borne out of ego.
I know because I was at that place…
But trust me, it goes nowhere.
People may listen to you,
But they will never imbibe what you say,
Unless you become it.
A real teacher is like a shadow,
whose presence is felt, but not seen.
For as soon as his presence is seen,
the student starts leaning
towards the teacher.
And in doing so, he becomes handicapped.
Therefore, the teacher unknowingly causes more harm to the student.
I have no interest in harming anyone.
I just want to be me.
My biggest regret
My biggest regret in Life,

Money Is The Antithesis Of Learning
Money is tremendously useful.
But learning and money do not go hand in hand.
If you get into a field because “it has a lot of” money,
you will be wasting your time.
Because there will be far more people who are “not in it” for the money.
And as a result, they will outperform you.
They will learn far greater than that you could ever imagine in your dreams.
Money comes as a byproduct of learning.
And not because of learning.
If you chase money, it won’t come to you.
If you chase learning, to make money, it won’t come to you.
If you seek to learn, for learning’s sake,
something wonderful may happen. Or may not.
Society And Your Parents Do Not Care About You
Society does not care about learning.
But you do. That’s why you are here?
Society does not care about talent utilization.
But you do. That’s why you are here?
All society cares about is status upgradation.
And a plethora of ways to waste time.
Your parents are a part of society.
An integral part of society, I’d say.
They DO NOT care about your learning.
They DO NOT care about your talent.
They DO NOT care about your vision.
They may seem to care about what you want, but the truth is,
They care about themselves, more than you.
This is neither good nor bad. It is just the way it is.
Every human being on the planet care about themselves more than anyone else.
Because, Mother Teresa are born 1 in 100 billion people.
Therefore, you are alone in your journey.
Don’t expect the society to walk with you.
Don’t expect your parents to support you.
Respect and humility for what they have done for you,
Indifference to their words, actions, behavior towards you,
Forgiveness and acceptance of the fact that they do not understand you.
They will likely, never change.
Their ways will always be the ways of the society.
And society always produces common men.
If you have the desire to be the best, to utilize your talent and potential,
it will be wise to understand for once and for all,
That,
They are not on your side.
