Sketch covers! Sketch covers! Sketch covers! I’ll have several finished sketch covers at the New York Comic Con. I’ll be at the Artist Alley wing of the convention center. I’ll post my table number later once I confirm everything.
Here’s one of the finished sketch covers, Scarlet Witch. This was a pain in the butt to do from start to finish. The waxy surface of the cover made inking and watercoloring a nightmare. I definitely will never use watercolor again on these sketch covers.

I got a big surprise this afternoon. Flesk Publications sent me the oversized Studio Edition of Drawing Beautiful Women. (We changed the name from “Gallery Edition” to “Studio Edition” because another company was branding their books as “Gallery Editions”. We wanted to avoid confusion.)
Holy crap! It looks awesome. It looks so great to see the art in their original size or near original size. Wow. Everything is on schedule for October release for the Kickstarter pledgers and November release for the general public.
