(AP)The UK government also said these losses will “almost certainly” be worsened as tactical and support equipment continues to run out.“These delays will almost certainly be exacerbated by the loss of critical enablers such as bridging equipment and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance drones,” the UK government said. “Russian bridging equipment has been in short supply througho …

Senator Mitch McConnell made a surprise visit to Ukraine today along with three other GOP Senators.Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has welcomed to Kyiv a congressional delegation led by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Zelensky said on his Instagram account that the visit “is a strong signal of bipartisan support for Ukraine from the United States Congress and the American people.”
He added: “Thank you for your leadership in helping us in our struggle not only for our country, but also for democratic values and freedoms. We really appreciate it.”
Republican Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, John Barrasso of Wyoming and John Cornyn of Texas were also seen meeting Zelensky in video and photos posted to the Ukrainian president’s social media accounts.

On one hand these trips are primarily symbolic, a show of support for an ally. House Speaker Pelosi visited Ukraine l …

Justice Thomas Will Be Key Player In Fight Against Censorship
All eyes will be on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas now that the Texas “censorship” law will go into effect.
Protocol on Thursday reported that a legal challenge to the new law that reached the high court would be a gift to Thomas. In the past, Thomas argued social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter were “sufficiently akin” to “common carriers,” and as such, users should not be denied access to the platforms based on their viewpoints.
Protocol also reported that last year Thomas wrote that the Supreme Court had “no choice” but to “address how our legal doctrines apply to highly concentrated, privately owned information infrastructure such as digital platforms.”
After the Fifth Circuit upheld the controversial law earlier this week, experts stated that this could be Thomas’ opportunity to go after Section 230, which some conservatives argued allowed social media platforms to censor right-of-center content without consequences.
“He took the opportunity to rip on Sec. 230 in [a] case that didn’t even present the issue in any way at all. So one that presents the issue, I think he’ll certainly jump on that,” David Greene, a senior staff attorney at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, told Protocol.
Others said social media companies wanted …

Dem TX State Rep.: There Are ‘Over 100,000 Migrants’ Waiting for Title 42 to End

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Jose Diaz-Balart Reports,” Texas State Rep. Eddie Morales (D), whose district is on the southern border, called for Title 42 to remain in place and stated that there aren’t the resources “to be able to address the number of immigrants and migrants that are crossing.” And that, based on conversations with Mexican officials, there are “over 100,000 migrants just ready for Title 42 to end. We don’t have the resources and we don’t have the manpower to be able to handle that.”
Morales stated, “Well, we don’t have the resources in place, either from the state or the federal government to be able to address the number of immigrants and migrants that are crossing. We have video and we’ve been in constant c …

Vote From Home: Pelosi Says House Democrats Don’t Have To Show Up to Work for 6 More Weeks — Washington Free Beacon

Meanwhile, Biden COVID adviser and ‘architect of Obamacare’ calls for more masking, less travel, bans on indoor dining Andrew Stiles • May 13, 2022 2:20 pm
“It’s time for Americans to get back to work and fill our great downtowns again,” President Joe Biden said during his State of the Union address on March 1. “People working from home can feel safe to begin to return to the office.”
Months have passed, but Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) refuses to take the president’s advice. The leading Democrat announced on Friday that House members could continue to work from home and vote remotely until June 28, at which point she will consider an additional extension.
Pelosi, who is best known for violating COVID restrictions to get her hair done at a fancy salon and flaunting her $24,000 freezer stocked with $12 pints of luxury ice cream as ordinary Americans struggled to make ends meet, previously extended the remote working period on March 28, four weeks after Biden’s remarks.
A Washington Free Beacon investigation found that as of March 18, many Democratic offices on Capitol Hill and throughout the country remained closed. In April, the Free Beacon reported that Senate cafeteria workers were at risk of losing their jobs because so many Democrats refused to show up to work. Unlike Pelosi’s colleagues in the House, however, senators are still required to vote in person.
The day before Pelosi announced the extension of the remote working period, the Washington Post published an astonishing opinion piece by Zeke Emanuel, the former Obama health care adviser, a.k.a. “the architect of Obamacare,” who serves on Biden’s COVID-19 advisory board.
Emanuel, 64, has written that he hopes to die at the age of 75. In his article for the Post, the so-called health expert urged Americans to stop acting like the COVID-19 pandemic is over. “This conventional wisdom is gravely wrong,” he wrote. “I will continue to wear my N9 …

Kamala Harris Manages to Spin a Word Salad That Even Biden Would Envy

Kamala Harris has become famous for her ability to talk herself in circles while speaking in public. While that tendency could have been dismissed early on as the vice president just having a bad day, her abject vapidness has become a staple of her tenure in the Biden administration. In just the last few months, we’ve seen her go to Europe to announce that Vladimir Putin had decided to invade Ukraine, before then asserting just seconds later that the administration’s sanctions regime would deter the Russian leader from invading Ukraine. We’ve seen her brain break when asked about Pell Grants, as she struggled to dance around an issue she knew nothing about. And just in case someone wants a few more examples, feel free to click here, here, and here.
One of the vice president’s hallmarks in all these instances is the repetition of words. It’s as if Harris is a high school student giving a book report she didn’t study for and is trying to fill space. That happened again on Friday, as the White House hosted the ASE …

One lie that hides an enormous conspiracy: Inside the trial that exposes Clinton’s plot to slander Trump
Special Counsel John Durham appears to have methodically built a case of historic consequence. It’s just not the case he has brought against bigshot Democratic Party lawyer Michael Sussmann.
Jury selection begins in Sussmann’s trial on Monday, in Washington, DC. It will be the first trial to arise out of the Russiagate probe, which began over three years ago. That’s when former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr assigned Durham, a longtime Justice Department prosecutor from Connecticut, to investigate how, in the middle of a heated presidential campaign and based upon scant evidence, the FBI came to suspect one of the candidates of being a clandestine agent of the Kremlin — to the point of opening counterintelligence and criminal investigations targeting Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.
According to court filings in the Sussmann case, Durham has fingered the Hillary Clinton campaign as the culprit. The problem is that Durham has not charged t …

‘That’s not how it works boss’: Critics pounce on Biden tweet that suggests having ‘corporations pay their fair share’ would help to reduce inflation
The Biden administration is suggesting that making corporations cough up “their fair share” would help alleviate the nation’s inflation problem.“You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share,” a tweet posted Friday on President Joe Biden’s “@JoeBiden” Twitter account declared.
