Well gang. I’m branching out at DC.

Besides Wonder Woman covers, I’ll be doing a short stint on Harley Quinn and her Harley Gang as the new cover artist.

Once it’s colored and finalized, I’ll post the image.

Now, I’m off to Supanova Comic Cons in Australia (Sydney and Perth). I’ll be selling original art and art prints at both shows so ask my art dealer, Steve Morger, about them. See you guys, Down Under.

Budd Root’s Cavewoman Art Book Is Coming

I’ve been a huge fan of Budd Root and his opus, Cavewoman, since the beginning. For years, I’ve marveled at his delightful and saucy art. Budd has an amazing ability to capture the shadowy and primal feel of O’Brien’s masterpiece, King Kong, on paper, which I can attest is hard as hell and next to impossible. But Budd does it with ease and fun. His women are sexy yet innocent with a healthy dose of curves in all the right places. Budd Root is my kind of artist.

Over the years, countless Budd Root fans and I have waited for a big coffee table art book. Unfortunately with Budd’s insane workload and other circumstances, no Budd Root art book was coming.

So I’ve decided to damn the torpedoes and print the book myself. I can attest Budd Root art book is long overdue and need to be released to the world. I’m happy to announce that I’ll be publishing a giant hardcover Budd Root art book this year. The book will be released sometimes in the autumn under my Monkeyboy Press imprint.
