Wow. I can’t believe it’s been few years since I last drew a full Liberty Meadows comic strip. I felt a little strange revisiting the old gang, and might I say, a little rusty drawing them. But like riding a bike, once I got going, everything came back fairly smoothly.

I had blast writing and drawing this. As you may know, I’m a big fan of “Calvin and Hobbes” so I decided to tip my hat to that great strip as I revisit my old stomping grounds.

This Liberty Meadows comic strip was created for a special occasion. it’s one of the rewards for the supporters of my Kickstarter project, “Drawing Beautiful Women: The Frank Cho Method”. (For all those who bought the $20 book and higher.) This unique comic strip will be turned into an art print and included with the ‘Drawing Beautiful Women” book for the Kickstarter pledgers only.

Baltimore Comic-Con Panels

Okay. Okay. I just got the latest info on the Baltimore Comic-Con panels that I’ll be doing at the show next weekend. I’ll be doing TWO panels. The first panel is a Wolverine panel with various Marvel creators talking about our individual Wolverine run. My second panel will be my fun drawing panel. It’s my “One Character. One Action. One Hour” panel.

In this drawing panel, I’ll draw live onstage whatever the audience wants me to draw in one hour. At the end of the panel, the finished drawing will be raffled off. You can buy the raffle tickets ($5 per ticket) at my booth and during the drawing panel. Remember this is a no-holds-barred panel, so anything goes. You want me to draw Wonder Woman wrestling She-Hulk in baby oil? – It could happen. I have no filter. I’m serious, this will be one crazy panel.

Picture of the day: A giant demon drawing for my buddy, Marc Dyson’s project, Inkhead. It’s a pretty cool and twisted horror story.

Going over my list of creator-owned projects again and getting more and more excited. I’ve been jumping from one project to another in anticipation. Here’s a quick run down and schedule.

*Drawing Beautiful Women – FINISHED, out in November.

*World of Payne – Out in Spring 2015. (With Tom Sniegoski)

*Skybourne – Out in Fall 2015

*Guns & Dinos – Out in Spring 2016

I can’t talk about or show you more art from “World of Payne” and “Skybourne” just yet. Big announcements concerning both projects is coming down the pipe. Hopefully, we can officially announce the news at Baltimore Comic-Con. So I decided to show you some art in progress from “Guns & Dinos” project instead. Enjoy.
