Cast of Characters

I've gotten questions lately about who I visualize to "play" the roles of Merit, Ethan, Lily, Jason, Morgan, et al. (You know who you are, Wisconsin!). Today's installment - the "cast" of Chicagoland Vampires.
Although I absolutely encourage you to imagine the guys and gals you think "fit" the characters best, here are a few that come to mind!
Ethan (CV) - David Beckham

Alrighty, folks. The weather has cleared and the trucks have rolled out. That means FIRESPELL, the first book in my young adult Dark Elite series, should be at a bookstore or Wal-Mart near you!

Oh, yeah...And Chapter Two of Twice Bitten is now live!!
(But don't forget about Lily and Scout, who need your love, too!)

From today's NY Times, publishers respond to iBooks on the Apple iPad.

"We have learned that it is never wise to stand between a consumer and a
preference" for how they get their content, said John Makinson, chief executive
of Penguin Group, the book publisher.

The Future of E-Publishing Has Arrived.

Apple's new iBooks program, available on the new iPad tablet (release date TBA). Penguin, among other publishers, are apparently ready to sell items in the new the iBook store.

Cadogan Medals - The First Look

Lisa absolutely outdid herself. Here are the two Cadogan medals I've had made--one for me, and one for the Wisconsin booksigning winner, which I'll announce later tonight!!!





Aren't they fabulous?!? This is definitely one of those--this whole publishing thing seems completely surreal--moments: An idea I had has become an actual, tangible thing (thanks, as is often the case, to the hard work of others).
