Right to Opt-Out – People can opt-out from websites selling, renting, or releasing their personal information to third parties
Who Needs to be CCPA Compliant?
If your business meets the following conditions, then you’ll have to comply with the CCPA compliant law:
Your annual gross revenue is $25 million or higher.
If your 50% or more of your annual revenue is from selling consumer’s personal information.
You buy, receive, or sell personal information of at least 50.000 California residents.
What happens if you don’t comply with CCPA?
If you fail to comply with CCPA, it can put you at risk of huge fines. Well, if you’re found to be intentionally violating the law, then you could face penalties up to $7,500 per violation per individual.

Easy integration with CookieBot and Cookie Notice WordPress plugins
To access the addon, go to Insights » Addons » EU Compliance. Then install and activate the addon.
Once the addon is activated, go to Insights » Settings » Engagement and scroll down to EU Compliance.
Here you can play the settings and disable different tracking features in Google Analytics to comply with CCPA.
Step 2: Create an Opt-Out Consent Box
After setting up MonsterInsights and its EU Compliance addon, the next thing you’ll need to do is create an opt-out consent box.
That’s because one of the rights in CCPA says that people can opt-out from websites sharing their data with third parties.
The simplest way of creating an opt-out consent box is by using free WordPress plugins like CookieBot or Cookie Notice.
Both these plugins offer an option to set up an opt-out consent box that easily integrates with MonsterInsights as well.
Step 3: Update Your Privacy Policy
This is highly important because, under CCPA, California citizens have the right to be informed about how your website collects, sells, discloses, and shares their data.
You can inform your visitors that you use Google Analytics to track your site’s performance. Then describe what personal information Google Analytics collects about your visitors.
You’ll also have to explain the purpose of the data you collect, how you use it, and if it’s shared with any third party.
Your updated privacy policy should also include details about the different cookies you use to track your reader’s information.
Lastly, you can disclose the process that users can take if they want to see their data and how their data can be deleted from your website.
Final Thoughts: How to Make Sure Your Google Analytics Complies with CCPA
If you use Google Analytics and meet the requirements for CCPA, then with the MonsterInsights Google Analytics plugin, you can easily comply with the new CCPA law. Just use its EU Compliance addon and disable tracking with a few clicks of a button.

Music and sound effects are vital if you want to make an attractive and engaging video for your target audience. Music adds the emotional touch to your video and makes your video more interesting and engaging.
Also, music helps your audience understand the hidden message and the emotion that you want to convey through your video.
But it’s not easy to find out the best and copyright-free or royalty-free music and sound effects to use on your YouTube video (as background music or other) or any other creative projects such as podcasts, games, and movies.
Today I’m going to show you 9 amazing free websites to download copyright free music to use on your YouTube videos or anywhere you want.
These websites are free to use, full of high quality, and copyright-free or royalty-free music files. You can use any audio files from these websites to do almost anything.
Understanding The License of Copyright-Free Music
When looking for copyright-free music for videos, you’ll see that most of it are offered under a Creative Commons license. While this license gives you permission to download and share the content, there are different types of freedom within it. The five most popular types of creative commons licenses are the following:
CC0: Unrestricted. Publish, share, modify, and commercialize the work without restrictions.
CC BY: Attribution. Unrestricted license as long as you credit the author.
CC BY-SA: Attribution-Share-Alike. Derivative works can only be distributed under the same license.
CC-BY-ND: Attribution-No-Derivatives. Derivative works and remixes are not allowed.
CC BY-NC: Attribution-Non-Commercial. It cannot be used for commercial purposes.
Other common license types you might come across in your search for free music are “royalty-free” and “public domain”:
Royalty-free licenses are those which give the right of using a work without paying fees each time.
Public domain is the most open form of licensing, as works can be used for free for any purpose.

I’m in love with Unminus – Unsplash for music. We all love Unsplash because they allow us to use their copyright-free images anywhere without giving attribution. Unminus wants to do the same with music licensing.
Unminus is different from all the other music downloading sites here because the tracks come with a Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license.
In case you don’t know about Creative Commons licenses, the CC0 license lets you use any work for free, in personal or commercial causes, edit it as you see fit, and without attribution. This means you can do whatever you want with the music on Unminus, and you don’t have to add a link for it in the YouTube description.

2. Free Music Archive (FMA)
The Free Music Archive (FMA) is the #1 online resource for free music and royalty-free music. Free Music Archive works with radio stations, artists, and industry enthusiasts to offer one of the largest available selections of free music for videos.
You can search by song genres, title, clip duration, or type of license to find out the right music track for your YouTube videos or your creative projects.
While the majority of the songs are licensed under Creative Commons and licensed under the Public Domain, some of them are only available for personal download and listening. Make sure to double-check before you start working on your project.

All music available on FreePD is licensed under CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain dedication, and you can download all these music for free.
So, you can copy, modify, distribute, and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission and without giving attribution.
All music of FreePD is written by Kevin MacLeod, Alexander Nakarada, Bryan Teoh, and more.
Kevin MacLeod is the founder of another copyright-free music downloading site – Incompetech.com. He has composed over 2,000 pieces of royalty-free library music and made them available under a Creative Commons copyright license.

Free sound is full of awesome royalty-free music, instrumental music, SFX, and free sound effects that you can use on your YouTube videos, podcasts, or wherever you want to use.
Launched in 2005, Freesound is a collaborative repository of CC-licensed audio samples, with more than 400,000 sounds and effects, and 8 million registered users (as of March 2019).
Sounds are uploaded to the website by its users and cover a wide range of subjects, from field recordings to synthesized sounds.

Thematic connects YouTube creators and music artists, providing curated and pre-cleared music for your YouTube videos for free.
Thematic allows you to use free songs from established artists and musicians to use on your YouTube videos without any copyright claim. To download free music from Thematic, you can be a Thematic member for free by signing up using your Google account.
After you’ve become a member, you’ll get to see the full Thematic music catalog, you can use all these premium quality music for free. No claims. No takedowns. No worries. All the music available on Thematic is pre-cleared.
Of course, you have to follow a particular attribution link and style to use the songs on YouTube or Instagram.
Thematic allows you to filter thousands of free music clips by genre, community, vocal, tempo, and mood.
6. YouTube Audio Library (YouTube Music Library)
The YouTube Audio Library is a great and my favorite resource to download royalty-free music and sound effects for YouTube videos and other creative projects.
Maybe you’re planning to create a YouTube channel for your videos and later share them on your website or blog and other social platforms. If that’s the case, why not get your music directly from YouTube?
The YouTube Audio Library or the YouTube Music Library allows you to filter thousands of free music clips by genre, instrument, mood, duration, and license type.

7. Bensound.com
Bensound.com has been created by Benjamin TISSOT also known as Bensound, a Composer and Musician based in France who has been creating music for more than 10 years.
Bensound offers thousands of royalty-free music for YouTube videos, social media projects, websites, games, and more. The platform can be browsed by genre, popularity, uploading date, or tags. Although it once contained only the work of composer Benjamin Tissot, it now includes the works of other musicians as well.
The vast majority of clips on the platform are offered under an attribution no-derivatives CC license. This means you can use them as free background music for videos as long as you credit the site and don’t remix the tracks or use them to create new songs.

8. Musopen
Musopen is a non-profit and its mission is to set music free by offering free music for video editing, educational materials, and sheet music.
The majority of the audio files available are orchestral pieces, either registered as public domain or under a Creative Commons license.
On the site, you’ll be able to download free music clips from historical figures like Ludwig van Beethoven, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Franz Schubert, as well as renowned pieces such as The Valkyrie, Carmen, and The Barber of Seville.
You can filter the Musopen music library by the composer, orchestra, period, mood, length, and more.
Type of license: Public Domain and all CC types
9. Chillhop
Chillhop is a totally different music licensing site that’s full of high-quality soothing music.
After signing up, you can use any of the songs found on your Chillhop Creator Dashboard which have the download option enabled.
All you need to do is credit the music on YouTube. Just add the following credit link in your YouTube video description: Music by Chillhop Music: https://chillhop.com
It’s something like the CC BY-ND license.
Chillhop holds all the rights to their music and their music is not royalty-free. They allow creators to use their music as long as their music receives the mandatory credit.

For anyone just getting started with blogging, driving traffic to your new website might be the most difficult task you will ever be faced with.
But that shouldn’t be the case. It is even more difficult to get Google to love you enough to show your content in top search results especially when your website is just new.
Google doesn’t usually rank new websites to the top of its search results and as a result, many websites with high-quality content may find themselves at the bottom of search results. You will have to wait for 4-6 months before you can see results from implementing good SEO practices such as On-Page and Off-Page SEO on your site.
You may not be patient enough to wait that long.

In this post, I will be sharing 11 practical ways you can drive high-quality traffic to your website.
Let’s dive right in.

This is one of the most effective ways to drive traffic to your website if done properly and strategically.
You will need to look for more authoritative websites within your industry that accept guest posts and submit high-quality blogs to their sites.

If you have a podcast that really did well you could also convert that into a blog post instead. High-quality content that did well for you will most likely do well again if you transform it while ensuring you are adding value for your readers.

You can also add some relevant keywords to optimize your blog title to improve its ranking on search results.
Ensure you also create powerful headlines to capture the attention of your readers.
7. Create High-Quality Backlinks
You probably know just how much Google values backlinks as a ranking factor for websites. If websites with high authority link to your site, that gives you more credibility.
Irina Nica, senior content strategist at HubSpot says, “There are two main ways in which high-quality backlinks can help drive more traffic to a website: boosting ranking and driving referral traffic.

Simply answer questions related to your niche on Quora and link the right keywords to anchor content on your site or blog.
However, don’t use this platform to spam other users. Be respectful and if you are not very knowledgeable about a particular topic don’t voice your own opinions as fact.
Above is a screenshot of a question I answered just today that has already driven over 500 visitors to my website in just a few hours. Think of how much traffic it will be in a month’s period.
9. Leverage Your Presence On Social Media
Social media can massively impact your business and its ability to generate traffic and sales.
According to statista.com, almost 4.57 billion people were active internet users as of April 2020, encompassing 59% of the global population.
Social media sites such as Facebook average over 2.5 billion monthly active users. This is a treasure box.

By default, Google Analytics tracks only pageview hits and other metrics (bounce rate, traffic source, and more) related to pageviews. So, if you want to track how users’ interact with the content, you should set up custom event tracking to measure event hits.
You can set up Google Analytics custom events tracking in WordPress using MonsterInsights Google Analytics plugin. It simplifies the whole process of setting up event tracking in WordPress and I think it’s the easiest method available. Anyone can do it, even if they have zero coding knowledge.
With the new MonsterInsights Custom Link Attribution Feature, you can track your call-to-action (CTA) buttons and find out how your site visitors are engaging with those buttons. Also, you can add event tracking to other important links and see how users interact with those links.
It’s easy to add Google Analytics custom event tracking to your custom WordPress links with MonsterInsights. All you need to do is to add the following tags to the HTML of your link:
Once you add the tags, MonsterInsights will track your WordPress links and provide you with detailed reports.
For example,
Suppose your call-to-action button is a link to your subscribe page: https://www.example.com/subscribe
Here, MonsterInsights will use the following event conditions:
Category: “cta”
Action: “click”
Label: “subscribe button”
Now, you’ll need to replace the event category, action, and label with your event conditions. Then your custom event tracking link will look like the one below:
That’s it!
Now to view the data from your custom event tracking link, head over to the Publishers report in MonsterInsights Google Analytics Plugin.
Go to Insights » Reports » Publisher. Next, scroll down and view the Top Outbound Links report if you created a custom link like the one for ‘subscribe’ in the example.

The service you render is dependent on your skillset. It cuts across many fields from writing to translation, programming, graphic design, web development, niche research, video editing and the list is endless.
The success of your freelance career depends on your customer satisfaction and your marketing skills, like how you market your skills to attract potential clients.
If you’re a beginner, I suggest you start your freelance career on Fiverr because it’s user-friendly and beginner-friendly.
Also, you can use Upwork, PeoplePerHour, 99Design, Freelancer, Guru.com, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, and other social media platforms to get more clients.
To make more money doing freelance jobs, start a blog, create a portfolio, and use your blog as a freelance marketplace.

Affiliate marketing can be a great way to make money while traveling. All you need is a computer and a loyal audience. While traveling around the world, affiliate marketing will give you the chance of earning on the go.

With high-quality content, you can quickly generate leads, run affiliate programs, or enable Google AdSense on your blog to make money while traveling.
You can make passive income from blogging, but it requires a lot of hard work in the setup phase. You have to invest some money and 3 to 6 months to set up your blog before you monetize your blog.
Now blogging is a competitive business. So, you have to choose a less competitive niche that you have some knowledge of, and you know how to write quality content to attract your target audience.
As a beginner blogger, it’s hard to drive targeted traffic to your baby blog, and we all know that more targeted traffic = more money!

Just validate your book idea, get to know your targeted audience, follow Amazon’s book writing guide, and start writing your first book.
Promotion is the most important part of publishing an E-book on Amazon.
Make sure you pick a profitable niche and don’t forget to promote your eBook through social media platforms, influencers, and bloggers in that niche.
If you can sell a few hundred copies the first week of launching your book, Amazon will take over and start promoting it for you. This way, you can make passive income from Amazon.
Writing a best-selling E-book requires some knowledge and a bit of time investment up front, but it can be a great source of passive income month after month and can help you make money while traveling.
7. Teach a Language
For every country you visit, there will be probably someone that needs to learn your native language. You can teach many languages online or using language teaching apps like Cambly, NiceTalk, Italki, etc.

It takes time to make a following but it’s not impossible and after building a loyal following you can make a huge amount of money by monetizing your travel videos and you can make money while traveling.
9. Get a Remote Job
The difference between remote jobs and freelance jobs is remote jobs means you’re a full time or part-time employee at an organization or a company, while freelance jobs end once the project is over. In both cases, your presence isn’t required at the office.
Working as a remote employee is better than freelancing because sometimes it’s hard to get clients as a freelancer, while remote jobs are always there for you. So remote jobs make your traveling life more secure.
If you have the required skills and degrees, you can quickly get a remote job in a company and start working as a remote employee from anywhere.
You can be a web developer, marketing specialist, app developer, a software engineer, growth hacker, graphic designer, and the list goes on.
