9 Ways to Make Money While Traveling [Travel 365 Days/Year]
Are you looking for ways to make money while traveling?
It can be extremely challenging making money as a frequent traveler. But it’s not an impossible task to do. Thousands of travelers, millions of digital nomads are roaming around the world while making money online.
In this blog post, I’m going to show you 9 proven ways to make money while traveling and how you can travel 365 days per year!
Let’s dive right in.
1. Freelancing
Freelancing isn’t a passive income-generating business, but it’s one of the best ways to make an instant active income while traveling the world.
Freelancing is the act of rendering service without having a boss. Ironically, you have clients, and your clients are your bosses.
The service you render is dependent on your skillset. It cuts across many fields from writing to translation, programming, graphic design, web development, niche research, video editing and the list is endless.
The success of your freelance career depends on your customer satisfaction and your marketing skills, like how you market your skills to attract potential clients.
If you’re a beginner, I suggest you start your freelance career on Fiverr because it’s user-friendly and beginner-friendly.
Also, you can use Upwork, PeoplePerHour, 99Design, Freelancer, Guru.com, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, and other social media platforms to get more clients.
To make more money doing freelance jobs, start a blog, create a portfolio, and use your blog as a freelance marketplace.

2. Become an Affiliate Marketer
Affiliate marketing can be a great way to make money while traveling. All you need is a computer and a loyal audience. While traveling around the world, affiliate marketing will give you the chance of earning on the go.
In affiliate marketing, you have to promote someone else’s products to earn a commission.

Source – BigCommerce
To get affiliate products, you can join affiliate programs like ShareASale, CJ, etc. Also, like Amazon, almost every e-commerce website has its own affiliate program. You can join them too.
You can build your target audience using a blog, a podcast, or a YouTube channel. Also, you should focus on building an email list. After that, you can use these platforms and your email list to promote affiliate products.
To earn more passive income from affiliate marketing, always promote products that are valuable and helpful to your audience.

3. Sell Products and Make Money While Traveling
Selling products both online and offline is another possibility to make money while traveling.
I’ve heard of some travelers who sell items they collect while traveling, those who create crafts to sell at local craft fairs, and so on. Etsy, eBay, Craigslist are great places if you decide to sell items online.
You can sell digital products such as your travel photos and videos, e-book, music, online courses, mobile apps, and hundreds of other digital products to earn money while traveling this beautiful world.
4. Become a Virtual Assistant
V.As help with numerous tasks such as opening emails to social media management, booking flights, and capturing data. This job is a perfect fit for travelers that are highly organized.
“A virtual assistant (typically abbreviated to VA, also called a virtual office assistant) is generally self-employed and provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients remotely from a home office” – Wikipedia
If you want to work while traveling the world, if you are an organized traveler, and if you have administrative, accounting, business, and some technical experience, a virtual assistant job may be right for you.
Start working on a freelance site, because it’s easier to get clients on freelance marketplaces.
Also, make a list of potential clients and start pitching and networking with them by sending cold emails or using LinkedIn.
5. Start a Blog and make money while traveling.
Blogging on any topic of interest can be an excellent way to earn while traveling 365 days per year. You can start a travel blog and use your blog as a travel diary or you can share travel tips. With high-quality content, you can quickly generate leads, run affiliate programs, or enable Google AdSense on your blog to make money while traveling.
You can make passive income from blogging, but it requires a lot of hard work in the setup phase. You have to invest some money and 3 to 6 months to set up your blog before you monetize your blog.
Now blogging is a competitive business. So, you have to choose a less competitive niche that you have some knowledge of, and you know how to write quality content to attract your target audience.
As a beginner blogger, it’s hard to drive targeted traffic to your baby blog, and we all know that more targeted traffic = more money!
The best part is,
You can use Pinterest to drive massive targeted traffic to your blog while optimizing your content for Google and other search engines.

6. Write and Sell E-Book
You can sell your E-book online and make cool money from them through sales and royalties, while you travel the world.
Want to sell E-book to make money while traveling?
Well, it’s pretty easy. With Amazon, you can self-publish your E-books (or paperbacks) easily, and make money from it.
Just validate your book idea, get to know your targeted audience, follow Amazon’s book writing guide, and start writing your first book.
Promotion is the most important part of publishing an E-book on Amazon.
Make sure you pick a profitable niche and don’t forget to promote your eBook through social media platforms, influencers, and bloggers in that niche.
If you can sell a few hundred copies the first week of launching your book, Amazon will take over and start promoting it for you. This way, you can make passive income from Amazon.
Writing a best-selling E-book requires some knowledge and a bit of time investment up front, but it can be a great source of passive income month after month and can help you make money while traveling.
7. Teach a Language
For every country you visit, there will be probably someone that needs to learn your native language. You can teach many languages online or using language teaching apps like Cambly, NiceTalk, Italki, etc.
Also, you can get students through freelance sites or you can market your language teaching skills using your blog (or YouTube videos and social media platforms) and teach your students using Skype or Zoom call.
If you can’t be a language teacher, you can be a fitness coach, business coach, or almost any kind of coach or tutor. You can sell your coaching service online and from anywhere. This way you can make money while traveling by selling your expertise.

8. Become a YouTube Creator [Monetize Your Travel Videos]
Start documenting your travel journey and share your experience and stories with the world.
Just shoot videos, upload on YouTube, and build an audience to make money from your content. We all know that you can monetize your YouTube videos by using the YouTube partnership program and sponsorship.
Also you can post videos and contents on different social media platforms to make money from your content.
For example,
Nas Daily, my favorite video blogger (vlogger) who created 1,000 daily 1-minute videos on Facebook under the page, Nas Daily.
Now he is a successful social media influencer with over 15 million followers on Facebook and over 1.7 million followers on Instagram. He currently operates the Nas Daily Corporation, a video production company that uploads weekly videos and makes promotional videos for brands and companies from all over the world.
So, I suggest you upload your travel videos on all major social media platforms out there to build a strong social media presence and following.
It takes time to make a following but it’s not impossible and after building a loyal following you can make a huge amount of money by monetizing your travel videos and you can make money while traveling.
9. Get a Remote Job
The difference between remote jobs and freelance jobs is remote jobs means you’re a full time or part-time employee at an organization or a company, while freelance jobs end once the project is over. In both cases, your presence isn’t required at the office.
Working as a remote employee is better than freelancing because sometimes it’s hard to get clients as a freelancer, while remote jobs are always there for you. So remote jobs make your traveling life more secure.
If you have the required skills and degrees, you can quickly get a remote job in a company and start working as a remote employee from anywhere.
You can be a web developer, marketing specialist, app developer, a software engineer, growth hacker, graphic designer, and the list goes on.
Some well-known companies offer flexible remote jobs for digital nomads. Some of them are:
Automattic
Zapier
Buffer
Doist
Hubstaff
MailerLite
Online job boards such as Remote.com, RemoteOK, FlexJobs, We Work Remotely are great places to find flexible part-time work or remote jobs.
Also, you can directly approach a company for a remote job. Choose a remote-friendly company, let them know who you are and how the company can benefit from your skills and ask if they have any positions available.

Whether or not you choose to embrace social media, one thing is sure – social media is where people’s attention is today in the online world.

By reading, Crushing It! entrepreneurs can get practical advice to use social media platforms to grow their personal brand. It features the stories of how other successful business owners utilized Vaynerchuk’s advice to grow their online presence.
‘Crushing It!’ taught me a lot and at the same time, it wasn’t the kind of motivational book that said anything was possible as long as you believed, but anything was definitely possible if you had the right mix of hard work, patience, passion, and talent.
I’d recommend this book to anyone who’s found what they want to do and want to know more about how to go about their own journey.

Bonus: “The Rudest Book Ever” by Shwetabh Gangwar
Such an appropriate title!
For me, it was the hardest slap ever! LOL:)
This book is a real eye-opener, its shock therapy for the mind and soul.
‘The Rudest Book Ever’ is a collection of perspectives and insanely practical ideas to free your mind from all bullshit. The book is full of hard truths of life you would rarely hear from your parents, friends, society or the internet.
I like the first paragraph from the first chapter (You’re a Product) of this book.
He clearly wrote that you’re not his friend if you illegally downloaded this book, I mean the PDF version of The Rudest Book Ever.
He wrote that: “…As long as you are reading this book, I will be your friend. The only case in which it doesn’t apply is if you illegally downloaded this book, in which case, fuck you.” LOL!
It shows how straightforward, straight-talking and to the point our Shwetabh Gangwar Bhai (brother) is!
I suggest you read this book to change your mindset completely and to free your mind from all bullshit.
Because as an aspiring entrepreneur I think your mindset is everything (it can help you achieve your goals) and a strong mindset (which is free from all bullshit) is needed to dive into the risky entrepreneurship world.

How to Find Your Passion and Pursue a Career You Love
People like Gary Vaynerchuk, Patrick Bet-David, Neil Patel, Jay Shetty, Sandeep Maheshwari, and me too, we always tell you to follow your passion.
But that’s the problem.
Some young people don’t know what the fuck is this passion, how to discover this passion, or is it possible to develop a passion and build a career pursuing that passion!
Don’t worry,
Today I’m going to tell you what is passion, how to find your passion. Also, I will show you how to develop passion and pursue a career you love.
Let’s dive right in.
What Is Passion?
There are a few types of passion, but I’m going to tell you about the passion for the profession.
Because you are here to find your passion for pursuing a career you love.
So, what’s the actual meaning of passion?
Passion is a strong desire for something. Passion gives us the energy, enthusiasm, and patience to overcome obstacles. It helps us to focus on our work to achieve goals.

How to find your passion?
Keep your parents and your society’s thinking aside.
Now think about what you love to do and ask yourself these questions?
“What could I do without getting paid?”
“What do I do most of the time?”
“What subject could I read thousands of books without getting bored?”
“What activity motivates me?”
“Who are the people I admire, and why?”
Now, after asking these questions to yourself, what is your answer?
Yes! You got it, right?
The ‘answer’ is your passion.
Ikigai: The Japanese Concept Of Finding Purpose In Life

When you find your Ikigai, you will get to know about your passion along with your mission, vocation, and profession.

How to develop passion?
Is it possible to develop passion?
Obviously, everything is possible.
Either you are finding your passion or developing your passion; there is the same method to do both.
Look at my life.
I was very passionate about music. I always wanted to be a singer.
My friends suggested me to be a singer. I, too, have a dream of becoming a singer because of my extreme passion for music.
But when I decided to learn music, when I decided to explore the world of music practically, there is no one to support me.
I told my parents, but they didn’t give me the support I deserve. They want me to be a doctor or an engineer, just like most of the Indian parents wants.
When I realized that I couldn’t be a musician without my parent’s support, I have two options – Leave everything and explore the music or study in college.
But I also hated the education system, and I decided to dropout of school.
But before leaving school, I developed my passion, and I was aware of my next steps. My new passion is entrepreneurship.
But how did I developed a passion for myself?
It’s simple. I realized that I love business too. Just like the music, I wanted to explore the business world to learn the business.
So, for almost two years, I started reading business blogs and books, I discovered some awesome business podcast, I followed all the inspirational business mentors on Instagram, and I watched a lot of inspirational YouTube videos and movies.
These ways, I filled a lot of business information and emotion on my brain. And believe me, my thought process changed!
Slowly my love for business changed into a passion.
I realized that entrepreneurship is my new passion, and I want to help and inspire people. I started this blog; I started answering questions on Quora, I build an Instagram following, and I started helping young hustlers through Inuidea and other social media.
And I also convinced (It was a tough phase of my life) my parents that I don’t want to be a doctor or an engineer. Even I’m not going to school anymore. I’m going to build businesses, and I want to be an entrepreneur.
So, here’s is the answer to how to develop passion:
Choose something you love. Surround yourself with like-minded people. Read books and blogs. Watch videos, listen to podcasts. Feed your brain with information and stay motivated all the time.
And after that, your mind will tell you what to do next.

7 Cheapest Places to Visit in Europe in 2020
No doubt that traveling is expensive and traveling around Europe can be more expensive.
But I think for a true and extreme traveler, traveling in a European country doesn’t have to be expensive. Because there are hundreds of ways you can travel a country on a budget. Two such ways are Couchsurfing and becoming a digital nomad.
Also, you can avoid taxis or any private car, instead use public transport and avoid expensive hotels, restaurants, (make your own food) and tour guides.
Instead of a tour guide, you can use google maps and other features available on your smartphone.
In this post, I’m going to talk about 7 cheapest places you can visit in Europe in 2020 on a budget.
Let’s dive right in.
1. Bulgaria
If cheap countries in Europe are mentioned in a list then Bulgaria will come first.
Bulgaria is quite an affordable destination. Compared to the prices in Western and some Central European countries, accommodation, food, and public transportation seems inexpensive.
If you want to travel to Europe, I highly recommend you start your journey with Bulgaria, because it’s the cheapest and one of the most attractive places in the European countries.
Here are some of the most visited tourist attractions of Bulgaria: Sofia, (The capital of Bulgaria), Plovdiv, Varna, Nessebar, and Bansko.
This post contains affiliate links (I don’t recommend anything that I don’t believe in), meaning at no extra cost to you, I might receive a small commission for purchases made through these links.

2. Romania
If you want to take advantage of an enjoyable and affordable vacation on a budget then be sure to put Romania on your trip.
Romania is a considerably cheap and inexpensive destination that offers outstanding value for money for a lot of things. Including a reasonable budget accommodation for visitors in Romania should be around 30-40 euros per day.
Though there are hundreds of attractive places in Romania but I don’t think it’s possible to visit every nook and corner that’s why I bring 10 must-visit places in Romania:
Bran castle
Pales castle
Palace of Parliament
Castelul Corvinilor (Corvinus Castle)
Salina Turda
The black church
Rasnov Citadel
Romanian Athenaeum
Poiana Brasov
Balea lake.
Yeah, these are my personal favorite places of Romania and I highly recommend you visit these places if you want to explore the beauty of Romania.
3. Czech Republic, Prague
Prague is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the Czech Republic. Prague is an attractive city as well as very cheap.
You will also get food, drinks, and accommodation much cheaper than in Western Europe and you would be surprised to know that beer is available cheaper than water!
Prague is known for its amazingly built medieval castles and gothic cathedrals. The architecture there is so well made that anyone will be fascinated by it.
If you want to go on a memorable trip on a low budget with your family or friend, then you can choose the Czech Republic, Prague.
Here are some of the most visited tourist attractions of the Czech Republic: Prague (The capital of the Czech Republic), Český Krumlov, Ceske Budejovice, Karlovy Vary, and Brno.

4. Slovakia
Although not many people know about this charming country, this country is worth exploring for many reasons.
Slovakia is surrounded by many attractive places like mountains, natural landscapes, medieval castles and towns, caves, folk architecture, spas, and ski resorts.
On the other hand hotels in Slovakia are incredibly cheap compared to the rest of Europe. There, you can also get food, drinks and public transportation very cheap.
According to Wikipedia, more than 5.0 million people visited Slovakia in 2017, and the most attractive destinations are the capital of Bratislava and the High Tatras.
Here are some of the most visited tourist attractions of Slovakia: Bratislava (The capital of Slovakia), Tatra Mountains, High Tatras, Low Tatras, Poprad, Tatranská Lomnica, and Košice.
5. Slovenia
Central Europe is home to some of Europe’s cheapest places, Slovenia is one of them.
Ljubljana is the capital and the largest city, Slovenia is situated in Central and Southeastern Europe touching the Alps and bordering the Mediterranean.
It’s one of the cheapest and one of the most affordable countries in Europe. Slovenia is known for its mountains, ski resorts, and lakes.
If you want to explore Slovenia, I suggest you explore these must-visit tourist attractions: Ljubljana, Bled, Piran, Lake Bohinj, and Triglav National Park.
Also, don’t forget to visit the iconic Tromostovje (Triple Bridge) across the Ljubljanica River.

Belarus is famous for its beautiful nature, beautiful lakes, virgin forests, and rare species of plants and animals.
Hotels are extremely expensive in Belarus. So, if you want to travel on a budget you have to rent apartments, which is substantially cheaper.
Although accommodation is expensive in Belarus, transportation, and food are much cheaper. Also, you can use Couchsurfing for free accommodation and hostels for cheap accommodation.
Minsk, the capital of Belarus, has recently been named one of the cheapest cities for expats.
Belarus is definitely worth visiting if you want to experience something new out of your trip to the Baltic states. Believe me, devoting some days and getting to Belarus is a great plan.

You’ve come to the right place!
Today I’m going to show you exactly how to start a profitable blog and make money blogging in 2020.
Let’s dive right in.
[ If you’re unaware of some basics of blog and blogging, at first read some blogging basics here. ]
Need free help on starting your blog? Contact me.
Before starting a blog:
Decide what you want to blog about – Choose a niche you are passionate about
Consistency is the key to your blogging success.
If you are blogging just because of money and you aren’t interested in what you are writing, then seriously, blogging is not for you!
Before starting a blog, you should choose a niche you are passionate about.
When picking a niche for your blog, make a note on the business value and the future of that topic.
A niche helps you find your targeted audience.
For example:
My blog Inuidea is all about online business, blogging, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship.
Look:
I have a bunch of niches, but they all are related to each other, and the best thing is that I love sharing my thoughts and knowledge about these topics.
And who are my targeted audience?
Yes! Inuidea is a blog for young hustlers, bloggers, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
And because of my crystal clear niches, I know for whom I write a blog post. This way, I can connect and build a strong bond with my readers.
This post contains affiliate links (I don’t recommend anything that I don’t believe in), meaning at no extra cost to you, I might receive a small commission for purchases made through these links.

After choosing a niche:
Choose a name and a domain name for your blog
A domain name is your website URL.
For example:
The domain name for Inuidea is www.inuidea.com (It can be .org .net .xyz .in, etc instead of .com)
The Google global domain name is www.google.com, but the Google India domain name is www.google.co.in
Clear?
The first step of creating a blog is to choose a domain name for your blog.
It’s essential to have a short, catchy, unique, and easy to pronounce domain name.
There are over 1.6 billion websites in the world, and maximum people choose a .com extension for their sites. That’s why it’s so hard to get a short and meaningful .com domain.
You can quickly check domain name availability here:
If your desirable creative domain name isn’t available, choose a different name or stick to your name.
A lot of successful bloggers are using their name as their domain name. The plus point of using your name as your domain is that it’s unique!
In fact,
I’m using my first name on my domain name.
Inu + Idea + .com = Inuidea.com
No matter what your domain name is, If your blog is full of great content, people will love your blog.
So, don’t waste your time on choosing a great domain name. Just keep it simple, short, and unique.
Choose a good and reliable hosting
Hosting is like a home where your website is going to live.
Why free hosting sucks?
The reason why free hosting sucks is that they come with an unprofessional domain structure.
For example:
www.yourdomainname.blogspot.com
Look at this:
It’s a subdomain, it’s long, and It looks unprofessional.
Also, a free hosting give you limited options to customize your blogs or websites.
Best reliable and affordable hosting solution for a new blog
Bluehost is the most reliable and affordable hosting services for a beginner like you.
They offer a free .com domain, automatic WordPress installation, Free SSL certificate, and 24/7 customer support.
If you want to buy hosting from Bluehost right now, go to the Bluehost site and click the Get Started button and follow all the steps on their website.
Need free assistance? Contact Bluehost Support or Contact me.
When you purchased hosting and the free domain name from Bluehost, it will start installing WordPress for your website automatically.
After installing WordPress, now you are ready to open your WordPress dashboards and start customizing your blog.
[I’m recommending you Bluehost, but there are more affordable web hosting services available on the market. Such as Dreamhost , Siteground , etc. Check out them too!]

Choose a good looking and customizable Theme
Enough back-end setup!
Now we are going to do some front-end setup for your blog.
Till now, your blog has a name, a home to stay, but your blog is naked! LOL.
A theme is like a dress for your blog.
You can choose a good looking theme, and you can make modifications. Also, you can change your blog theme, just like a dress.
Once you’re in your WordPress site dashboard, you can install a theme on your blog.
Plenty of free themes are available on the WordPress.org site or other third party websites.
But just like the free hosting sucks, free theme sucks too.
They aren’t fully customizable and secure. Free themes look unprofessional, and they also want attribution!
So what’s the solution?
Well, there are thousands of pre-built premium themes available on many WordPress theme selling marketplace.
By installing a pre-built, premium theme, you will be able to create a complete, good looking, and professional site without coding.
If you are a newbie blogger, I recommend Divi by Elegant Themes.
Divi is a responsive and multipurpose WordPress theme. It supports drag and drop site building. Elegant themes also have amazing customer support.
For Inuidea, I’m using Avada by Envato Market.
And I’m in love with this theme. It’s the #1 selling theme of all time.
Just like Divi, Avada too a responsive and multipurpose WordPress theme that supports drag and drop building. You can create a unique and any website using Avada.
