San Diego Comicon – Next Week

Yikes! Still under the deadline gun as I plow through my work list. The good news is that all the stuff that needed to get done before the show will get done.

I still haven’t started packing for San Diego Comicon next week, but here’s a rough list of what I’ll be bringing to San Diego:

* New art print by me and Brandon Peterson

* Original art for sale including my Wonder Woman covers

* “Drawing Beautiful Women” art book. (In the oversized edition, I’ll be doing small head sketches for money.)

I’ll be sitting at booth 4901 with Geof Darrow, Steve Purcell and Mike Mignola.

San Diego Comicon is just around the corner, and I have a work list a mile long of all the art I have to draw before I leave for San Diego next week. On that list is “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” pin-up for the Baltimore Comic Con Year Book. It’s focus this year is the Archie Universe. They needed the art now so they can get the book printed in time for the September show in Baltimore. http://baltimorecomiccon.com

I wished I spent more time on it and got a proper colorist to color it but deadlines are deadlines, so quick flat colors by me will do.

One more project off my list. Now, back to the grindstone.

Very busy week. I’m trying to get all my stuff done before I leave for San Diego Comicon next week. As for San Diego Comicon, I’ll be sitting at Booth 4901 with Geof Darrow and Mike Mignola. I’ll have a new art print, but no new sketchbook. (Just didn’t have enough time.) I’ll also be selling original art at the booth including my Wonder Woman covers.

Okay, enough chit-chat. Back to work for me.

Wow! I got the final cover image from Geof Darrow. Everything Darrow draws is magic. From his masterpiece, Shaolin Cowboy to his classic Hard Boiled, Darrow is a giant among men, literally. Again, he hits it out of the park with my Skybourne #1 variant cover. I’m just speechless.

Thank you, Geof Darrow. You’ve made my year, big guy.
