Day 3,893: Big Day
Got my outline done. Whew! Big day. Wiped because of it, but it is done. Sent it off to my co-writer. He’s gonna let me know what needs to be changed…and then I’m writing this damn thing. Let’s gooooo.
Work was slow today, thank lord. I was able to crank on the writing. Pups are good. Bear is good. Life…is good.
Night night.

Day 3,892: Hey!
Doing a quick one tonight, but hey! I did good today. Slept in an extra hour because I was wiiiiped from yesterday’s crazy long work day, but I got my ass out to my office and did the other hour of morning writing, and then cranked out the two evening hours as well, despite feeling super fatigued. Good work, too. Very happy with it.
Now…a good night’s sleep, and back at it tomorrow! Real close with this outline 🙂

Day 3,891: The Scary Vacuum
Joy is so scared of the vacuum. Poor babes. Doesn’t like it, not one bit. She doesn’t bark at it, though. Cooper used to do that.
I worked my ass off today. From 7am to 10pm. Whew. I’m freaking wiped. Get a good night’s sleep, and back at it tomorrow. I’m in good shape, though, for the rest of the week now because I pushed today nice and hard to get shit done. I hope, anyway. We’ll see.
Night night.

Day 3,890: As Hell
Whew. Hot as HELL today. 99 degrees. One of those “oven” days in LA. We definitely get a few more of those out here further in the valley where our home is, now, than when we were tucked in closer to the foothills. About five degrees on days like this. Yeah, I just looked it up—it was 94 degrees today back in our old zip code, lol. Sigh. Upside: it does get cooler here first. We get more air circulation. And that’s nice. We can open up the sliding doors to our bedroom and cool it down naturally....
Day 3,889: Smatlas
It late! But not too bad 🙂
We got to hang out tonight with Stephen and Thida, and we brought the dogs over and watched the JLo sci-fi movie Atlas together. It was terrible. Deliciously so. Had a great time.
I fixed the solar panels (hopefully) for our two front yard cameras. I’d put them vertically on our eaves, but they weren’t generating enough power, so the batteries were slowly dying. I moved them each up onto the actual roof. We’ll see if they do better there. They should! Plenty of s...

Day 3,888: Prime
Dogs are on the primo spots on the bed right now, over on Liz’s plush-ier blanket side. It’s so nice to have Coops back home. He came out and hung out with me in my office while I worked today. BUSY workday. Very very busy. I’m wiped. I only got one hour of writing in because it was so busy. But, that’s okay. I’m going to work through the weekend. I want this outline done.
Night night.

Day 3,887: Bobby
So, we found a dog on our walk tonight. His name was Bobby, but we didn’t know that at the time, because he was all by himself, and he had a collar on, but no tags. He was skittish, but he warmed up to me quickly enough for me to put a leash on him…and then he proceeded to take me on a walk around the neighborhood, back and forth, back and forth. He was lost. So, I took him home, we gave him some food—he was very hungry—and he got to hang out in our guest bathroom.
He was going to spend the n...

Day 3,886: One Take
It’s LATE. Podcasted tonight. It was a day off from work, actually, so it was perfect…except that it’s work tomorrow but whatevs. Good writing day. Great, in fact. Finally rolling again. Just need to keep it up.
Night night.

Day 3, 885: Wilder
Busy day today, but then it kinda let up right at the end and I was able to have a decently chill early evening and evening with Liz. Work hijacked my evening writing session. Kinda. It was also me letting the rope go a bit…but I’m going to get up on time tomorrow—even though I have the day off!—and I’m going to crush my writing session in the morning. No social media. No distractions.
Liz almost just made a spider fall on my head! Jeezus. She got it, though. She came out of the bathroom brus...
