Why I Enjoy Learning Much More Than Any ‘Teaching’

Truth be told, I enjoy learning much more than any “teachings”

It is just that I have some talents which can be utilized as a teacher.

But there was a time when I loved to “teach”.

So much so that I’d offer to “Teach” people for free!

I loved giving people Free advice.

I loved “helping” them…

Then I was made to see,

That people cannot be really helped. (At least not in the way you think!)

And that they do not value anything of ‘free’.

Truth be told,

A teacher’s need to teach is borne out of ego.

I know because I was at that place…

But trust me, it goes nowhere.

People may listen to you,

But they will never imbibe what you say,

Unless you become it.

A real teacher is like a shadow,

whose presence is felt, but not seen.

For as soon as his presence is seen,

the student starts leaning

towards the teacher.

And in doing so, he becomes handicapped.

Therefore, the teacher unknowingly causes more harm to the student.

I have no interest in harming anyone.

I just want to be me.
