Military Romance Charity Anthology
Hiya, readers!
It's been a minute... like, nearly all month. And it's been a busy one that seemed to both fly by yet crawl. Regardless, here we are, knocking on June's door.
Hope you're gearing up for a terrific summer in the Northern Hemisphere and desirable winter in the Southern Hemisphere.
Let's get to the fantastic news that I've been teasing about for some time and can now share. I'm collaborating with a group of wonderful authors in a military romance anthology which will benefit a military/veteran charity organization.

The Heroes, Holidays, and Hope anthology contains stories written by veterans or veterans' family members. Stories will range from sweet to spicy, and will release December 6th. It's ready for preorder on Amazon. Other retailers will soon follow.
We plan to release a volume each year in December, picking a different military charity in which a portion of the sales will benefit.
This year's organization is The Fisher House Foundation.

Happy May
Hiya, readers!
How's the first week of May treating you? Decent here ~ accomplishing tasks, getting time with hubby and grand kids, and trying to work myself into a regular writing routine. Lately, I haven't been able to make the thoughts in my head coalesce into words on the computer. So, my goal for this week it to concentrate and make it happen. Often, once I resolve myself to simply get my thoughts and ideas out - no matter how scrambled they may be - they begin shaping up all on their own.
If you follow this blog as well as receive (and read) my newsletter, you know I've completed and submitted my short, second-chance story for a charity anthology that'll release in Jan 2024. And although it's a bit until then, the antho is already up for preorder. All sales will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Second Time's a Charm
Many people's lives have been impacted by breast cancer - including mine - with several friends and 3 cousins having battled through it. Any chance I get to help with research and hopefully one day end the despicable disease, I'll take it!
I've managed to sneak in some leisurely reading as well, yet my TBR pile never seems to diminish! And that's okay; ensures plenty of options. I went from Reapers and Fae and Dragon Kings in Donna Grant's world to a sweet, witty romcom by Sharon M. Peterson.
Lately my Kindle is filling up with exclusive stories from the HEA Collective. It's a Patreon monthly subscription with different tiers, depending on how many books you'd like to receive each month. I chose the $16- tier with 3 stories a month... and so far I've only managed to read 1 of the 9 I have. But never doubt I'll get to them all! Love the variety they offer. And readers can choose stories all the way back to the beginning of their existence in 2022; not just the new ones each month. ;) I've done a combo of both. May's theme is Mistaken Identity, and I couldn't refuse the tempting choices!

I may (or may not) have mentioned that hubby and I were gearing up for a fantastic trip this month. Well... unfortunately, that's been cancelled. I know! *insert sad face and tears* We were looking forward to a road trip into Canada, seeing some fantastic sites, but for various reasons, it isn't happening when we'd planned. We're very hopeful for the future. And just the past few days we've been seeing the unfortunate occurrences of over 300 wildfires throughout several provinces, so that probably would've had us cancelling regardless of our own reasons.
Prayers for Canada in getting them contained and sparing lives. I'm sure it won't be too long before we're wishing the same for our own in the States, as we can't seem to go a year without that battle.
Well, I suppose I'll close for now, wishing you all well and happy reading! And an early Happy Mother's Day to whom it may apply.

Party time! Let's celebrate!
It's been a bit since my last blog post, and boy has life been busy.
Besides time with family, working, writing, promoting, dealing with migraines... it's insane! But more in a positive way, thankfully.
While promoting Wednesday's release of the Rock My World anthology, I also finished a short story for a charity anthology releasing in January 2024. I know, seems like I had plenty of time, but when a story flows, I go with it; and it flowed so well, I finished it in 2 days! Granted, it was "only" 5K words, but it felt fantastic. And early wonderful feedback from trusted readers who give me the best critique made my day!

Happy Birthday to Meeeeee!!!
Hey, readers!
Yes, the 27th is my true birthday, and it was marvelous. It started with plenty of b'day wishes along with a cute video from my son and grandson, wishing Lala (that's me), happy Birthday!
Hubby and I had breakfast at our favorite place, followed by a few errands. Then back home to do what I do... change linens, food prep, computer work. You know, the glamorous life! ;)
For the birthday bonus contest I ran, I had two readers comment, so guess what? They're the winners! Just waiting for them to get back to me about the details.
As March comes to a close and we look forward to April, I'm preparing plenty of promotion for not only the release of the Rock My World anthology, but several author parties and a live FB interview. Welcome to Spring...and all the book news.
Spring is here in the Northern Hemisphere, and as always, I'm looking forward to warmer, sunnier days.
We've spent time freshening up our property, trimming trees and burning the brush piles. A few more areas to work on, but feels good to clean it all up.

New releases!

Hope the first week of March is treating you well.
I'm going to get right to it by saying I'm thrilled to see more releases out in the world.
I've got Love on the Plaza, which completes the 3-book series... although I didn't have the foresight to name a series years ago when I originally wrote Love on the Line. Now all the gals have their story!

These stories were so much fun to write, set in one of my favorite places - Boise. Well, Love on the Catwalk actually takes place in Los Angeles, but Kayli is from Boise. ;)
And, they contain mentions of some other favorites, like the Boise Balloon Classic and the Idaho Steelheads hockey team.
Hope you'll read and find out for yourself how fun and steamy they are!

Winter is still hanging on here in the PNW of USA, with snowfall! Seems about every other February, we get a good snow storm for our area, and more is predicted.
