I hope this new month is getting off to a marvelous start. I'm one chapter away from finally finishing my story for the upcoming holiday romance collection, Winter Wishes & Holiday Kisses. Then it's on to my Halloween steamy romance for the next charity anthology.
THEN it's three more novellas to work on between November - May, so I'll be plenty busy.

ARC readers wanted

Hiya reader! I'm back after a little bit longer time off than anticipated. But all is well, and I'm hitting my holiday story, Let's Make it Forever, hard. It's flowing well, and I hope to have it off to Betas by the end of this month.

Fun was had!

I can't say enough how much of a good time I had hanging out with my sister in Lincoln City, OR, at the Books and Beaches book signing event. Met so many wonderful authors, narrators, readers, and more!
It became a worthy socializing and networking opportunity.

And now that it's back to real life... sort of, because I'm still on somewhat of a vacay this week while my sister is here... I'm still getting my chores completed, paperwork submitted. ;) As for writing? Eh, not sure much will happen, but we'll see.

Oopsies... and your chance to win!

Truly, I do know what I'm doing. ;) I'm keeping my stories straight, using Word docs and notebooks for, well, notes. And I'll be sending my stories to Beta readers, so they're extremely helpful in pointing out errors and/or inconsistencies when my mind tends to wander all over the place.

Beyond writing, I'm preparing for my trip to Lincoln City, OR for the Books and Beaches Author and Reader event. I'm very excited for this, not only to meet authors and readers, but also because my sister is accompanying me and I'm anxious for our time together!!

Am I crazy?

I guess I thought it wasn't enough to have four stories due between 10/1 - 5/1/25... because I just added another project to the schedule; this one due 12/1/24.
I couldn't resist! The premise was too enticing, and story ideas started to swirl through my brain faster than I could get notes in a doc.
I can't reveal too much at this time because I don't want to jinx myself, but let me just say, if this comes to fruition, you're in for one heckuva shared world reading experience!

Anything new happening?

End of June (almost)!? Really?!
Our days have been awesome and looking forward to more. But really hoping they don't fly by! At the rate it's going, seems bound too...
So, we make the most of them!
I did on Saturday when I presented at a Veteran charity event. Had a marvelous time talking with people, selling a few books, and hubby even hung out with me.
Now it's on to preparations for the next event, which will be the first weekend in August. Kept July open and hope to plan for a holiday market, so we'll see.
