Democrats Say Red Flag Laws Can’t be Abused

A nationwide survey conducted by the Trafalgar Group, in partnership with the Convention of States, found that a large proportion of individuals are concerned about the implications of “red flag” gun control laws.
Participants were asked whether they believe that “‘red flag’ gun control laws designed to temporarily take guns away from individuals” have “the potential to be abused by local authorities and government officials to disarm their political opponents and/or citizens who disagree with them?”

Sens. Thom Tillis (R‑NC) and Cornyn have continued to push for amnesty with the help of Democrat allies, including Sens. Padilla and Dick Durbin (D‑IL), the Senate Democrat whip.
“The only way that we’re going to get real progress is to have a four-pillar discussion — so immigration reform, DACA, border security and then I think asylum reform is pretty important, particularly with that’s going on with Title 42,” Tillis said in April.
“We’ve got a starting list. There could be some more. But it’s a starting point. I’ve talked to four or five Republican senators today. There’s a genuine interest in doing something,” Durbin said.
Cornyn was recently booed at the Texas annual Republican Party convention last Friday over his work with Democrats to pass gun control.

Deutsche Bank was the first to warn of the United States rapid economic decline in April, predicting that a looming recession is inevitable by 2023. Mexico Asks Biden to Free Assange

Mexico is willing to take in “the best journalist of our time” Julian Assange if the United States were to release him, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Tuesday.Obrador’s comments come after the UK’s Home Secretary Priti Patel signed an extradition order on June 17, sending the WikiLeaks founder back to the United States where he is wanted for publishing thousands of classified and sensitive documents.
Assange faces up to 175 years behind bars if convicted.
Lopez Obrador told reporters that he will ask U.S. President Joe Biden to address Assange’s case, saying Mexico would “open its doors to Assange” if he were released.
The Mexican president is set to meet his U.S. counterpart in July.
Lopez Obrador praised Assange on Tuesday, calling him “the best journalist of our time in the world” and stating that “he has been treated very unfairly, worse than a criminal.”

Biden Bike Fall Used by China to Mock U.S.

China’s Global Times government propaganda newspaper illustrated an article on Monday about President Joe Biden considering lifting tariffs on Chinese products with a photo of Biden falling off of a bicycle this weekend — an embarrassing image that went unmentioned in the article and had nothing to do with its contents.
Biden alarmed observers this weekend during a bicycle ride in Delaware on a family vacation when he stopped to speak to reporters and abruptly fell over.

Restaurant Vandalized Over GOP Candidate Event

A Wisconsin restaurant was vandalized for merely scheduling an event for a congressional Republican candidate. The owners of Vincent’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Monroe issued a statement about the incident on Wednesday on their official Facebook page. “Last night our restaurant was vandalized. We would like the community to know this act of vandalism was not committed by a disgruntled employee but because we took a reservation,” read the post. “A reservation which we knew nothing about other than it was a group of people who wanted to order food from our business.“The vandalism was targeted against Republican Charity Barry, despite the restaurant not endorsing her campaign. “Vince’s does not affiliate with a political party as we believe politics should be kept out of business.
