Day 3,371: Pondering
Every so often, I take a look at that number up there and I wonder if I should change things up. It’s going to be ten years this year that I’ve taken my iPad out at the end of the night, leaned back on my pillow in bed, and typed out one of these entries. Is this still doing what I want it to do? Should I mix it up somehow? Give it up? Do something different? Or…is this a forever thing? Do we just keep cracking on with it?

Day 3,370: So Red
It’s late. Writing this about an hour later than I usually do because I had a little work to finish up. Twas the podcast for tomorrow morning, kicking off our David Lynch deep dive! It’s going to be SO FUN. We’re only two movies in right now (in terms of recording), and it’s already a blast.

Day 3,369: Another!
Oh boy, another late one!
We had a hang with our good friends Stephen and Thida. Went over to their place for some handmade pizza oven pizza. SO. GOOD. Stephen is low key a fantastic fucking chef, and his pizza is high key delicious. It’s the second time, I think, that we’ve done pizza at their house. Never fails to impress.

Day 3,368: Oh Boy
It’s LATE…so a short one tonight.
Great day. Writing was solid. Work was great. Warriors actually beat the Cavaliers—a legit good team this year—with just the baby dubs. And I recorded a set for writing. Need to record one more, but this one is in the bag.

Day 3,367: It Still Counts
Got my teeth cleaned! They’re looking good. Couple gum pockets on some rear molars that I need to floss a bit better just to make sure they don’t progress. Gotta take care of the toofers!

Day 3,366: Bonafides
I was so distractible today. Meant I had to work until like 9 in the evening, BUT…I did rally in the end and get all my work done. Whew!
Writing this morning was solid. Ideas are forming. I even floated the idea to my cowriter about maybe, maybe making the next Glory book a two-parter with a “to be continued” in between. Day 3,365: Fizzle
Well…The Menu fizzled out by the end. I’d still give it a thumbs up to watch, but it could have been so much better. It didn’t bring the noise. It peaked right around the middle and then just stayed there to the end. A shame. It is a GREAT concept, and when it was at its best, it was scathingly funny.
Work was solid today. Writing was good. One of the better days I’ve had, actually. I need to string those together, and get rolling on this outline, don’t I? The answer is: yes I do.

Day 3,364: Yes Chef!
We started watching The Menu tonight. Finishing it tomorrow because going to bed on time is good for me 😛 So fun! Like…soooo ffuuuunnn. Scathing. It better bring the noise in the second half. We’ll see.

Slept in. Got to hang out with Nicole and Alex. It rained. Got a start on finally recording some new DJ sets for writing. Did some research for an upcoming trip. Watched Grand Designs. Even a little bit of football.

Day 3,362: Flowers
Man, we had a busy Saturday!
Rained all day. Such a wet January. We need it though, and so far, it’s been pretty easy on SoCal. Not so much up in the Bay Area and the central valley; deluge rain like that doesn’t help. But, the pretty steady stuff we’ve been getting down here isn’t so bad.
Coco had treadmill. She did great at that, struggled with doing her PT exercises and was feisty even with laser therapy. We’ll just have to see how that goes from now on. Might be because she gets a shot...
