Cover reveal!

Hey readers!
Yes, I'm actually posting two weeks in a row. ;)
For the most part, it's been fairly sedate these past few days which has been nice, since I'm preparing to return to my day job after being out with the crud for three weeks.
This weekend, I prepared my NL information, completed some promo, began organizing an upcoming project with author friends (so much more on that to come!), and I got my mock-up for the cover of my upcoming release with Evernight Publishing!
I'm excited to bring readers a short, sassy, and of course, sexy read ~ Destined Dragon ~ featuring Raibert and Layla, on Sept. 29th!

I'm still here!

Hey, readers!
Yes, I'm alive and kickin'... after two weeks of battling crud, I'm slowly returning to 'normal'. The first week was rough, then surprisingly, I was able to concentrate on my writing and accomplished a ton of work. In between plenty of naps, that is. ;)
I submitted a novella to Evernight Publishing, then in a week, wrote a second one and submitted. I then completed edits on an upcoming release, and finished reading a story for another author friend. So yeah, feeling very satisfied with the week.
I'm currently in between projects, contemplating what to write next. I'd love to get a holiday romance completed, so we'll see how that goes.
I'm also branching out into anthologies, and the first one up is a rock and roll romance due in February. Ideas are brewing...

I spent the weekend staying busy: Getting feedback from a few readers on my latest project, which I'll polish and submit soon to Evernight. I also read for business as well as pleasure. It was too hot here to do much else.

Welcome, August!

Hello to August ~ the height (and heat) of summer here in the US. There's definitely been some wacky weather, but we won't dwell on that, right? Much better topics to discuss. Like books, of course! Oh, and my author anniversary! That's correct ~ five years ago this month my dream of becoming a published romance author was realized. And with good fortune, I hope to have many more years of writing for you readers.

I recently wrote about getting several stories in print, and I can now add Kiss Me at Sunset to that list... at least at B&N right now. (Hopefully not much longer for Amazon.) I gave it a makeover with a new cover from a fantastic designer, lengthened the content, and voila! I love it!

As for my writing, I'm finishing the final chapter in my WIP and hope to submit to Evernight Publishing this weekend. My concentration has been a little off, partly due to being plagued with headaches. Yep, I'm one of those who goes through cycles of migraines and/or sinus headaches depending on the weather. Not. Fun. But, I cope the best I can. My self-imposed schedule is a bit behind for my liking, but I'd rather produce quality stories readers will love, so thanks for hanging in there!

Revised eBooks are available

Hey, readers!
Not only are the print versions of my two books I spoke of last time available, but updated versions of the following ebooks are ready too!

It only took contacting Amazon support three times for them to finally tell me, yes the updated versions were (finally) available; no, readers don't receive any notification of this; but, if they go to their accounts, they'll see the update is available and can download.

I hope to have the updated ebook and print version ready for Kiss Me at Sunset by the end of July (working with an artist to reveal a brand new cover). You can be sure I'll let you know.

Paperbacks and more, anyone?

I hope I'm not jinxing myself with this blog, but I feel pretty certain I'll soon have Amazon's approval for my cover wraps, and will have more books available in paperback!
Yep, I've been going round and round, and learning something every day. It's been maddening, and a lesson in patience (which more often than not, I have very little!) ;)
While awaiting more covers, I'm working on my next story I plan to submit to Evernight Publishing.
And at some point this year, I hope to work on more from my military romance series that started with Love and Honor; a story included in the 1001 Dark Nights Short Story Anthology 2020. I've written 2 other stories and plan more.

Updates and revisions

You ever get a wild hair about something and you just can't let it go, so you focus on that, and that alone, until the task is complete?
Well, that's what I've been up to the past three days.
I've got some exciting news about several of my self-published books! I'm finally getting around to offering them in print! Now to some, this may not seem like a big deal, but to me (an Indie author) it is.
I've been working on revising and putting additional material in the manuscripts, then reformatting them and uploading to my KDP as well as Draft2Digital for distribution of the upgrades.
Plus, I'm working with cover artists to complete the cover wraps for the print editions!
I want to be able to offer print versions to readers who prefer a book-in-hand. (At some point, I hope to include audio versions among my titles... but that's for another time.)
So, if you've purchased a digital copy of Changing the Game and Only You for the Holidays, be sure to check later this week with your digital retailer for an updated version. Or heck, they're each only 0.99, so you could always buy new. ;)
